icemarle, your web hosting application, if you choose to stay with us, will definately not take more than 48 hours to be accepted. Trust me. I was accepted in less than 30 minutes after submitting my application. As for your uni.cc problem, yes, we do accept uni.cc because we have cPanel which gives you complete control over your account. Suggestions?? Who needs it! Xisto offers the best hosting without going all out, so you can bet your last dollar that Xisto is here to stay.

Nice. It's a little too bright for me, though. Are you a girl, or do you just love pink? I was going to try piloting pink for my site, but people at my school will call me names, so I refrained. Maybe I should do it for Valentines Day and April Fools day...who knows.Anyways, I don't like the PHP Nuke layout a lot (nothing personal), but I just think it's too general. I mean, everyone could just go to cPanel, and install it on their site.Other than that, I give your site a 7/10 (the PHPNuke brought it down).

JavaScript and advertisement is perfectly legal according to Xisto rules. Unless those are pornographic or warez, then it's a different story.Anyways, I think more information is needed here. For example, what page are you trying to put it on (what is its URL)? What's the code? Where are you trying to put the code in the site?

Wow. Much difference. A border could spice things up a little, but I give you an 8/10.

Hey Daniel. Welcome to Xisto!Photography, eh? We have a moderator here who's a photographer: whyme. Give him a PM. I think he'll be glad to see that you have the same interest as he. :lol:Once again, welcome, and enjoy your stay here.

I'm moving this to the securies and exploits forum because I think this is a security issue. :lol:I don't use MSN, Yahoo, or any other IM services, so I don't have to worry about this. Oh, and Powerpoint is not installed on my computer.

Mr. Maniac, even though I don't like the US and its leader very much, I'd have to say your sig is decent. It's simple, but you can make it look a little better. For starters, you can make the red in "Proud to be an American" another color because it's kind of hard to miss. That's all I have to say.

Crash, your search ends here: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ I'm closing this thread...post all questions in that thread instead, so people can find them all easier.

Possible New Design. comments please
snlildude87 replied to dontmaimyourself's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Nice simple site. I like simple sites, so I like yours. I like the banner at the top, and I like the fact that you used CSS to position everything instead of tables. Nice job. :)One thing I'd recommend is not to center the text in your content. It makes everything seem out of place... -
Not necessarily. Different browsers have different HTML rendering engines. The better the engine -> the faster it will execute markups. Because Firefox is open source, many advanved programmers are able to contribute their code to improve Firefox or to make Firefox's engine less convoluted. In other words, Internet Explorer's is not open source, so people cannot point out bugs and such that slow down Internet Explorer.

That's your problem. Norton Antivirus is not only a terrible virus scanner (92 percent detection rate), but it is also a resource hog. Don't believe me? I found this post on another forum where this guy tested Norton along with a variety of other virus scanners and found that, surprisingly, Norton and McAfee were not the best virus scanners. Forum: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ I'd recommend that you switch to Kaspersky as your virus scanner because it takes up less resources and it has the best detection rate (99% on both web sites). Updating with Kaspersky is also a breeze - everything is downloaded immediately as one file instead of one million files which makes your life as easy as possible. Also, what is your processor speed, processor model, hard drive usage, and RAM (MB)? One last thing, press ctrl+alt+del right now, and tell me how many processes you are using. That number should be at the bottom left corner of the Windows Task Manager.

You don't get more space for having loads of hosting credits. I know this for a fact because I'm a moderator here (I've read the rules at least twice), and I have 280+ hosting credit days. The reason you don't get more space and bandwidth for having a lot of hosting credits is because it would be a pain to do keep track and implement the plan for ALL "[HOSTED]" users. Instead, the admins created "packages". Package one requires 10 hosting credits (this is about 10 short posts or 3 long, good quality posts), and it will give you 20 MB of space and 500 MB of bandwidth. Package two, on the other hand, requires 5 times for hosting credits than package one, but you get more space and bandwidth - 150 MB and 5 GB, respectively.Hope that answered your question.

You're welcome, daman. Aww, your site is does not deserve a 3/10. I'd give it a 7/10 for its simplicity (I like sites with simple designs because it loads quickly on my dialup connection ). Anyways, one thing that I'd recommend you do is to run your site against a spell checker because that would make your site much more professional looking. Umm, that would be against the Terms of Service of Xisto. Girls / women / females /

Haha, yay!I used to use AIM...a lot until recently I decided that it was interfering in my school work. Also, my computer was running a little slow, so I formatted it, and I never put AIM back on. :lol:Well, I feel sorry for the other people still using AIM. I believe that AIM will lose its popularity over the years which is when I sneak it with my instant messenger program (not yet programmed) and take over the entire IM industry (I hope).

Test Your Reaction Time - Flash Game shoot some sheep
snlildude87 replied to snlildude87's topic in General Discussion
Haha, I wish, but my Flash skillz is like a child playing with fire for the first time - on a good day, I can create some pretty sweet stuff , but on a bad day, I usually end up burning myself. -
Hmm, the site takes me here: http://workbench.cadenhead.org/news/2552/pope-pope-pope. Is that the right location? By the way, serverph, do you happen to be Roman Catholic because you've been on the ball on the papal issues ever since the death of Pope John Paull II. (I'm Catholic ). You're apparently not Catholic, but 1/6 of the world is which is why John Paul II's death was a big deal. Also, JP II was, for most (and for me, too), the only pope people have known for their entire life. When I was born in '87, John Paul II was still the pope, so I have known him for literally my entire life. ...that's a rude remark, and I'm willing to bet that you've never heard him talk. The only reason he "cant talk" is because he's weak. Ever since his attempted assassination, his health has been declining, so that explains his lack of speech. If you've ever listened to his mass, he talks there.... Try not to stray off topic - this is a thread about the new pope, not about your website. There are separate forums designed for that.

How Many Credits Do I Get Per Post? credits per post
snlildude87 replied to sghod1212's topic in Web Hosting Support
If you post is over 300 characters, not words, character, then you will get about 5 hosting credits. If your post is short, like "lol" or "thank you" or "nice", then you will barely get .2 hosting credits. You can check your hosting credits here: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Try not to think about hosting credits when you're posting. Just remember to have fun, be informative, and not to spam. Your hosting credits will soon increase without you even knowing.
