Things Going From Bad To Worse.......
electriic ink replied to Milovoriel's topic in Web Hosting Support
This makes be think it's a browser issue. Try downloading another browser like firefox or opera and see if that works. I presume you have ie... -
Here's the new sig... I've shortened the size now down to 200kb. I'll try and make it smaller. I've added a 2px blue line round all the edges I've inverted the colours so everything is blue and green. -------------------------- I think it looks better now. Thanks for your thoughts. Keep them coming

What Is The Little Orange Box Beside The Topic?
electriic ink replied to sugarplumsistar's topic in Web Hosting Support
It means that you have not read the last post in the topic. When you click on it takes you to the last read post. If you click on the box and hit back and refresh it should disappear. -
I've decreased the size of the image and made the text stand out: Thanks My first sig is over here (http://forums.xisto.com/topic/22528-my-first-sig-that-ive-created/) It's not as good as this one. Neither. I did it in Paint Shop Pro 9 Thanks for the replies for far. Keep them coming

People didn't like my last sig so I decided to create a new one... It's designed primarily for ipbgaming hence the different username but I decided to put it up for review here. I also have a non-animated version of the sig if anyone wants to see that.

The Most Popular Thread Ever! Pointless but maybe intersting.
electriic ink replied to vusay's topic in General Discussion
Why bother using "techniques" to make a get the reader to read it? If you can create a thread which will be interesting to the reader then you've mastered the best "technique" there is. You created a catchy topic title and it will most get users onto the page where the topic is. It may get some people to start reading the topic but it's the content of the topic that will get users to finish reading it and reply -

Downside To Microsoft Antispy Beta You Cant Use It In Less Than A Month
electriic ink replied to wariorpk's topic in The Vent
I think they're planning to make other beta versions. If you have installed it, in the title bar it says Microsoft Antispyware (Beta1). If you were only planning to make 1 beta you'd just call it Microsoft Antispyware (Beta). But they will still try and make money out of the completed version... -

I Despise Stupid Questions. How much is that 50 cent pack of gum?
electriic ink replied to Milk's topic in The Vent
Those types of stupid conversations would be annoying if they happened to me every day of my life, but most stupid questions bring people together. The amount of friendships that have started when someone asks a stupid questions is huge. The types of stupid questions you gave would barely ever happen unless someone was deliberately trying to be annoying. As previously mentioned by elvenmil they are not gonna go away, so you should try and make something out of them. This is a better example of your convo: - What's your favourite colour? - Green. What's yours? - Red. - I like that colour too. If that was a real convo then you could've easily made it like that by asking that simple question. If I'm still missing the point, what is the point? -
Actually, apart from the broken images in the forums, it looks great. Everything well laid out and presented. The navigation system at the top of all and bottom of some pages makes your site easy to navigate. Having the message board on the left hand side of the front page is an effective way of telling visitors the pages content. The only critism I can find is that none of your pages make use of the title attribute. This is a good tag. At the top of this page, in the title bar (the bar with the _ and X button,) its says Ideaz Unlimited. Your site could benefit from this. To do this simply add this into your <head> </head> tags: <title> Ideaz Unlimited </title> The red part represents what you can change and the blue what you can't. That's the only critism I can find. Congratulations on a good site! ----------------------- The Xisto banners are located here.

Maybe the people who are asking these stupid questions are trying to make a conversation. Maybe you should try and continue it. -
Do You Want A Sneek Peek At My Site
electriic ink replied to john_meikle's topic in Websites and Web Designing
That is a really good website. My only criticism would be to give your central table more height and less width. There have been websites which are a lot worse than yours.you're not the only 12 year old on this site -
My First Sig ... ... that ive created
electriic ink replied to electriic ink's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
I'm not using photoshop, I'm using "Ulead Photo Express My Custom Edition 4.0". It looks as if it's 4 years old so it's definetly time to upgrade. Photoshop seems a popular program so I'll consider getting that. -
My First Sig ... ... that ive created
electriic ink replied to electriic ink's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
It's my first day in discovering the program so I'm still fiddling round with all the features. I may post a revised version soon... -
I discovered I had a professional image editing program on my PC, so I decided to create a signature. All feedback welcome...

Here are my points: 1. Front Page Unless you put something creative on the very first page (small introduction, graphics, important details about the site) when you've finished designing the site then I suggest you get rid of it. 2. Banner In IE6 I was really tempted to scroll up when the page had finished loading because the top of your centre table was placed right at the very top of the page and I felt there should be something else there (a logo, slogan etc). In Firefox it probably looks different so try making it cross-browser compatible and think about what browsers the majority of your visitors will be using Other than that your site has a clean and consistant layout and the navigation system is right where a user should expect to find it. Well done

I downloaded WinAmp because it can play more file extensions. There's an ogg extension which can be played in WinAmp but not WMP.
