I'd like to add to fsastraps' tutorial. With his code, the message box will be the first thing that appears in your 404 page. This is really bad for you if you have something else that you want to show first on the page. In my "mini-tutorial", I will show you how to position your 404 error anywhere on your page! I don't think that's possible because cPanel is a software that Xisto purchased, and I do not believe cPanel is open source. However, you can go to http://cpanel.com/ to learn for about cPanel and its features. -

Well, it's not very surprising that you could store media on the PSP, right? I mean, the PSP was designed so you not only can play games, but you also can store pictures, music, and videos...or at least, that's what I've heard about the new console. -

Damann, I'd appreciate it if you don't triple post. Adding your comments after your sigs are good enough...you don't have to post the sig, and make another post for the comments. Now, if you wait a day or so and no one has answered, then it's okay to double post, but in your case, the time frame was around 5 minutes. -_-Back to the subject now. The sig above this one looks better, but it's not original like Johnny's sigs, so Johnny wins again.

It's a lot faster to upload through file transfer protocol than it is to do it the http way. The reason for this is they words "file transer". You are transferring files which means that you can select as many files as you want and "drop" them into your directory at Xisto. With File Manager in cPanel, you can only upload 12 files at the same time, and this can really be a burden and waste of time if you have files from different directories that you want to upload. With WS_FTP, you have the power to transfer files from ANY directory in your computer in Batch mode.FTP is also a lot easier compared to File Manager because all you are really doing is selecting the files you want to upload, and moving (drag and drop) to your directory. With File Manager, you have to BROWSE for the files.FTP programs are also convenient because most have the ability to do things with many files with one click. An example of this is changing file permissions. If you are going to manually install a program on your website such as a gallery, a blog, or a content management system like phpnuke, you will need to change file permissions to allow certain programs to write, execute, and read or else your program will not function correctly. Another example of this is moving files, or copying files. With File Manager in cPanel, you are only able to move or copy files one at a time. This is horrible because what if you only have a limited amount of time? You would not be able to finish your job. Well, with an FTP client, you can move files or copy files as if those files were on your computer.

Really? 500 posts? I remember that I was able to edit my member title when I had less than 500 posts because I've been doing it as long as I can remember, and I don't have that many posts above 500....maybe that's because I was made a moderator when I had 300-ish posts...

I use Gallery for mine (it's in fantastico, too, but I downloaded my version from their website - gallery.sourceforge.net). Installation is a breeze - install from Fantastico into a directory of your choice. Then, if you installed Gallery in a directory called /images/ under your domain, you'd need to go to histology-world.com/images/setup to set everything up. And don't worry about not understanding PHP and such because setup is very user friendly.

Better, but not quite there. Your real sig, however, is "there" because the colors match and everything...The blue sig you just made seems like it was done in 5 minutes which is awesome, but you can tell it was done in 5 minutes because the glare at the top really looks like a division line where the colors on the bottom are darker than the colors on the top. Also, the contrast of the text at the bottom left does not quite blend...Bah, I just like your real sig better.

I'm not sure, but I'll take a stab at it. If you look at the logo of Xisto at the top left corner on every page in the forum, you'll see trap 17. Now, look at the "17" closely. What does it look like? To me, it looks like an "N", so you have "trap n", or "trap in". It makes sense because the members keep coming back for more. That's my guess, but I'll be interested to know how OpaQue really thought of it. -
Your 404 page is very mean. Nice and catchy music, but mean. Why? It took me a good 5 minutes to realized that it repeats itself.

If you want to edit your post, simply report your post, explain your situation, and we will be glad to edit it for you. Hurley, it will not take you long at all to install phpBB because it comes with this forum. First, log into your cpanel at yourdomain.trap17.com/cpanel and find "phpBB" at the bottom. Then, follow the instructions to set up phpBB on your site! Simple. Good luck and have fun with your hosting. -
Hmm, I'm not sure about this one, but you could try "link:yoursite.com" at Google search. Go to google.com and type in link:yoursite.com where yoursite.com is the URL or domain of your site. I've tried it with mine, but got no results because my site is not as popular. However, if you try a big name site such as Xisto.com, then you will get quite a few results. Finding out who links to you via search engines are not very efficient because if you think about it, a person could link to you and you will not eveven be aware because their site could be so small. You know what I mean?
