Part Of My Site Is Still Suspended [resolved]
GamerGlitch replied to GamerGlitch's topic in Web Hosting Support
Thank you for the suggestion, sir (Opaque). I went into Core (my FTP program) and in, indeed, the .htaccess file existed, I deleted it, and now the site is fine. -
Freehostingnow.com Another free web host?
GamerGlitch replied to Imtay22's topic in General Discussion
I would check it out just because I'm adventurous and always looking for the best hosting service (Xisto at the moment). However, I would take caution and register under a separate email to avoid spamming and such. I;ve found a lot of good hosts in the past, so I give a equal opportunity to all hosts out there. Don't read a book by its cover, and don;t accuse someone before they have been proven guilty is in a way my mind set to these Free Web Services. -
I had to do a project based on information form that site as part of my Middle School Health Class. Good information, thank you for sharing this source.

My site, http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ was suspended, however, I earned the credits to bring it back, and a couple hours later it came back. However, the http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ is sill, for some reason, suspended. Please unsuspend it, this problem has lasted me all week.

Review My New Site Critique and criticise
GamerGlitch replied to downsy007's topic in Websites and Web Designing
I like it. It has a nice simple layout, and seems to be owrking correctly. However, it is in need of boards, and content (which I assume you will get with joining members). -
I've only created a couple of Blogs during my Web Creation Career. However, I used Blogger.com and it was good to me. Pretty easy to use and what not, too.

People Who Don't Punish Their Children are bad parents
GamerGlitch replied to Mermaid711's topic in The Vent
Yeah, even though I am a bit envious of the children who never get in trouble, and can do whatever they want I do believe punishment needs t o be a factor in parenting. When you don't teach of punishment, and children start believing life is a game it sets up a negative example of the real world. If you go out on the streets and disobey an officer your going to get into some serious trouble, Laws aren't games, and even though this is a far bent example, it demonstrates a point. -
The Xbox 360 is amazing. Not only does the Microsoft Xbox 360 compete with the Sony Playstaion 3 for the best graphics it has more, and better titles than the PlayStation 3. The Xbox 360 is also very cheap (when compared to the PS3), and the repair and refund services are wonderful.

I've never used InvisionFree. However, with PHPBB, I have easily installed a shout box (called Ajax Shout box, not sure if they have it for InvisionFree). It is very nice and customizable. I have set it so only registered users have access to it and when you shout it uses your User name associated with the forums.

Dogs are, in my opinion, the best kind of pets. Not only are they mans best friends, they can also serve as a good form of protection. Cats are also good companions, I guess, but they odn;t have the protection factor and, in the past, have annoyed me, with hairballs and throwing up.

Magnatune.com An alternative way to buy music
GamerGlitch replied to rvalkass's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Sounds interesting. However, I think this could become controversial. Artists, or the production companies they are affiliated with should set the price of a product, people should not get the choice. Although this is better than free music over Peer to Peer Networks it may still cause losses for artists. -
Laptop Purchase Advice need some help here, please
GamerGlitch replied to megabytemb's topic in General Discussion
Yeah, Alienware's are overpriced (You could build something for a lot cheaper), but they are simply amzing, and if you can afford one than it's all you. Man, I've always wanted an Alienware. -
I just use shampoo and conditioner and never have had a problem with Dandruff.

I have no knowledge on this subject. However, I do believe getting into Google would be a very hard task. But, if you do manage to get in, I doubt you would regret it, all the money they make has to go some where.

I play by myself. In Gears of War I hate Clans, most of them go around in Ranked matches thinking they are the best. Usually they win and continue bragging and saying how good they are. However, the only reason they are winning in ranked is because they have past experience playing with each other. Ranked is a place where I like being matched with people I've never played with before, and the other team should have to do the same. Any ways I'm better than most clan member anyway, and if you want me to prove it I'll one on one you my gamertag is BenNeedsTalent.

How Turbo Charger Works Turbocharger
GamerGlitch replied to musicfreak's topic in General Discussion
Thank you for sharing, I never knew exactly how a Turbo Charger works. Also, what is the difference between a Turbo Charger and a Super Charger? I have never attempted to figure out that myself, so please shine some light on the subject. -
Michael Vick To Plead Guilty For His Role In Dog Fights
GamerGlitch replied to Saint_Michael's topic in General Discussion
I was just at a formal dinner sort of thing when I heard more about Michael Vick. The dinner was a fund raiser for my schools football team, so Pro Athletes were invited to autograph whatever and to give inspiration. They brought up Michael Vick's case saying it is something you should never do. Why ruin a Professional football career, or temporarily suspend it, for dog fighting. The professional by the name of Bubba said sometimes you need to choose who you hang out with, and drop misleading friends. Obviously, Michael Vick never heard this kind of speech, and now he must pay for his actions. I think his contract was over 100 million dollars, so if the team decides to lower it, because of his action I say they should shave some of it off and put it in my piggy bank :XD:. -
Haha, he sounds like a Pimp, however, as Soviet said, not in a good way. If he has the money, every thing would be fine, however, I seriously doubt he has the money to pay for 100 children. My mom can barely afford me and my brother, just think if we had 98 more siblings, we'de have to sell the house and that would only last so long.

I Need Recipes That Are Easy And Very Quick To Make
GamerGlitch replied to velma's topic in Health & Fitness
Alright, if you want something quick and easy go for Easy Mac, who doesn't love that stuff? I also like Pizza Roles and Hot Pockets. The recipe for Pizza Roles and Hot Pockets are the simplest, all you must do is get them out and put them in a microwave or oven (microwave for shorter time, oven for longer, I personally think the oven make them taste better). -
I always thought those kind of sites were scams, I guess I was wrong after all. Also, do you have to spend all day on the web to make that kind of money, how much time do you put in?

Peer-to-peer An article I wrote for my college mag
GamerGlitch replied to angad619's topic in General Discussion
That's a good article, very simple and concise. I love P2P, the software including it is probably my favorite type of Software . Although, a lot of P2P software does have its downfalls (Filled with trojans, viruses, and spy ware), I think Peer-to-Peer needs to stay and continue to grow, and now with the newer malicious free programs this is rarely an issue (especially when compared to the original Kazaa). I love P2P!
