Jeffrey Archer's Latest Book Has A Plagiarised Story?
iGuest replied to The Simpleton's topic in General Discussion
There is also one more instance of plagiarism in Archer's new collection of short stories "And thereby hangs a tale". The fourth story "A blind date" is a rip off of Ruskin Bond's story "The eyes have it". Penguin Books : The Best of Ruskin Bond; 1994. the plot is exactly the same, embellished with some typical Archerisms. -

What if I have text for more then one lineHow To: Create PDF With PhpHi, Nice tutorials about pdf generation, thanks, but I want to know that when we have text of more then one line, then how we will print this using line break, presently, if we have a longer text then it is showing only one line with short text (not full text line) (some part of text is getting hidden), how we can print full text with line break after page column is over and start new line with text. early reply will help me lot. New Text Based Game Maker A new text based game engine
iGuest replied to Scionwest's topic in Computer Gaming
Things to consider in a networked gameNew Text Based Game MakerI think that creating an online text based adventure is a bit tricky and am considering doing it myself once I have my basic engine complete and fully functioning without any bugs. I'll cerntainly take a look at this engine because I'm quite interested right now.Anyway, things to consider in an online environment is that you will ALWAYS encounter people who try to hack or cheat their way to the top, which means that unless your game consists entirely of text adventure without variables like rooms, monsters, character, items and the such, your game will be vulnerable unless you implement security measures. One way which is most common is a client/server where the client sends requests to the server and the server checks those variables to make sure everything is correct. This way you only have to provide a public key to the client which provides the password needed to access the server and contact it with new information like travlling between rooms.Gosh I didn't expect to go blabbing so much, but I really hope I opened a lot of eyes here. I myself have been pondering this type of stuff over the past two months while producing my own engine and game.I also just realised how old this post is...But hey, I came upon this within the first link on google so yeah. -reply by Ramblin -
I think that NOD32 is much better I have used both. NOD32 runs alot faster and doesnt slow down your computer, however they are both effective at kill viruses but I would go with NOD32 because it has a better sandbox, which makes it 10X more effective at kill viruses that have just been created and they have not had time to create an update. I would go with NOD32 but kaspersky would be a close second. For people that don't go around downloading random things and going to random website I would get what ever cheapest between kaspersky and nod32 -reply by helololol

I ten thousand times % agree with this person who brought up this subject, I never understood why noone made it yet. I have read people saying that while you stand up to press the button you could change channel, the bottom line is we never lose the remote all the time. If we find the remote we can operate the tv as many times we want to. There are few gadgets that are made to find stuff like one remote to find another but if you lose both nothing is going to help. A button built in on a tv wont get lost. There are some cordless phone that has this feature.

Did they exist? nobody can say that for certain, but it is scientifically possible. dragons we often described as being so long that they could wrap themselves around a large house. Now it seems impossible that an animal 40-50 feet long could have the ability to fly. the wingspan would have to be over 80 feet long. adding up the weight of the wings and the dragon it self, it seems even more impossible that they could have existed as flying creatures, the amount of muscle needed to effective move the extremely large wings would make the dragon entirely heavy. and completely impossible to fly. then there are the stories about them breathing fire. biologically, its impossible, and no other animal has ever had the trait. so all these signs point to no. but wait. there are certain things that are biologically possible that would negate all the facts previously stated. before that lets go on to a story that was told by huntsman in china. they were out to go hunting and about halfway through their expedition, they were attacked by what they said was a dragon. they killed it and did not want to carry the dead body, so they left it and decided that they would come and get the body later, but after they returned, only hours later, they saw that the dragon was already quickly decomposing, so they left it, and within a few days it was little more than a stain, the body and bones had dissolved. impossible? no. Lets assume for a moment that the dragon has four stomachs, such as cows. and these stomachs contained hydrogen. hydrogen being much lighter than air, this would enable them to be able to fly with a much smaller wingspan, and not as big of muscles. fire? is actually possible. it turns out the when hydrogen and platinum powder mix with outside oxygen at room temperature, it bursts into flame. This coupled with each other, turns out to be highly caustic and has the ability, with the help of stomach acids, can dissolve the body quickly, even the thin birdlike bones that would be needed for flight. like i said, i cant say for sure whether or not that they existed, but we can say for sure now, that it is not overall scientifically impossible.

For you is money the root of all evil? For You Is Money The Root Of All Evil?Money is not the root of all evil. Human beings are. By nature human beings are insecure. And because of their sense of insecurity they hoard( aquire). This is the true reason for all the strife in the world. Money is only a tool of exchange, invented by man. It only represents a product. Since the products are too gross to be hoarded and stocked, man invented the tool called money, which can buy all that he desires. ASHOK

I have absolutely no difficulty reading in dreams. Just a few nights ago I had a dream that mainly consisted of words (actual visible words that were clear, definitely English, and remained the same even when I reread some of it) and had a sort of... background awareness of visuals? Which is pretty much the dream version of what happens when I read a good book.A sign or something in the distance isn't always clear though, or will only have one distinct word if it's important. Again though that's similar to how my conscious mind works (if I'm awake of course, I can read that sort of thing, but unless I focus I tend to simply not notice the details)As an additional note, I'm a writer and an avid reader, so words are second nature to me most of the time.I'd really love to find out where this myth about not being able to read in dreams came from.

Copyright NonsenseWalmart Photo CenterI ordered some prints on-line and when they were ready, the sales associate called to tell me that because the photos looked "too good" I would need a Copyright form signed by the photography studio showing ownership transfer to me. I explained that I took them and thanked her for the compliment but she still would not let me have them. I told her this was time-sensitive and asked to speak with a manager. She said he would not help me without the form. I canceled my order, went to CVS and had them printed there. There was no question, hassle or problem at all. I own an on-line photo fixing and restoration website and I usually refer my customers to take their finished product to the Wal Mart online photo center to get them printed. Not any more. I will send them anywhere else from now on. -reply by Dave

I Keep Seeing The Same Numbers Everywhere
iGuest replied to gisellebebegirl's topic in General Discussion
I see 918 too. Everywhere. I am not born on that day and neither is anyone close to me. My first love is from Oklahoma, near Bartlesville, which uses the area code 918. For awhile I thought that it meant we were supposed to be together. However, I have since met the man that I know is my soul mate (I can feel energies around me too), yet still this 918 calls to me. I began seeing it right after Oklahoma boy came to visit me when I was 16 (I live in PA) for four days. I am nearly 23 now. I see the number 918 in almost everything. It started with the clock. Then it was in dates (9/18), scores (9-18), license plates (ABC918), addresses (0918 Epley St.), mailboxes (918), directions (9 miles on route 18), pretty much anything you can imagine.I'm not looking for it and I'm not crazy. I have had witnesses who know me well and know my 918 predicament that have seen. For example, the other day I was searching for a small scale to weigh vitamins/herbs and such. One scale was disguised as a clock. On that clock, the time was 9:18. Another one of the scales was disguised as a cellphone. Instead of an actual screen, there was a sticker that LOOKED like a screen. The "fake" time on that sticker was 9:18. Thankfully one of my best friends was with me. Needless so say, after me talking about 918 for months, he was freaked out too...I believe the answer will come to me, as I'm sure it will for you. You are not crazy and it's not simply coincidence. Your Spirit Leader is trying to tell you something...just listen. -
How To Create "ghost" Images (norton) On Windows
iGuest replied to WeaponX's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Ghost Cast Server 11.0 Windows 7 ProHow To Create "ghost" Images (norton) On WindowsI created an image of a laptop running Windows 7 Pro. When I push the image out to another laptop (same model) and boot it up it, Windows Boot Manager comes up: The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible. I do remember when I pushed the image I saw three partitions one: small Diag. two: NTFS 8.5 GB, three: NTFS with the remaining disk space. I pushed it to the largest partition. Any information on what I did wrong will be appreciated. -
I often see a dream that I am running all ends up for the search of job and even rejected by my juniors on demanding the job. All persons, to whom with I have worked for or my subordinates make mockery of me and suddenly I find myself helpless. It takes a few seconds to recover in the morning. Why it is so with me?

I loved your comment Herbert, Totaly true. In most of these games stupid rich people are best players and super-human clever people can't even be at the top 10 unless they pay !! sucks Keywords:

Not quite the size you want, but tiny core linux is only 10MB with a gui. And micro core linux, it's command-line-only counterpart is only 8MB. Technically, there is an OS with a GUI that is below 1/2 MB, and that's the one with the program spinwrite (sp? spinright?) but the only thing it does is fix harddrives.

Task manager can be launched either by pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL or by typing C:\Windows\System32\taskmgr.exe in the command prompt box. But if you are getting the error message ?Task manager disabled by administrator? while launching the task manager it may be for the virus that enters in your system or the administrator permission could have stopped its use by some other user?.The guideline to enable your task manager is nicely provided here http://www.completepcpedia.com/task_manager.htmlGood luck

Family Guy Vs. South Park What is the best comedy serie?
iGuest replied to Accure's topic in General Discussion
Southpark really is good sure it has probably lost attention by now,and family guy with they thrive on jokes to stay alive i like family guy even know it's a bit f*cked with the jokes you can't really say at the animation is bad it is good, southpark relys on dissing a religion, person or sometimes they actually do something of there own to make sure they ain't braking the bar, lately they trie to pick on muhammed a religius figure and all about why he cannot be picked on they censored it when the episode aired but i assure you it was not in an attention of a joke and trey and matt stone did not know untill it aired, family you are good its a surprize you are even still on but good work, and southpark pat your shoulders you deserve it after 15 seasons you will be missed. -

I did use this service "mymailshare.com" and it looks pretty good and easy to use except that it doesnt load properly on the mobile. I did contact their support service through email and they said they are working on a mobile compatible version. Regarding the security, it uses a conventional 128 bit encryption and so that shouldnt worry us at all. One good thing i learnt with mymailshare.com is that it allows users to do multiple things parallely. You can compose your email and at the same time you can also upload your documents or save your stickys. All the features in this email system can be done side by side. Thats one of the big plus i see with this email system. Also in other traditional email service we have to navigate from one page to another to do a job. But mymailshare.com brings all the screen as a popup window and so you can do all the task side by side. It also has a feature where you can see all the active sessions you have. Lets say you opened your email in one of ur friends computer and forgot to logout it. You can login to your account from anywhere and it will show you all the places from which your account is logged in. So you can do a remote logout. This is one of the best feature i like in this email system. Also you can schedule a mail to be sent in a future date and time. I really love using this email system and it satisfies my needs. It would be good if they can add more themes.

Old DOS game about robot dinosaur. Anyone remember?Old Skool GamesGuys, I cannot remember the name of this game. It was 2d platform, like super mario bros, but you had to reach the end to go to the next screen, with new obstacles. In some screens, the player controlled a robot dinosaur, trapped behind a force field. Then the player would control a flying robot deployed from the dino's belly, and reach a lever switch, to open the passage. Some screens were played as a robot. The robot and the dinosaur were big, like half-screen tall. The scenerios were alien, robotic, like the insides of a ship. There were no points, as I recall. Anyone remember the title of this game? I'd love to replay it. -reply by Marcio
