You can do that with static electricity. But in large scale,will this idea work?. and most important point is it cheaper?. if so, then there are no issues with it getting implemented. Else even if this idea being better will not help.

I don't get it why everybody is refuting fact that mycent are not updating. after 11th oct they updated at 18th. But not all got their mycent updated. Xisto is completely stagnated with mycent update. i'm active on both forums and not got credited much on TP17. and on Xisto more than 10post not credited. But still being patient with it. But stop claiming that people are whining, people are genuinely complaining.(if you disagree with thread-starter so be it. but be reasoable when you refute comlaints like mycent un-update.)

Amway.telebramds do this type of ads for years. It annoys me when they lie openly on tv. There are games on tv where they ask simple question and want you to call for to win prize. Host just waste ur time on call and you get charged heavily. Advertising and marketting is good to keep economy flowing. But any attemp to cheat good market or system brings disgr?e to ads world. even we are marketting ourselves on forum,we'll look same like those people in ads if we post uncesserily.

Fantastico on cpanel isn't updating.It is not keeping up with updates. There are two ways you can stay updated. First is to install wordpress from fantastico then install wordpress-automattic-update plugin and then update to recent version. You can even use core-update feature from wordpress itself.Another way is to install wordpress from softaculous. Softaculous have updated version of scripts.

Updated? it didn't changed a bit for me. i thought i earned mycent on Xisto. But no update on any place. i just got raise in mycent counter here. i was on 1cent and now i'm on 74 cent. i didnt get any email about update. And there are no updates on billing page as well.

Yes, since 9th october they stopped updating for Xisto as well as Xisto. Many members sent support ticket to xisto. Reply from support was Mycent server is gone slow because of more user registrations and posts. They did one update on Xisto which credited 1-2$ for some people. This was on sunday 11th October but after that there is no mycent update. Be patient, opaque said everyone will be credited.

Care to tell me how ? I don't see any revenue generation in free antivirus programs. Unless create your own virus and give solution to customers. (Norton style).

Only monthly or daily,weekly ad placement is considered and you get paid accordingly. If your blog has traffic in between 100-200 per month and decent pageviews. Plus you write regularly on blog then chances are you'll get deal from project wonderful advertisers. It is marketplace so first your site will be approved by PW people then it will be placed into market. Then you'll get deal based on your place in marketplace.

If not sure about this check your kontera account (if you';re using more than 8 months now) and not reached 100$. then see if you can check your last months earning. You can't. There is no earning counter that displays how much you've earned till you reach 100$. You're allowed to check quarterly earning. Check if you can set earning reports for 6 months(if you're using it for more than 8 months). If all this fails and still not sure, then read kontera reviews on google. After that, contact customer support of kontera. Which is very slow at answering for queries. If you make it through customer support and get positive answer from them that earning is carried forward for 6 months, then well and good. Continue with kontera. Else you know what to do.

@The simpleton, the best solution i can say is earn Mycent that cover year of hosting. I mean you've to earn 24$ Mycents in advance and pay it for year's hosting. Plus domain separately,if registered. This is the only way to ensure safety in mycent downtime. This is not good advice though, some people are posting excessively in their post to earn mycent. And i think this thing will be patched in Mycents new system soon.

You can try their service. If they were professional they will mind presenting themselves that way. In terms of Themes,content and promotion as well. They're promoting service the spammers way. Asking bloggers for blog content is good for guest-poster to get backlink. And that site gets free content and traffic. But we can't say the same for guest blogger. Guest-blogging works with closed group and when site which asks for traffic has traffic for themselves which they can divert to guest-poster. In turn, guest poster diverts some traffic to site as well. But this service is just started and i dont see any benefit of sharing content with them just for backlink(which is not going to bring traffic anyway).

@Karlo, is your email on forums and Xisto - Support/billing same ? If not then you've to register with same email address(the one with which you signed up on forums). 5-8 posts after this change you'll see the mycents updating on your account. Hope this helps.

They're not just directory. they allow you to post article on their blog. this is similar to papatoto site advertised here few days ago by another spammer. they either create digg clone or blog network by asking user to share content in exchange for traffic or revenue-share. Not effective if you write content. But posting URL like digg-clone does help. But in that process they bring lot of traffic (indirectly money) to their site. Nothing wrong if they're genuine else most user wastes their time investing on such sites.

That site is earning from member content. They're driving traffic to their own site first with content as well that of members. then they're passing bit to members. Don't you think earning is involved in this ?

Indeed it is fishy. Not looking professional. and they promoted their own site on other hosting forums to get traffic for themselves first. I thought such schemes do good with word of mouth. But they're not at all reliable. Bukisa and today.com worked with me. but earning is very slow on those networks.

You can create games using XNA creator but i doubt there is mac software available for that. Why not use windows in paralles or vmware and then design games ? Just possibility. Games created by XNA works with PC and XBox. Other than that there are plenty of 3rd party SDK available that allows us to create games for XBOX. You can try garagegames XBox SDK. They have commercial implementation of their SDK. So you've to pay for it. Garagegames software works with pc and mac. You can even have ogre3d and irrlicht games to run on XBox, for which you can download mac specific port. Some people did it earlier, you've to google for those tutorials.

Ad-revenue here in case of asta forums is ads shown on pages have some revenue. This revenue is shared with other members. You have to register at kontera and then post publisher ID in my settings page. You'll be credited whenever someone clicks your ads on Xisto page. To avoid fraud clicking, you'll not able to click on your own ads. So system will not update immediately for you. I hope this clears your doubt about ad-revenue on Xisto forum.

I don't think what made you think like this. Even my mycents are not credited. I've one domain registration pending. But i'm being patient here. I knew that there was mycent-update issue. And there will be modification for the mycent. Also mycent not updating for you is because of un-necessary posts. I already explained in one thread that you write un-necessary stuff on posts and make it long. This will be soon catch by system and you'll not get the credits. Be genuine and post only what is expected. And you'll be credited. Just imagine if everyone tries to duck mycent system, you think free service like this will survive ? As far as support is concerned, i told you already that it's weekend. But still they did answered your questions. I don't think they're failing.

Nice. +1 to theme. blue color layout looks cool and i was thinking white layout at the content side will make it readable. because any other than white color behind readable texts is painful. it's just my opinion though.

Whatever maybe this news means. There is worth to be skeptical about this committee now for peace prizes. What they planned for with this nomination and prize ? something is going on behind. call it conspiracy or whatever. even committee is not fool to give him prize but what could be the possible reason.

Never cared for category like peace. Always kept eye on science one. I just because of such weird decisions, people not question science awards.
