  1. Oh. That's a hard one. There are three ways. 1. *#7328748263373738# type that on the main screen and it will reset the security code of your phone. 2. Nokia 6300 can be unlock using a Master code. There are code generator available online. All you need is the IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity). To check for the IMEI, press *#06# on the main screen. 3. Another option is that you can do is flash the firmware of your Nokia 6300. This will reset all info of the phone back to the when it was shipped out. Be careful with flashing the firmware, though. It can turn the cellphone into a brick if you encounter a problem during the flashing. Oh. By the way, for Nokia..I believe it's a 6-digit code..try 123456.
  2. Hi Nicky. How old are you? If you're a teenager, enjoy the feelings while it lasts. The pressure that her parents put into your relationship may be too much for her to handle that's why she doesn't reply or give you a direct answer. Understand that she still is under her parents' roof. At young age, it's hard to take a leap of faith for love when you still have a lot of things/plans for your future.Your plans of studying abroad seem fix and, trust me, long distance relationships is hard and almost always fail. Enjoy your love for her while its there. Once you distant yourself by studying abroad, you'll see a whole new world and will start to move on. It sounds s preposterous but in love it's best to wait and see. Open your heart and mind. You'll never know, you might end up with each other again.
  3. Hi guys. I don't usually start topics but I need you opinion on the design I made for my girlfriend's website, https://www.iamissa.com/. The design uses BizzArtic's Inuitype WordPress theme (a dark and serious-looking theme) which I tweaked for about 12 hours to become a bit girly (and a bit playful). I do have an eye for detail but a girl's viewpoint is still different. Please visit the site and say something about it. **Warning: I'm just a noob web designer with a bit of background in CSS and HTML. Enough to play around with the theme.
  4. I thinking we should stop using the "Middle East" label instead of being specific to the country. There are other Middle Eastern countries like Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Israel that are pro-development and would rather work with other countries than start a war. As for peace. It's a goal we'll never reach, more like an abstract idea.As for Iraq. After years of fighting, I still don't understand the reason behind the war. Yes, we were told that Hussein is a bad guy. He killed people, thousands of people who are against him but the main reason of the war is supposedly Hussein's Weapons of Mass Destructions. Where are those now? Still no evidence of its existence. Now for the question. It's about time US leave Iraq. Deadmad is right. The US has no business staying in Iraq. The US get to be blamed for the deaths. This useless war is currently feeding new breed of anti-US demonstrators and terrorists with hatred. Eventually, another 9/11 attack will happen to the US or one of its allies. I live in Mindanao, Philippines (where the majority of Filipino Muslims live and have a lot of Muslim friends. They're generally good-natured, peaceful and loving community. They'll even protect you with their lives if they fit. Just don't stir them with talks about US being the greatest country. The same is true for our neighbors (Indonesia and Malaysia). I've been to Saudi, Dubai and Bahrain and the people also dreams of lasting peace in other Muslim countries. An Arabian told me, "War is trouble. I want to keep myself and my family safe."
  5. It's tough but you have to make a choice or you might end up losing both of them. Although not common, you're case requires finding yourself and looking at it in both ways. In one way or another, you will lose one of the two. Think about it at the same time, think more than a few years ahead. Your choice, Sue or Bob, will define you. So the best advice I can give is go find yourself and find it fast. So as not to waste Bob's time and Sue's.

    Hello

Welcome back, Bloodtake. I joined this forum a while ago, stopped, then came back when it was about to change its name to Xisto.
  7. Dual Sim Phones aren't really that bad. I've used more than 2 phones that can accomodate 2 SIMs. Cherry Mobile S10T and a SamSung (I forgot the exact model number.)From my experience with using them, both SIMs are actually active at the same time. So you can receive calls or text messages on both phones. Unless, you're talking to someone on the first SIM when someone calls you on the 2nd SIM. You can also specify what Ringtone or Message alert tone to use for each of the SIM. Switching from one SIM to another is a breeze. Every time you create a text message, you are ask what SIM will be used SIM 1 or SIM 2. I get a laugh when I look at the signal bars (2 of them- a green and a blue) on the phone's interface. Dual SIMs is the thing of the past with the introduction of a 3-SIM phones. (My sister texted me earlier this morning that she has seen a new phone capable of handling 3 SIMs at the same time.
  8. The easiest way to do that is to use the RSS Feeds of your other sites (wordpress and/or blogger) and make it visible on the landing page of you post aggregator website. It's relatively easy, there are hundreds of plugins, codes and tutorials available out there.
  9. Yes, I would agree with WD. You need to post more information on what type of website or where you want to make it or making it. The people here will be very much willing to help you out. Once you provide those information, you'll see pages after pages of steps on how to make the site.
  10. I didn't know Honour Killing is also rampant in some parts of India. I did read about Honour Killing in Iraq. The common victims are women, of course. For some reason, girls should be virgin or they get killed. I understand that media or television is an unreliable source so I'll ask some of you who have direct knowledge of it. Is wife-burning (I'm sorry, I'm not so sure of the exact term.) also rampant? I've read about it a few years back in National Geographic.
  11. Yes, it's possible but it depends on the router that you have. I'm familiar with Linksys routers and there are some routers that have QOS (Quality of Service) feature. With QoS, you can switch the priority level of users, applications and ports on all computers connected to your network. However, most SOHO (Small Office, Home Office) routers don't allow you to specify the bandwidth usage. Instead you are only given HIGH or LOW priority. First check if your router supports QoS. I'm sure it's mentioned in the router's tech spec. For setting up QoS, you may need to set a static IP Address on the your cousin's computers. Or if your router allows it, you can do it just by specifying the MAC Address of your cousin's computer. There might be other ways to do it but since you mentioned having a router, I would recommend looking at this option first. So I can give you more information about this, please provide more information like your routers Brand and Model Number.
  12. Hi, Kababayan! Welcome to Xisto, GianFaye. Enjoy your stay. You'll love it here, for sure.
  13. Hey, Kababayan. Welcome dito sa Knowledgesutra. I've been a member since 2007 siguro. Nawala tapos bumalik.

    Anyway.. enjoy.

  14. Deadmad is right. It works in netbooks. I'm currently playing the game in an MSI Wind12 U230. It loads smoothly and works with amazing graphics. As for the game, I love it. It reminds me of Diablo. I heard it was made by the same group of people behind Diablo. I'm currently in Waygate 4. I haven't read any walkthroughs or guide so I have no idea until what waygate it will be. My little brother also loves this game. He played it for almost 24 hours.
  15. In theory, 3G should be faster than EDGE. I use a 3G modem when I'm not at home. Recently, I noticed that switching from 3G to EDGE is beneficial during peak hours. This may have something to do with how 3G is shared in a node. I'm not sure though but this is what I observed so far. I also noticed that EDGE is more stable than my 3G connection. From what I can think of, most people use 3G that its connection degrades during peak hours. While EDGE maintains its speed because of smaller numbers of people hooked into it. Or it could also be on how local 3G providers implement the technology.
  16. I learned some PHP by looking at WordPress theme codes and looking it up at google. After some time, I was able to make my own plugin for SilverStripe. Didn't update it, though. Now, I have enough (barely little) PHP knowledge to help me with designing WordPress themes. Currently, I'm learning more through php.net and w3schools. I would also recommend install XAMPP in your computer so it's easier to play around with codes.
  17. If you want to make sure that all the files that will be transferred are secure, it's best to setup a VPN (Virtual Private Network) instead. You only need to buy some USD 45.00+ VPN router. With a VPN network setup, you're not even limited to that half-mile distance. You can be anywhere in the world and have direct access to your network for file sharing, updates, etc.
  18. Oh my. Misinformation. Water will never be able to power a car nor is it any good when used in a hybrid engine unless you can create a super-machine that could violate the first and second law of thermodynamics. Electrolysis is required to break water apart into Hydrogen and Oxygen. So-called "Water-Fueled Cars" claims to be able to break water into hydrogen and oxygen. These produces are then allowed to react (Boom!) and energy is released for piston engines to move. Step 1: Dissociate Water into Hydrogen and Oxygen by applying electrical energy (electrolysis).Step 2: Allow the dissociated Hydrogen and Oxygen to react again to release energy. The problem is this: The energy required to break it into Hydrogen and Oxygen (Step 1) is the same as the energy that will be produced during the reaction between the produced water and release energy (Step 2). If such engine/machine is or has been created, good news! We now have a machine that can cycle an energy without losing any of it. Still, it's useless because it's just like using Steps 1 and 2 as a way to transfer energy or to play with energy not use it. But such machine will never be available for the next 100 years or so. And even if it's available, we still have no use of it other than mess with the energy. Another problem arises, there isn't 100% water. All contains particulate matter, some dissolved substances, etc. This means that more energy may be used to break water into hydrogen and oxygen. The energy released in step 2 will be exactly (or almost exactly) the same as the energy used to break water into hydrogen and oxygen WITHOUT the dissolved substances. So by using the available water, more energy is used than produced. A loss which means negative energy on useless machine. Fuel cells. Most fuel cells are run by using the energy produced by the water formation reaction using hydrogen and oxygen. (Step 2) However, the sources isn't water. Hydrogen are derived from alcohol or hydrocarbon and oxygen from air. Our best hope? Bicycle! Lol.
  19. Welcome to Xisto, QZilver. Post your way to hosting. Just keep an open mind as you'll encounter some who has a completely opposite idea/stand/opinion as you do. Enjoy!

    Best Mp3 Player?

I use my mobile phone (motorola Rokr) as my mp3 player. I don't see the need to buy a separate device if my phone can do it.

  22. Oh. I remember a similar discussion about Humans reaching Intergalactic civilization. It was discussed by theoritical physicist, Michio Kaku. Apparently, Civilizations are classified mainly on its energy source. From what I understand, scientists differentiates civilizations into three types: Type 1: Planetary Civilizations: Civilizations that can control everything within a planet (the weather, earthquakes, etc.). They harness the planet's energy to its full potential. Type 1 civilizations has a single youth culture, run by a central government, one primary language, etc..Type 2: Stellar Civilizations: They've exhausted the energy of the planet so they harness their energy directly from the mother star. They use the power of the sun itself to energize their machines. Eventually, they use up the energy of the star. Considered immortal. Nothing known to science can destroy a Type 2 civilization. They can move their home planet or control a supernova. (Star Trek)Type 3: Galactic Civilization: They harness the power of billions of stars within a galaxy. Will have the ability to control the fate of a galaxy. (The Empire)According to them, we are still Type 0 (not on the rate). We obtain our energy from dead plants, oil and coal. And they think that we will reach Type in a century. Sings of a type 1 civilization is the Internet (Central form of communication), European Union to oppose NasDaq (Type 1 Economy - huge planetary trading blocks), English (Probable Type 1 Language), Holywood, Rock n Roll, Rap Music (Type 1 Culture). Hence, we're still on the brink of the transition. They think that the transition from Type 0 to Type 1 is the most dangerous. It's integration versus WMDs, terrorisms, and other obstacles that hinders the integration of our multicultured planet. So it seems that becoming a Type 3 civilization (galactic) will require more. Much much more.
  23. First, check your WAN IP Address. I hope your ISP provided you with a Static IP Address, otherwise you have to set up DynDNS. koolazngy94 is right. Base on the IP Address you provided, you're behind a router. The router's firewall may block the port being used by CSS (port 27015). Before you can activate port forwarding, you need to assign a static IP Address on your server. The final network set up should look like this. CSS Server (Static LAN IP)------------->Router(Forwarded 27015) WAN IP-----------------Internet--------------PlayersMake sure that you provide the correct WAN IP Address to the players. You can ask your ISP for your WAN IP or check it by visiting https://www.whatismyip.com/. *For most cases, ISPs provide their customer with Dynamic WAN IP Address. This means that your WAN IP Address changes after, say, 24 hours. For such cases, disconnect may occur during the change of IP Address and you will have to provide the new IP Address to your player everytime it changes. You have 2 options, you can either apply for a Static IP Address from your ISP or try signing up for services like DynDNS.org.
  24. I'm not Indian but I'm enjoying your discussion and I want to hear more about your politics. From what I understand, Indian politikos are dirty, ours too are. So we might have some similarity. Anyway, keep on discussing. I just to tell you that someone from another part of the world is interested in your discussion.
  25. Thank you for the comments, web_designer. Added your site to my blogroll. This is the product of learning everything from scratch..took me 3 years, though. ModXCMS and WordPress. You're a really good designer and coder. Give me another 3 years and I'll reach your level of competence. You nailed it. I can't keep myself from posting unrelated topics. But in process of making it a real art blog. You got me into completing some life drawing and posting in on the site. Thanks.
