My mother would be proud of you But I think I am to blame for this topic since it is my job to act as medium between OpaQue and the forum And I am so sorry I let you guys down. The thing is that OpaQue is swamped as usual with a lot of work but has been consistently coding the mycent system. As you know, the complications that can arise when playing with programming, OpaQue had to take it super slow to avoid causing members problems. Unfortunately even though we would love to run the script every day, we don't want to lest bugs arise like for example the 0 mycent issue. This is the main reason why we ask members to contact support for an extension instead of having the script run. Come on now, that's not fair. Not all support responses sing the same song. Again this would be my fault since I am required to check your last posts and confirm with the team about the status, since I was AWOL they did their duty of asking you to confirm the location of your posts. They really don't mean to undermine your seniority here or to offend you, its really not their fault. If anyone were to blame, it really would be me. Trust me, all fingers are out OpaQue has developed a new feature in the mycent system. If a post gets unapproved by a moderator/administrator, all credit associated with that post will be deducted. This rule also applies to the following condition :- 1. Spammer A opens a topic 2. User B & C reply to this topic 3. Moderator Unapproves A's topic. End result :- Even B & C will get their credits reduced since the original topic itself is spam. I know I am singing the same song when I say OpaQue is working on the script and is tweaking it but I hope you understand that the script is being actively worked on and the program is run as often as possible. Mrdee reported he was missing credit on a post he wrote on Whitney Houston, this is something we want to avoid which is why the script is not being run. Every time the script is to be run, OpaQue has to be present to catch any bugs/errors not to mention the fact that he has to first test the script and then run it with a risk since other members are involved. I am doing my best to be as regular as possible and hopefully you guys won't be all that upset with either OpaQue or xisto.. He really is doing his best and I don't know how to emphasize that fact strongly.

Man, I hate those bugs.. Here in India, we have a lot of dishes that require different kinds of flour and we often find the flour attacked by bugs & bugs and some more bugs!!!! So annoying, its even worse as it gets hotter here. Your mom was right in adding bay leaves, we add those in the rice & flour.Though there are other remedies too, like salt, garlic, cloves & I think baking soda. I know for certain that mother adds chunks of baking soda in the rice along with the bay leaves to keep the bugs at bay. Since the rice is washed thoroughly, we don't really worry about the taste being hampered but the leaves add a really fine aroma :)I usually spray vinegar around the jar and on the jar itself since, this is really useful but terribly useless against bugs already present in the flour itself (90% of the flour bought usually is already infested with larvae & so on). For small bags of flour, dump it in the freezer and use the amount you need... Maybe I'll ask dear old mother for the exact methods of weevil annihilation... This might sound gross but the flour is pretty salvageable if you pass it through a sieve since you can toss away all the nasties and keep the flour.

Dreams for a long time have fascinated me especially mine since many have been like predictions of events, could be coincidental but...Many of my dreams might have occurred months before but at the time of the event, I remember the dream.. Every one of us has had their moment of predicting their future through their dreams, I am yet to decide whether it really is a prediction or maybe a mental calculation projected as a dream.As long as I am predicting random moments/events, I am pretty fine but when it enters the realms of death, it is not only perturbing but also very depressing. I am not new to dreams of death or dying people... Some of the dreams I've had of loved ones dying has definitely warped my mind for good.I do not expect sympathy or reasoning, having had problems with depression for years.. I have learned to let thoughts out instead of keeping them bottled inside and then have those same thoughts fester. Since I don't have friends I can share with, I decided to let it out here. In my dreams, I always feel like I am an observer yet am the protagonist.. The feeling that people in the dream are talking to me but a part of me is looking over the whole scene from another angle.Like any other Sunday, I decided to sleep in.. I remember two dreams out of the many I had during the night. The first one involved my oldest dog(the dog in my avatar), she was on the sofa that sits in the hall, laying on her side bleeding from what I think is the neck... Heavily bleeding, I could see the pool of blood and people around me including my parents all shocked watching her. Her dead cold eyes simply looked on as I kept stroking her. My parents tried to pull me away from her telling me that she was gone but I was obviously not ready to let go.. I remember then telling someone that she passed away at the age of 8 (her current age).. It is still not known how she died.The second dream was of a man dying, he too was probably dying due to some kind of trauma. He was originally dying in my house on the same sofa that my dog had died.. He was in the last stages of life and for some reason he asked me to take him somewhere, my parents tried to stop but the next thing I remember was that I was sitting on a bench somewhere outside and he had his head on my lap while sleeping on the same bench...The whole time I had my hand on his chest where his heart would be. He spoke something about death and I sat there with hand on heart waiting for the steady beats to stop. There was a moment where it stopped since I could hear nothing but then it slowly started again far too faint to call a heartbeat. He kept telling me that he was dying but I could feel his heartbeat, it was confusing and frustrating to be told that you were dying only to feel that heartbeat. I wish I could remember what he said because I know it was something really deep.Unfortunately that is all I remember and it has left me disturbed . There is nothing in this world that could reassure me when it comes to dreams like these. Especially if they come true.

Yeah, there was a problem with the server and that has been fixed now. The reason the mycents are not yet regular is because like i mentioned in the other topic, it is still in beta testing mode.OpaQue has to review and observe how the new code is working before he can make it happen automatically. I understand your concern in regards to the billing aspect, you can have that solved by sending in a ticket :)So give it a day or two, opaque should have everything tweaked out and then the sytem will be allowed to do its job properly. In the meanwhile, I will ask him to run the script manually so that members can get their earnings.

If you were to plop food onto my dish, I usually eat it whether I like or not. I could probably die eating it but would since it is my plate (I was brought up to eat whatever was given >_<). I love eating, this is something a lot of people I know would vouch for.. If you ain't eating, I probably would have already started eating it lol. My mother has an intolerance for protein like you.. Soya, sprouts or any other vegetarian protein (she doesn't eat meat or eggs) gives her serious cramps... I LOVE what your hubby loves.. There is still awesome indian sabzi or accompaniment that is made out of beans.. I could probably eat it by the kilo. The main reason I am totally against egg nog is because it is made of raw egg... The ironic fact is that I have eaten a lot of raw eggs when I was a teenager... My friends love eating the bone marrow of any given animal.. **shudders** Wow, I hate the taste of that and the liver.. HA HA HA HAHAHAHAH HAHA If you come to India, you'll see that all the food is heavily tainted with masalas and flavors that are generally either spicy or salty.. Though the kashmiri pulao is a sweet rice dish with different veggies & dry fruits (obviously I do not like that either ) As for the fat bit, I totally agree with you, I can't handle fatty portions but only select places will give you rare & medium rare steaks, again every meat here is cooked well done and then some yet remains juicy... **sigh** you should come here for some authentic Indian dishes... Simply to die for. Dogs, guinea pigs and other lovable pets will not be seen on my plate but If I am desperate enough, I would probably eat some weird exotic meat. Eeels... I had it only once and I can probably live my life without wanting it again.. It was an ok experience.. Maybe the restaurant didn't do it right but it didn't really leave a lasting impression for me. And I don't like fresh water fish too, there is always something iffy in the way they taste.. When I originally wrote the topic, I could remember only a few things I disliked but now that I read what others have read... It sort of reminded me of other dishes I don't mind eating but am not all that fond of.

Firstly, you should have received your myCent today . The credit system was indeed undergoing changes, originally we realized that credits had stopped in Xisto so OpaQue decided to recode the script to keep it updated with the latest version of IPB. He switched off the credit system for Xisto a few days ago since he was almost done coding and needed to debug & finalize the script. Today he uploaded the credit system and it is currently under BETA TESTING mode, this is to monitor and fix any more bugs/issues that went unnoticed during the offline testing. Based on the reports Opa gets from the next 2-3 days, he will add the final tweaks and we can open a celebratory bottle of champagne for the new year I think that mundane rumor started because of the moderating module, the moderating module was installed specially to monitor GUEST posts and was for APPROVING/DISAPPROVING guest posts but OpaQue decided to make life easier for me by showing ALL of the posts made on KS/Asta. This way I could find spam posts faster. The mycent system gives credit whether posts are checked at the moderation module or not and it runs as often as needed without taking a day off. Hopefully now people will stop the manual mycent rumor or that a monkey on a typewriter decides the Mycent value

But sticking to the topic, I would say that the most important decision for me to sketch out a routine for better time management. My task list is something that keeps expanding every day and I am not the best at managing my workable hours

90% of my email addresses are by gmail since they do an excellent job of giving you what you need. As for the instant messaging bit, I don't know about since I use softwares like Digsby for messaging. Why is that? Now that google apps has come about, I think its even better since you get the domain name with the gmail interface.

I've always trusted Microsoft for all these kinds of things and I think you should look into one of their products since microsoft would be a much easier product to find and configure...

Thinking out eggnog got me thinking about certain foods that I simply detest namely Capsicum :- I abhor this one vegetable from the bottom of my heart, quite honestly I am convinced that it is purely psychological since I can eat it when I am forced to but given a choice, I will chuck them in & out of places faster than you can think. I dislike the taste of eggplants(brinjal) but don't mind them all that much.. What I do mind is the capsicum.. **shudders** Cashew Fruit :- My first and last time experience of eating the cashew fruit (not the dry fruit but the other stuff), my mother told me of how "yummy" and "succulent" it is.. Wow! I was disappointed and have never tried one ever since. I still refuse to eat it lest the evil memories come back to me Food :- Certain seafoods don't seem to agree with my palette and all those combinations of sweet + meat (honey & ham and so on).. I cannot stand to eat meat that is on the sweeter side and even though I love sushi, I can't seem to ever eat squid (I almost cried tears of blood when my bowl of squid refused to finish) What about you guys? Anything that seems to disagree with your palette?

Now that the holiday season has come by, I hear a lot of people talking about egg nog this and egg nog that... And it is hard to believe but I have never actually tasted Egg Nog not to mention the fact that beaten eggs don't really seem all that alluring :PWe do get packed egg nog here but I am not sure whether they taste all that good and I very happily reject my brother's offers to make some eggnog at home... So what does eggnog taste like and what are the best combinations? And how were you guys introduced to the stuff? I know I might be asking for too much but can someone describe how it tastes? I've been told it tastes like a smoothie or a chocolate milkshake but.... raw eggs?

I think the difference comes from what is used to plot the constellation, the zodiac is mostly plotted according to the solar calendar but in many places like in India, the lunar calendar is used. In the solar calendar, we use the day/sun as reference but with the lunar calendar a month is calculated according to the moon's waxing/waning period (from new moon to the full moon) so maybe the day you were born it was Sagittarius in the solar calendar but the lunar calendar was still in Scorpio.. Hope you understand what I just said.

Yeah, the kindle is super light and much faster since it doesn't have a lot of junk apps in it. And like I said, I bought a device primarily for reading and not working, I have my computer for working. As for the pathetic apes, it has become a plumage comparison nowadays when it comes to technology... There should be as many features in a device as much as the number of feathers on the tail of a peacock irrespective of how the quality turns out to be.. Sure, if the conversation was about tablets, I would have said the kindle could not match to some other tablets but a. the kindle is not a tablet & b. the discussion wasn't remotely about tablets lol . It was like comparing a rat to a cat and pointing out that the rat is useless because it is small and can do a limited number of things o.O I don't mind the attitude if they understood my reasons and requirements but they simply charged along without knowing anything.
