Yes. I have seen their control panel and wordpress. Sometimes it becomes really hard to upload plugins on their control panel which requires .htacess or other permission settings. I don't know what they are offering with such age old technology. I don't recommend this hosting and domain registrar to anyone. Not scam but it's just old enough and poor support that they have makes me to discard them.

So you have virtual mode enabled for your ultimate edition ? i never saw any demo of that virtual machine. Does that copy of windows require seperate license ? I mean if that mode allows us to run windows XP in it for some apps or games then does it require seperate registrations ?

VPS and dedicated have less downtime in comparison to shared servers. You can expect 98% and higher uptime on VPS and dedicated servers. Dedicated Hosting - starts at 50$ onwards to 250$ per month depending on server configuration and option of managed or unmanaged. Dedicated hosting Suitable when you have large spike of traffic and lot of files and streaming and users on your site or community. Not suitable if you don't have money from your site's earning. In your situation you can only afford shared hosting as of yet. You can get better price for your small site at smal price from limedomains and hostica if you are on lower budget. Hope that helps.

clamwin and komodo can be a good choice for offline antivirus. If you do a lot of USB data transfer on your system then you can get malware or other security specific software if they offer downloadable updates.You can take updates from cafe to clamwin and komodo. Same applies to malware softwares like spybot search & destroy. Adaware seems to be in issue with money and free version so not sure if they have free updates. Have to check that.

Ipod touch has many issues and it's not feature rich either. Camera quality is also not superior in comparison to iphone. You can read some reviews of ipod touch before making purchase. One thing to note here is that if you are buying ipod touch just for listening to music then don't compare with iphone. It's just waste of time. You get best music out of these two and if your sole purpose of buying that gadget is to listen to music then why waste time buying iphone for that.

Just for your information, fatcow has some noticeable downtime. Just like Xisto - Web Hosting and fatcow does a lot of overselling as well. I used to promote fatcow a lot but i don't do that anymore. Service from CH, Fatcow are same these days. They used to be very good earlier but now they are average hosts with some overselling sales pitch. 1and1 has a lot of issues like lack of cpanel or fantastico, softaculous which makes installing script very hard. I don't know why they can't afford free license of softaculous which has atleast 30 scripts.

Garmin nuvi has improved model in market. It collects a lot of data via GPS. You can even mark some item and let your machine know about it. By marking and using the user content, something like checkpoint or so data can be effectively used with such GPS gadgets. not sure if you seen that model, so just saying.

Firefox does leak memory in comparison to chrome. It takes more memory and also it takes time while releasing the resources as well. Not sure if you know this already. If not check this. Though after june, most of the new versions are improved and no longer leak as much as they do. We have much better FF now than older version. I do expect 4 to be much better because it has sync feature included.

Well AJAX based instant search is annoying as it gives some lag. And on firefox you'll get memory leaks every now and then. You may try using it with chrome or opera. Send an email to paypal from some alternate email ID and ask if VCC/Virtual Bank is allowed on paypal. I have many people telling me that VCC is illegal because VCC uses theft credit card numbers. Yes. It is perfect for typical wordpress blog and hosting. Only thing is to watch out for is mycents are slow to earn for you. And you need to either use those mycents to pay for yearly or monthly hosting price. Downtime - sometimes we do face short downtimes and honestly it's once in week or month. Very small but it is there and you can view it from either netwhistle or from your analytics. I'm hosted here for last 3 years and i do face few downtimes. But service is good and i'm okay with that.Customer support - support is bit slow and it takes some time to answer your questions. But it's okay if you have patience for sometime then you'll have no issues with it. Overall, if you just wanted to host wordpress blog then Xisto - Web Hosting is good hosting service.

I have faced issues with rmvb and mkv files. I don't know how they can do subbing with avi files. If they can encode inside the avi files then surely this will help a lot while file conversion. LOL. None of the indian sacred texts are in hindi. All the ancient sacred texts are written in sanskrit which is very difficult language. I agree that vista and Windows 7 have image viewers which are bit buggy and crash while showing some formats. But XP's default was best it used to show only image formats. Now a days windows 7 tries to pick even video formats and there is starts to crash.
