Yeah, people have difference in onion about noticing ads. In any case, advertising is the only medium with which free services on internet are alive. If people argue for ads on free service, then i see no point in discussing side of advertising. But the reason flashy ads, video ads and text-link ads are in the market is because static ads perform only well if reader is in sync with website and finds those ads helpful. This is rare that's why static banner ads are replaced by those annoying ads. But in case of video ads, flashy ads or textads/hover ads, they annoy people. They are designed to catch attention. And most of the readers don't like forced to see something from advertisers.

I use aptana. Though you can use eclipse and netbeans for web development. Eclipse and netbeans are available for both windows and linux. But some people find it heavy programs for system. So you can choose from NVU , bluefish or amaya.

So far i understand your question is you need email service. For which Google apps and Hotmail hosted domains is perfect. Most of us are using google apps service. I personally have access to google hosted mail service. And it got nothing to do with my host/domain registrar, i just need MX entries from them. They get another URL for accessing mail i.e. mail.google.com/a/yourdomain.com. This difference is because of MX entry given in the settings while installation. But in both cases you get yourname@domainname.com. And what made you think that Google doesn't provide 100 mail addresses ? I do have email address with mydomain.com. rpgsearch is right with his information. You failed to read and understand how google apps works. Google apps works with most of us. I don't know what made you think that they don't provide name@mydomain.com service for you ?. If you still think like that way they can't provide it, i afraid i can't help in with that. Squirrelmail mail and horde are similar to gmail as they have web interface. They're not like outlook or mail on mac, they have web interface on your control panel. I suggested you Xisto's default mail service from cpanel, cause it was most easiest way to get started with branded domain email box. But you refused it just cause you don't want 500 mail address ? You can open just 1 or 2 ? It's choice and system is not forcing you to use 500. You can buy domain from xisto and use it on Xisto control panel to work with horde,squirelmail on cpanel. But it's your choice. Same is case with google apps, they do provide you with 5-500 email address, you choose to go with 1or 2. Just because they provide large number of mailbox and you've limited need, you'll decline the offer for free-hosted mailbox ?

As far as i've seen from any readers point of view. Flashy ads, video ads and text-link-hover ads(kontera/infolinks type) are annoying. Other than that gif/static ads don't annoy people at all. I would like to see if static banner ads annoys people, i bet people hardly even notice those ads.

If you want your own email box with domain then you've options like Google Apps, Hotmail hosted domain, Yahoomail for hosted domains. There are many other mail hosting packages as well. You can buy domain from mycent from Xisto - Domains(which is xisto's company for domain registration)and get yourself a mailbox. Your control panel that comes with hosting package has horde,squirelmail and there is one more mail solution. These mail software on your cpanel let's you have your custom mailbox. I got confused rather than panic. Cause the support of ISP is very good at bombarding with questions and talking very fast. They was hardly listening to me at first place. And yes, child and rape porn is illegal and some other extreme offensive text/porn/warez content is illegal as i've mentioned earlier in my posts. Porn as in general is not illegal or restricted. But i've to come up with convincing answer that why i want to use proxy at first place. In work area, proxy sites allow me to facebook but at home it's accessible and i can't make any reason for that. Spotify was one thing that i wanted to access via proxy but they'll hardly listen to that request and i forgot about that as well.

And similar sites like this also test it for resolution as well. You can google for more such variety of sites. There are plenty of such editors. Don't know which one will suit you. Cause they don't look like dreamweaver. But they do have functionality equal & in competence with dreamweaver. Some names you can google : NVU, Aptana, Bluefish, Amaya. I guess that will be enough for you. Also you can use windows products from within linux. You've to use Winehq, Crossover,codeweavers etc product line on linux. On your root of file manager(check your cpanel). There is "public_html" folder. In order to make anything visible to public, you've to put folder and data in that folder. If you create folder and posted content in directory other than "public_html". It'll not be visible.

Yes, as quatrux mentioned safari is good on apple. I tried it on macbook pro. It's performance is much better on apple than on windows. Just like IE performs well on windows but lags behind it's performance on apple. Nowadays IE even bad at performance on windows. I think they've to change a lot of things before making 9th version. Opera is good for many users. Almost replacing IE and firefox for some.But for me firefox is performing good. Though takes some memory but i use it for add-ons. I wish there could be firebug and downthem-all add-on for both safari and opera. That way i can get my work done on my friends computer as well.

Kontera,infolinks and cliksor are disabled by ad-block plus. I just checked it right now. I tried few sites which was hosting ads from these publisher. By enabling ad-block plus you can disable them. I guess this is one more reason to stick with firefox. I don't mind ads. Besides i do earn from ads on some of my websites. But ads on my sites are never pop-up or text-link type. I prefer banners that too smaller as much as possible. I actually hate ad-block plus as it degrades my revenue as well as revenue of many genuine publisher who run blogs solely from money from ads. But if ads like kontera and clicksor comes on blog, have no option than enabling them. :-/

Scratch is for kids. If any grownup wants to try it then have no problem but will get more confused. It's not easy to be a kid, when you grow up. Besides designing and learning programming from it is not so easy as well. I tried to show the demo to many grown-up people. And they found it bit out of taste. So i showed them smallbasic. They learned that one quick and find it interesting. I think it's totally dependent on individual on how they want to learn. Scratch is good for kids and school students. But for more learning python, smallbasic is way to go.

@Nameless, it's not other issue. it is issue of my ISP. cause goverment is not spying on ISP's and customers. They just block (porn,fishy,warez,virus sites). They have no problem for paid sites in those categories (porn, warez). I checked it with other customers of ISP, proxy softwares are blocked by ISP. As far as i know, government here have no problem unless sites are too extreme with objectionable content. Some porn sites here have very objectionable text contents (they can tolerate media content as it can't be stopped but text content is too much beyond free speech for some sites. Especially in case of child pornography and other stuff. Such sites deserve ban. And i have no objection to it. Those who want to access it better pay some bucks, pass through filters and break the law. It's better to have government which checks content and block, rather than government (like china)which spy on people and their surfing trends.

I don't think it'll be an epic. Why ? First looking at the screenshots and review from beta testers. This looks like OS for online users. What about people who use offline softwares and work more offline than online ?. Google tied online services onto this operating system. If they market it as for all type of users then i've no problem calling it epic. Else if its has targeted user-base then there is no point in calling it epic. But yes, world is excited to have some interesting from google head quarters. And as we don't trust privacy of google , we'll see more and more of our surfing habits and sites getting indexed by this os. They'll earn more from it for sure.

This is more of browser issue,in my opinion. Sometimes browser does act weirdly. I have seen firefox, opera and chrome doing that. Chrome goes one step ahead sometimes, it even restarts for me when i try to spell-check my posts. I think cleaning browser history regularly could solve this issue. I think of this issue of clipboard cache of browser. Not sure if it's exactly that problem. Try if you can update the browser. Earlier Mozilla versions did that trouble with me, current 3.5.3 version of firefox is not showing such issues. Even opera current version is not showing this problem. But yeah, i do have this issue with chrome. If you're having this issue with multiple browsers and that too with recent version of them, then post in their support forums maybe they can help. And if they reply that it is OS issue. Then you need to ask this problem in OS support forums like protonic, tech support guy etc.

I think you're talking about those kontera, infolinks ad-networks in-line text ads. These text ads are embedded on web page. Depending on keyword bid and traffic for keyword. It creates a hover popup when user take mouse over those double underlined text links. Yes, it is annoying. Why ? Pleny of reasons. First is it makes site looks more ugly. Second, it adds to many links to article or site and this diverts people from main content. It's just too annoying. It's like making money from CPC model that annoys people. And one more thing that i found with kontera is shocking. If you're kontera publisher then you are supposed to earn 100$ within 6 months. If you failed to do that money you earned in last 6 months are not carry forwarded. This is shocking they take your hard earned money. Kontera is good for sites with larger traffic. You can read about this irritating policy on the reviews posted on internet. My only kontera code is working on tp17. I withdraw my publisher id from rest of my site. It is annoying and it's not gonna pay me as well.

But buying new hosting for each domain is painful as you've earn more mycents for each domain & hosting plan. @Thedisturbedone, you said it used TLD for URL linking. so it is just used for ("public_html/domain for it's own convenience on cpanel) and not to browser and URL linking on it, right ?

So in this case if i go with add-on feature, my CMS say joomla or wordpress will continue to show complete domain URL ? like http://www.hugedomains.com/domain_profile.cfm?d=foodomain&e=com ? or in case of URL it'll show that subdomain ?

I didn't get you. I don't want to work with subdomains. I'm using TLD. So i have to park them or to use add-on feature in this case ? I'm just confused here.
