Myspace.com who has it, likes, dislikes, etc.
GamerGlitch replied to mzwebfreak's topic in Websites and Web Designing
In the beginning Myspace was awesome. It was a place for communication and meeting people. However, then came the Era of Myspace whoring, if you've been at Myspace you;ll know what I'm talking about. Myspace whoring wasn't really that bad, at least not as bas as it sounds. A Myspace *BLEEP* is just some one trying to have a large number of friends, not someone involved in illegal sexual activities or anything of the sort as you might of guessed. Any ways, this Myspace whoring idea of every one trying to have so much friend led to *BLEEP* trains. *BLEEP* trains are also not what they sound like. *BLEEP* trains were seperate website (not hosted on Myspace) that would allow you to join a train and then advertise yourself in bulletin posts, as well as all other people in the trains. This is when Myspace took it;s first step downhill. See, every one, or what seemed liek every one, became a *BLEEP*, we all just wanted friends. So the bulletin boards were now flooded with these obnoxious *BLEEP* trains, and Myspace started to slow down. It got very slow quickly. However, this whoring and what not faded away once people got a grip on their lives and realized adding a bunch of random people to see how many friends you could get was a waster of their lives and an invasion of their privacy. A little bit of whoring still goes on, but not nearly as much, now we are faced with the second, and worse crises of Myspace. I though Myspace was all good, whoring was leaving, and the site became rather fast again. Then, all these bulletins of porn a,d spam came. This was not just spam, though, fake Myspace's and other phony sites were being posted in bulletins to extract Myspace user data. With these fake sites being made the people had success in phishing the passwords of many Myspace users. They would steal the accounts of the users they phished and further promote what they were doing. Since they would post stuff on your friends accounts you would receive the bulletins, and since they were your friend you would generally trust them This led to even more spam and accounts stolen. Soon enough Myspace was flooded with phished accounts displaying advertising on them, trying to lure other users to give in as well. After a long time of this ruckus the moderators at Myspace freed many of the accounts and tried to prevent the phishing. Myspace has almost gotten rid of the spam, however there is still a bit today. But, with this little bit of spam many users have turned to alternate surfaces such as Facebook. Even though Myspace has gone down, from the beginning to end, it is currently on an upward swing, finally. That is pretty much the history of Myspace and where it currently is, however there is a point I would like to conclude this with. I believe Mysapce has no privacy issues. Many people feel Myspace is legible for their problem. IS it really their fault though? When you sign up for Myspace you are in charge of what happens, don;t blame Myspace if an older man is trying to seduce you, block him, if you don;t than it is your fault, and your alone. Many people say Myspace needs better moderation, but do you think you could do any better, look at the numbers. 188,830,876, yep, that's the user count there, not unique because some people have multiple accounts, but you get the idea, that;s a lot of people. To many people to be controlled. That's all I have to say about Myspace.Sorry about the bleeps, I was saying w h o r e trains, that is what they were called. -
I don't see why are you upset about it. If she wants people to know she is bisexual then that's all her. Do you feel uncomfortable because you don't want to be seen with some one of another sexuality and are embarrassed. I don't think you should be, you need to stick up for your cousin, she may need you, if worse come to worse.

Actually a lot of people were involved in the movement, don;t get me wrong, I know there were fakes. However, some people, one example Bon Jovi, are for the effort, and helped plan the whole event out. And eve if the people weren't originally for saving mother nature and our selves they have either joined the effort, or were forced to during the day. They were forced to so they could look good in front of the crowd, and most had to use Bio-diesel, and other alternatives to reduce pollution. Bedsides, even though some of the people aren't for Global Warming relief, and the effort, the Event as the whole and all the artists came together to make it a great multi concert.

Paris Hilton, it's really an easy decision. Paris Hilton has a lot more money, and she also has a normal area of which we don't speak of. Britney Spears private part (below the waste) is just weirdly deformed. Also, Paris seems to be in better shape, Brittney looks like shes gaining weight by the day. Also Brittney Spears went out with Kevin Federline (also known as K-Fed), with a record like that she is just too embarrassing. Paris might act dumb, and she might well be, but she has more money, and is less embarrassing, in my opinion, than Brittney Spears, she is my choice. I would probably even marry Paris to see how it went. If I didn't I would get a divorce, because of the stereotypes, I could just divorce here and run away with all the money, because she's supposedly dumb, and would forget to sign the Prenup. I used to love Brittney when she was just first emerging as an artist, she was really beautiful and had a lot of talent, now shes she shear nothingness, lost every thing she had, I doubt she has any vocal talent left and the prettiness she once had has disappeared.

Okay, so the Live Earth Concert, sponsored by Al Gore was today. I guess it was held today because it is 7/7/2007, 7 being a lucky number (I guess?) it was a very lucky date, indeed. At first, I thought it wasn't going to be that special of an event, nor fun to watch but it included so many artists of different genres, it was hard not to enjoy, it had a little bit of everything so every one could enjoy it, whatever music you like there is a good chance it was in this event. If you think I'm playing about how many artists were involved in the event here's the list which also has the performance areas... Each concert was filled to the brim with people. Supposedly 2 million people took part in the event, either by viewing it, embracing the one of the concerts first hand, or playing in the concerts. How did you guys feel about this event? More information on this event can be found on these sites... http://www.liveearth.org/ http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Notice from jlhaslip: lists require quote bbcode tags, as per the readme file.

Ut3 - 2007 - Information, Screenshots And More (links)
GamerGlitch replied to lihuyt's topic in Computer Gaming
I hope Unreal Tournament 3 is going to be better than Gears of War. I used to think Unreal Tournament 2004 was the best game ever, however, when I purchased my Xbox 360 and got Gears of War I realized it was a game of much higher caliber. Since both games are created by the same people, Epic, and are using the same Engine, I know it will be close, but can anything beat Gears of War? Also, when will this be released, I was told June a while ago, and that month has gone and passed. I've also heard rumors of interact multi play between Xbox 360 user and the PC, not the Playstation 3 (PS3), though because it's so different. It wouldn't be too impossible to create interplay with the Xbox 360 and the PC (Windows, not sure about Macintosh, or Apple computers), though because they are both Microsoft related. Do you guys know anything about these issues? -
Okay, I'm not sleeping tonight. Haha, just kidding, that is a bit odd though. Do you guys think there is any sort of fire proof solution the people could have sprayed so the paintings didn't burn? Also, why would any one own a picture like that, they are just,... well, very depressing.

What do you use to create your music. I have slight experience with Fruityloops, not really creating music, but beats. I could never create the perfect rap beat with well sounding bass though

My Name Is - Self Introduction and im addicted to...
GamerGlitch replied to pylorusrock's topic in Introductions
Alright, even though I'm not new here ( I've been here for a week ) I don't think I properly introduced myself. My name is Ben, and I've been working on websites for a while. I've done websites on Gaming site, Dragon ball Z site, and sites on many other ideas. I have experience under, not only web design (with Dreamweaver), but also with graphic design using the popular image editor, Photoshop. Not getting too personal, that is a pretty vague biography of myself. -
What kind of website would have the highest pay off in advertising? I currently have a gaming site and the Pay Per Click (PPC) rates are not too high at all. Becasue of this I was thinking abourt opening another site, something with higher Pay Per Click ammounts.

Free Domain Name Free Domain for Life.
GamerGlitch replied to OpaQue's topic in Alerts, News & Announcements
This is the first 100% free hosting I've ever seen, way to go Xisto! I now wish I hadn't bought my hosting from GoDaddy. Even though it was cheap, I could've gotten it for free. -
Learn Html Quick And Easy HTML, javascript, and CSS
GamerGlitch replied to etycto's topic in Websites and Web Designing
I learned HTML by using Dream weaver, the web design program, I would look at the source code after visually creating the page, and it didn't take that long to catch on to the basic tags (examples: HTML, BODY, HEAD). -
I've been getting good loading times here at Xisto, however, my old host was a it faster (50webs). I think that is because it lacked so many services found here at Xisto such as PHP. MySQL and many more.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure you can start out with the better plan for 30 credits. However, if you're like me, you'll end up using 55 credits in total. This is because first I got the started plan (10 credits), then I changed domains (15 credits), and finally, now I have to upgrade to the better plan.

That is interesting. However, I could probably find a lot of statistics that add up to another number, like 2 or something. I do think, though, that the terrorists did it on the date 9/11 becasue that is the Police hot line, I believe that is the only now coincidental fact.

Is the LG Chocolate a good phone, besides you having to get it repaired and all?

I like First Person Shooters (FPS), however, I also enjoy Sport games, though, and a good number of racing games. I started like First Person shooters the most when Unreal Tournament 2003 was out, I got the demo and ever since then, that has been my favorite category of gaming. In the First Person Shooter cxategory I also enjoy games such as Gears of War and Halo 2, even though Gears of war isn't quite a FPS.

I still remember my first website. Though I don't recall the URL, I know it was hosted by my Internet Service Provider (Time Warner Cable / Roadrunner). The website was based on Dragon ball Z a popular anime cartoon show, some of you may know. I made the site back when the show was on Fox (the Television Station) at 6:00 in the morning (A.M.), before it switched over to Cartoon Network and was played in the afternoon. I watched every episode back in those day's didn't miss a single one. This may sound childish, that I based my website on this topic, but there is a reason for that. That reason is simple to explain; I was a child! My first website didn't have too much success, in fact little at all. I don't think I received even 100 hits (page views). I do remember my counter had a high count, though, becasue I would continually refresh the page, and of course all the times I refreshed the page it would count as a hit becasue cookies were not used, or at least not widely used, or used too much. The only people that ever saw this site were some of my other friends, one;s who liked the show (Dragon ball Z) as well. I think the reason the site never got many hits is becasue of the very simplistic layout (but what sites back then had nice layouts?), it was just images in tables, and text, the whole site a product of Microsoft Word, but I didn't care much for site layout, I was proud of my first website. The site never spread becasue I never promoted it, I was new to web site publishing, I didn't know much yet. The next sites I made were Habbo Hotel (Ian online, massive multilayer shock wave game) fishing sites, not good, I know, just sharing my website history story. In these Habbo Hotel phishing sites I would just have an email form. However, I would disguise the form to look legible, and say if you filled out the form you could get Haboo Credits, the currency in the game. The form would have the fields, user name, password, email , and how many credits you wanted. I advertised the my phishing site inside Habbo Hotel's interactive chat rooms (you would have to check it out to know what I''m talking about). The site must of loked a bit legible becasue many users of Habbo tossed over there account login information (User name, Password, and Email). With the login information (it was sent to my email address) I would sign into the other users accounts and trade all the items the possessed to my account. Once my parents found out about all of this I got in a good amount of trouble, not just because stealing is morally wrong, but becasue in a way what I was doing was actually illegal. This is becasue Habbo Hotel actually charges money for the in game, virtual credits, so when I stole people's account, and their virtual possessions , I was, in a way stealing bits of real money, becasue the people I scammed actually had to pay real money for the items I took for them. Any how, after I got in trouble with my parent's I could no longer play Habbo Hotel for a while, so I moved onto other site ideas. The next kind of sites I made were flash game sites. At this time I actually started working with site layout, and I believe by this time I had already received Dream weaver (version 4), as a Christmas gift, as my parents had realized my liking for building websites. However, even though, I started improving my site layouts, none of these sites were successful. I kept practicing, though, my skills still improving, and after a while I made my first dot com address, there were a lot of minor sites I forget about, but they are unimportant. Anyways, my first dot com site was Bensmedia (bensmedia.com). It is still in existence and is a multimedia site with jokes, games, video, pickup lines, etc. I got this website to Page Rank 1, sadly, a record. I stopped updating the site after a couple months due to boredom and then I stopped working on sites for a while. Bensmedia.com, unfortunately never got too many hits, there were to many pages like it, too many better than it, with more in going links. After this site I had my Google scandals, I abused the Terms of Service, I'll tell you about it. This was in the greatest times of Myspace.com, before all the phishing, when people were afraid to lose their accounts, becasue they were addicted. Because people were so afraid to lose their account I made a page that said if they clicked a simple, Google advert, they would safely keep their account, and they did, I made over $400 in the first month. Sadly, before the O received the money my account got shutdown, canned. Ever since this time I could not go back to Google, i cannot get accepted, I think they may have logged my IP address, so now I use Bidvertier, a different publishing program. This brings me to the present, today, my newest site, GamerGlitch.com. I chose a much more specific topic for this site, Game Glitching, a topic unknown by many, but its basically errors in a game script, causing exploits in the game. GamerGlitch is still Google page rank 0, but it get;s very good traffic, 3,000 hits a day on average. This is the most successful site I've had. This is all I can think of about my Websites history / story.

The Most Most Most Annoying Website Ever Made In World
GamerGlitch replied to Evil Guy's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Ha, that wasn't much fun, very annoying, indeed. However, if you hold the Enter key you can fly through all the pop up boxes very swiftly. -
If you knew you were going to die, and it was your last day to live, what would you do? If I knew it were my last day I would try to do as many things I had never experienced before. This includes skydiving, water jet skying, snowboarding, bungee jumping and much more. Also, before I left, I would say good bye to all my family, especially my Mother, Father, and Brother (assuming they were all still alive).

I need a connection like that. I have an alright connection, sort of fast right now, Time Warner Cable (Road Runner), but it could always use improvement.

What Is The Best Way To Make Money Online?
GamerGlitch replied to GamerGlitch's topic in Business Forum
Yeah, I know what it meant. What I meant, however, is what kind of domains would you set up, as in the URL's, like yahoo.com or something of the sort? Give me some examples as I may use this as a future scheme, also , do you have any experience with this? -
I don't like the fact that so many of them (illegal immigrants) are living in the United States either. However, to look at the positive side, becasue it looks like most of the negative points have been covered, a lot of these aliens are doing some of the hardest jobs in America. Many of them do yard work, roof work, etc. All manual work. And without them, since their are so many, there could be shortages. Plus, the more people doing laborious jobs equals competition, competition equals lower rates, and competitive pricing. So what all this means is that we can get our Roofs, or manual work, which many of us are too lazy to do ourselves, for cheaper prices. And, what, if all of them left, the jobs they filled would suddenly go empty, the supply would lower (The amount of people who could perform the labor jobs), but the demand wouldn't change, it would cost us more to get or Roofs, etc. done. Also, many of these aliens are nice poeple, and what if you were born in Mexico, a third world country, wouldn't you have an urge to live in America, as well. I know if I was born there I would sure as heaven jump that fence, or find another way here, to America, land of the free, home of the brave. If you think about it, all them breaking into our country illegally is sort of flattering

Yeah. Google's the best, hands down. I'm currently using Bidvertiser (my Google got suspended) and it's doing fine, the Pay Per Click rate isn't the best, only around $0.12 (the Average) but that's fine for a Gaming Site ( I think :/ ). Some of the advertisements aren't related to the content though, which is a minor problem, but overall Bidvertiser has been a good experience. I've tried Clicksor before, and still have an account there. However, I didn't really pay attention to how well done their services were (Pay Per Click Rate, etc.) I think I may, soon, re apply for Google, with hopeful success.
