  1. Aizen is sealed... Feeling sad... Now i have to tolerate hinamori and soifon for next few arcs :(

  2. It is not usability issue. It is more of license and distribution and platform issue. .NET framework has weird license that restrict many developers from packaging their content with the environment. UNIX/Linux are completely free in that regard when they release software for their own platform. But when it comes to commercial software on even those platforms they expect us to have libraries before installation. That is the reason some commercial codecs/apps even on linux wants us to have things set before installation.
  3. This happens with almost every game. At first they pick a lot of audience and hype and later it goes down. NFS is also one such game which lost more old audience than they gained every year. It happens with most gamers out there.
  4. One cabinet with multiple folders is what linux offers. Multiple cabinet with multiple folders is what lwindows offers. trying to put all the files in one cabinet and sorting stuff in multiple, from here you can guess the organization of files. How user friendly are things in these two os. This dialogue nags user irrespective of their privileges and it appears everywhere. Some programs in ubuntu require sudo to run, adept/synaptic is just one example. With windows, you don't see this screen if you are power user or admin. It only comes during network connection and add/remove programs. .NET and DirectX doesn't require constant up-gradation like linux packages. You can go without upgrading them for years. I managed to keep .NET and directx updates for 2 years. G++, gcc requires update every time you update your ubuntu or say whatever your distribution is and that cycle is 4-6 month and twice a year. Two distribution definitely clash when it comes to package management. Try getting .deb working on mandriva or redhat and you will see package management issues. You will be forced to use alien for that. I know what dependency issue is, you are mixing it with package management clash. I'm talking about commercial softwares like adobe flash and not OS. Cannonical is not shipping any commercial software in DVD box. It's not there because there is less or no profit for commercial softwares. Why linux/open source softwares have one-step installation ? This is because they are made within community. Try getting commercial software and you will face the same wizard based installation- the one you see in other OS like OSX, windows. Reason is that some software require user input for settings and with commercial license they don't want user to blindly accept what that software offers. In case of free/open source software installation there is no issue with users accepting TOS/settings etc. as whole platform is free from license and spyware/adware or other system specific issues.
  5. Point still remains the same. All the eggs in same basket. "root/directory1" and similar organization about files and folder proves that. You don't get multiple drives in it. File organization is pain when you want to get stuff done. People shouldn't waste time to use hard way of doing things when you can do it easily. Software installation, network connection and many other admin tasks require sudo privillages in ubuntu and kubuntu. Many other distros restrict users with CLI prompt and force them to use sudo or for manually installing packages. Windows has only two dependencies that is .NET framework and Directx. You don't need to update them for 1-2 years if your software supports it. This is not the case with linux each update requires new libraries of g++, gcc and other stuff. People are constantly under pain of dependency hell when two different distros clash- for example ubuntu and mandriva linux both are from different branch of linux management. Which software company has linux based software sold in DVD and boxes ? Plus linux script kiddies on network are rising more as anti-virus companies are seeing profit in this platform. Well i like linux, OSX, BSD, Windows and every other OS. I'm not hating linux at all. My point is that when it comes to getting things done, linux offers steep learning curve. It is not at all user friendly. That was my point bani.
  6. Folks at SEO Book and SEO MOZ suggests premium services like keyword spy and spyfu. I prefer spyfu as they have free version as well. Keyword spy has huge database and lots of research pointers than spyfu but it comes with price. If you are building a brand then domain name hardly matters. You can have names like "quick sprout", "stack overflow" and rank higher on search engines. I have few website names which has nothing to do with the stuff that is going on site but i'm building those site as brand and not for SEO or selling in mind. But if you are building sites solely for the sale in mind then playing with keywords does help.
  7. Money on facebook can be made from marketplace, PPC ads, games and donation buttons. You can read about facebook ppc money making. Plus i think there is one guy called jonathan volkwho guides people on how to advertise on facebook to get money in return. Oh and there is money to be made from apps that facebook have. Using your email or personal information to sell outside facebook is one business many firms do. Your surfing habits, likes or dislikes on social network are logged and that way advertisers are targetted. so there is plenty of money...
  8. Here is the official news about rise in prices. I posted my domain bill in this thread. You can see the receipt number from which you can verify if my bill is genuine or not by checking with Xisto - Support team. And confirm the same. As i said, perhaps VAT is applicable to those who are in country where xisto does business. In india business charges two types of VAT percentages 4-5% and 10-13% i'm not sure about exact percentage in between because i checked last time in 2007 for my own tax when i did it manually. I'm not sure if you purchased domain after September if so then you may get results same like me. If not, then you can assume this VAt is country specific.
  9. When all the files are saved in /root/rob then tell me how easy it is organize and remember or type. You are forced to use command line where windows doesn't force you at all. You are forced to use sudo and CLI in 60-70% of managing OS. Besides you can move my documents to e:/my documents or d: my documents in case of windows. is there anything easy to remember path in linux ? NO. Let's face it, linux still force us to use CLI. Linux has huge dependency issue with libraries and multiple distribution makes offline software installation and distribution difficult. Assuming that there is fast or moderate speed internet your case is applicable. But internet censorship is on rise and from unlimited plans ISP are shifting to limited data plans. Dialup users still exist so CD and DVD even if remains on shelf for years are worth to keep. Especially when software is commercial people prefer to get CD or DVD for network installation. Many firms keep data safe by not connecting their home network to internet for such type of consumers DVD/CD is important. Sofware repository based OS don't solve those problems and in fact make it harder. Commercial value from those free repository is already seen during recession and people are moving back to profitable platforms. Linux doesn't have script kiddies ? viruses ? browser spywares ? software doesn't fail or get corrupt while installing ? there is no dependency hell? I didn't expected you to raise this point.
  10. 1.95$ ? which domain extension is that ? .info or other ? .com never charges in 1.95$.are you sure this is the Non-VAT receipt of your domain purchase ? Because domain bills are always charged with VAT. I'm confused about the domain amount, 1.95$ ? weird pricing in billing so far.
  11. I agree. Credibility part is missing. People come up with many such theories on hubpages or other sites. Nowhere they have given any proof for the claim they make. Just speaking like authority on subjects by random claiming and not giving proof explains side of such conspiracy theory writers. Glenn beck is also on similar thought process like OP. Create one conspiracy theory and to hide it create another and never give proof for that.
  12. I beg to differ. Other than crashing and bugs, windows ME was just like windows 98 in use. Windows Vista was improvement over XP and it was still user friendly. People had no trouble using that. Speaking of user friendliness- "/usr/accountname/directory1/ directory 2" is easy to remember and organize than ' C:/" or "d" or "e:" drives ? requiring internet connection for most of known software from repository is user friendly ? or getting those softwares via dvd or disc is still user friendly ? and list goes on.
  13. Last month or maybe from august. Notice from xisto was on august though if i'm not wrong. Other registrars are charging 9.95$+tax=12.95$ for the domain. Here at xisto users are being charged at : 12.95$+tax=14.28$-14.95$. Price rise is everywhere but there is still competition from other registrars about the price. You should start posting on both KS and Xisto if you want to recover your domain name. go start posting..
  14. Opaques business"Xisto" is located in india. And here in india we do have VAT. All my reciepts of xisto has VAT charges on it. Current news of .com or TLD domain price hike is relatively new notice that you have missed this. You can see this quote from my recent domain bill. I hope this clears the doubt.
  15. Opaque may accept alertpay using his own account or by other means. If accepted you will get reciept for 2checkout or other payment processing or manual billing. So contact opaque and try to get help with it. even after expiration upto 30 days domain remains in hold to domain registrar so you have time.
  16. I don't think todays celeron makes any difference if our new apps are memory leakers. For example, open office leaks more memory than ms-office and that makes computer much slower. celeron processors are not meant to respond to graphics intensive work that is the truth. yeah you may feel difference with old OS like windows XP on it. but apps have their way of showing result.
  17. Oh thank you for posting this. Now go buy domain for yourself from Xisto - Web Hosting and then post this statement again. Just for the sake of information - VAT cost of 2$ is added to your 12.95$ bill and total becomes 14.95$. Hmm..so don't go to just news and believe it. Do take a look at your billing receipt. I hope you learned something new.
  18. You can use search function at the top for the decade plan thread. Unfortunately i can't use search because it is giving me error i'm not sure about others. Also there is one more chance of this thread being in alert and notice or xisto network section so have to search for it. Decade plan offers - 10 year hosting, 1 mysql DB, limited space and bandwidth that is what i have managed to gather so far. But if you want to host static sites with less content then this is perfect plan. Oh one update by the way- domain prices are increased and at Xisto - Web Hosting domain cost is 14$.
  19. My city had this issue last year. For 3 months the city was declared under level 6 by goverment. We were not allowed to go outside the city and all the incoming to city was stopped. I managed to survive along with many people arround me. I can tell you that this is bad because you really need to take care of in this situation. Don't rely on those ayurvedic medicines only. Use all possible ways to clean your house and the society or apartment in which you live. Be safe.
  20. Yes. this free wordpress which is found on many other small blogs is UNIQUE. I wasted my time. duh. URL's can be changed with settings tab in wordpress. You need to update .htaccess after this. You have option like thematic framework, thesis and revolution framework. Ah so you are going to show me "page views for visitor count ? single visitor can browse through 100s of same site which takes it to count of page impressions aka page views. Honesty ya know. Adwords has nothing to do with ranks in SE. It only buys the PAID traffic of which surge dies when you run out of funds.
  21. So true. Yeah front page which is i'm avoiding as much as possible. In fact i'm using Xisto.com/forums every time i come here. So you are right that front page is i so hate. Yes opaque explained about it -member site in front page. I thought OP was talking about the link/banner affiliation on forum. Just like most anime forums or clan forums share on their forums. i was not clear about this type of affiliation on KS.
  22. Okay we'll have some analysis on this one. Ash's blog is in technology niche. So i ask you to take a look at top 500 tech blogs and tell me if the designed theme is common among all the blogs or atleast 10-20 of them. Plus if they are bringing visitors participation or purchase to the site then designs like this one helps or breaks ?Techies do pay attention to design and rarely accept sites with free wordpress theme design. i say rare. i don't know if there is any free theme blog is topping top 500 range. Human visitors who actively participate on website pay attention to design, content, etc. Otherwise you can have some content-video, download item etc with simple html page and can have 1 milion visitors. Plus there are some static websites which don't accept participation on main content do generate more than 1 million visits a day. But when it comes to participation or dynamic content sites then design and SEO plays a huge role. It's not just information. I'm not fan of upselling and scarcity. But with such URL and design if anyone set out to claim that they fetch 3k visitors with such content, widgets then that is pure dishonesty. I'm not saying lie because we are in gray area when it comes to web.
  23. I learn from my journey so far that there is rarely anything like best friend. It's just green grass that we see in life. Everyone forgets about us at the end of the day and move to their own life. They have the right to do just that. Maybe i made my opinion because of the things that happened in my life. But i don't think in this fast pace life i'm that wrong. People care about those who have fame, money and are good looking. If one has those things then everyone likes to associate themselves to that guy. i know it sounds weird but i came across similar people. I just try to be friendly, informative or strict with people depending on the type of situation. I rarely get in to hatred or enemy type of relation. It's just not productive either way. I don't try to find best in friends or get on their tail. I leave them be what they want to do with their life. Maybe because i'm kinda lonewolf type guy. I don't know how people find time for stating things like - best friend, best husband/wife and all that. It's just the thoughts that comes up when they take time off their life and try to read what happened to their life. My post has nothing to do with what OP stated but more of my world about this whole relationship or being friendly thing. So that ends my friendship rant.
  24. I think most of the members are facing database errors on their hosting. Besides that servers are frequently down. So i guess KS is also facing similar issues. Is there any admin active who can notify us about the errors on servers ? Take a look at some KS bugs as well.
  25. Okay. Here let me review again. Theme is not unique considering you are claiming 3000 visitors daily. Twitter widget never helps build visitors in fact it takes that away from you. You should remove the widget instead just put your twitter id image link on site. You want your visitors to go to twitter instead ? think about it.You didn't edited the URL's as well. still i see the "/p=97?" type of URLs. You should take a look at that again. Chane it to "/month/postname". If that suits you. I think month wise sorting is good that year+month on url. Hope this helps.
