This page shows archive of all used googl logos. Google sometimes host contest for new logos. I remember they did so in last year i.e. in 2008. Some of the logos are really cool. I mean artist working on google logos are really talented. They make google's frontpage cool. Google changes logo on specific days. It also varies from demographic area. For india there was logo with diwali greetings. For rest of the world there was logo with saint partricks day, valentine day etc.

Yeah, it maybe useful but look at sites which are using them. Most of those sites requires lot of scrolling and with this toolbar on scrolling becomes slow and painful. I mean do we have to wait a lot to scroll ? I mean this is biggest usability issue. Many people like nelson in usability world will soon cover this thing as well. I found this very annoying. Just imagine if Xisto added this and you've to scrollback at the boom and cause of this toolbar you've to just go very slowly. I don't know how people will react on busy blogging sites. I mean they have tons of content and have lots of traffic. I mean i stopped going to some sites because of this toolbar. I'm viewing their content from feed reader now. So they lost one visitor on site which could have earned them some CPM views.

I didn't get you. Do you mean adding software on blog/forum or website ? In this case you've to signup to the CPC advertisers site. Then register your site and fill up the tags. Then they'll generate a code for you. You've to put this code in place where you want to show these ads. Let's say sidebar or footer, then you've to paste code in those respective pages. Can you be specific where you want to post your CPC code ? Is it blog, forum or website ?

I have noticed that many blogs are adding this social toolbar. This toolbar makes scrolling any blog very hard. Scrolling becomes very slow because of this toolbar. And if you hover mouse over one of it?s points or just near it then it will pop up with something. It has facebook submitter and twitter button on it. It also sorts some popular pages and comments on your blog. For some people it sounds very good and trendy but for readers i found it very annoying. What do you think about this social toolbars on site or blog ?

For windows there is one software called USB safely remove. They earlier opened one offer that gives free license to their recent version. I got one license from them. After using this program i can say that the way it controls USB devices is great. It can be useful in case of virus protection as it doesn't allow autorun execution of USB drives. You can control that. I don't know if there is any utility on linux like this. If anyone knows then please update about this here.

No, you can view cpanel demo on cpanel's site. There are few screencasts. Also there are some hosts and sites which shows cpanel demo. I had link earlier which used to give demo tour of cpanel. they didn't let you install/delete file or create something new in it. But used to give you goo tour of the product. I'll post link once i get it.

Agree that it is not usable for p2p. Speed maybe low for some sites. Especially sites that take too much of resources (flash/java/silverlight). Don't know why tor is not working with flash/java site for one of member here. Coming back to topic, which service you selected for anonymous browsing ?

I'm on similar lines with quatrux. In what way chrome is worst browser ? I can understand it crashes with spell-checker sometimes. Also it crashes because of java and flash based sites. But again not for all. I find this crashing on computers with low resource. That could be the issue of taking system resource. So maybe they'll fix this soon. I've yet to try chrome 3 so i'll not comment on it about that crashing issue. And to call chrome worst over firefox, isn't firefox crashing more than chrome ? Isn't firefox taking more resources than chrome ? Some people even find such issues with opera. I don't know how people benchmark browsers to call it worst. Seriously, they need to go through some benchmark test before making gross generalizations.

There is no difference between these two as people are just confusing with it. There is no difference between the google os and google chrome os. You can even ask about this on some of the google help forums on google groups. You can even ask this question to the chromium developers group on google groups. You'll get the same answer that they're same.

Why don't you try some indian names ? I mean names like "annapurana" are fit for catering business. Others that are matching with this business name, you can try them. Try and select name that matches your business function. Some names that i can suggest is "Freshcamp, Swad, Aswad, Mishti, Darshan", etc. there are more creative names for catering business. I couldn't come up with those. Maybe you can take others suggestion as well.

For mycent levels to come down to positive. You'll have to keep posting inorder to get the mycent back to positive. You can make genuine posting this time instead of posting copy-pasted content from the web. And if you're asking for taking warning status down before your warning period then it is unfair for other members who post here genuinely. You must wait and take the warning level as it is. If people start to post plagiarized content and then ask for apology for that and earn hosting & domain before warning period expires then this is unfair. Why not just wait and follow the rule ? You did break the rule and now it is your responsibility to face this. Why should genuine & active member should allow your such actions ? I hope other moderators feel the same on this issue.

I guess then this is issue with browser for you. I'm not sure in your case. But it is working for us. I even tried opening java based site "processing.org" to check if it works with torpark. And i didn't find any issues. It was opening it without any problem. ISP issue with torpark perhaps ? Not sure about this.

But you're plagiarizing here as well as on Xisto. If they remove your warning status and set it to zero. Then isn't it unfair to other active and genuine users ? Plagiarized content can be easily found from your posts as english in your this posts and those new thread easily shows the difference. I mean you'll plagiarized here and earn mycent and then will contact moderators to lower the warning status ? So what was the need of warning at first place ? I think you should get your negative mycents to positive one by posting genuinely not by asking for help from moderators. I just made my opinion as member, for the rest moderators and admin will decide.

@demlasjr, that chrome os is called as google os by some people. So it's just misunderstanding. It's not another OS from them. Google OS or chrome os, it's just how people call it. It's not new from them. As per your link it's the chrome os that they are working on. If i'm not wrong then it is based on debian. I mean they did talked with ubuntu community about this. There were some talks with mark shuttleworth about this last year. So yes, Chrome OS is likely to be based on debian. Maybe debian will have more members in their community to seed changes and to work on their base.

@John, i don;t think you're right on that last line. Besides post2host is not everyone's cup of tea. Some members are still on dialup and have limited connectivity. For them Xisto and Xisto may not help at all. So in their case they can use the other hosts. Some hosts simply hosts without anything in return. I know such host don't stand for long term. But in any case such hosts do help few people. x10hosting,hostcolor,novahost etc. are good hosts providing free hosting without anything in return. I don't know how long will they remain in business and how much they have downtime. But in any case, they're helping a lot to many members who can't post2host. Let's not generalize and call crazy to people based on their decision of choosing free hosts.

@John, just curious about update timing for you. How much time it takes to update your mycents ? I mean for me it takes 15-20 minues to update. For some there is even more delay but less than 1 hour. So i'm curious for others on Xisto how much time it takes to update your mycent. I can make poll on this. But looking at the inactivity on Xisto, it better to ask this question on this thread. Instead of creating new thread and poll,i will better get little response here.

Yauba and cuil are not browsers. They're search engines like google. And they do have their own results and database. They collect their refined database from sites like scour and other search engine filtering services. I did bit search for yebol service and yes they're independent. They might be indexing on their own Or perhaps indexing popular other search engines and collecting search results based on that. I suspected about their results cause i found their search results similar to yahoo and bing results. I know some search engines co-operate with their search results. So i felt yebol was on similar lines as that of scour and hpf type search engines. But it's not like that they're independent. Yebol is good search engine. Just new in the market. I have to see if it can give results for some my queries.
