    Hi All

Hi Yegane. Welcome to the forums!
  2. Speaking of their downtime, FatCow is actually way below average. The appearance/layout of FatCow is a lot more cuter than 1and1, however. Wow! What should I do... I bought 1and1's beginner hosting package and boy oh boy, am I disappointed. (yes I have to repeat that) Have you seen their control of Wordpress? You can't even upload your own themes, they pick the themes for you and most of them do not suit my kind of layout... Yuck
  3. Yeah, I want a mp3 player, but don't know which one to get.Which one would you recommend me?I burned out my iPod nano by accidentally having the charger, while still plugged into the iPod, soaked into a mini puddle of water on my table.
  4. Interesting topic.I can relate to this via clothing & everything in general!Currently doing: comparing the colors of my clothes to the color choices I have made recently. DONE:VIOLET NAILS. GREEN BUDDY LIST. BLUE SWEATER. GREY HOODIE. WHITE "BRACELET". BROWN BAG....(thinks) What could that be saying about me........ The grey color section seems to have hit me hard. "Concealment of emotions"?? That seems like the mood I have been in lately.... hmmmm
  5. You're welcome. Also, try to lead her to positive things, such as distracting her by getting involved in a group activity such as volunteering at a hospital or taking care of animals. Positive things = positive results! In no time she'll be living better. I can tell you're good friend--also, don't let her go to a route that is negative. (drugs, sex etc) Best wishes to your friend!
  6. The iPhone Features: + FaceTime + Retina display + Ability to multitask + Music * ( 40+ hour playback audio! ) + HD video recording and editing + 5-Megapixel camera w/ LED Flash + Mail, maps, etc + Safari Web Browser + Photos, Youtube, etc PRICE: $99 for iPhone 3g (8 GB), $199 for iPhone 4 (16 GB) and $299 for iPhone 4 (32GB) @ Apple VS: The iPod touch Features: + FaceTime + Retina display + HD video recording and editing + Game Center + Music * ( 40+ hour playback audio! ) + Movies + TV shows + Mail, maps, etc + Safari Web Browser + Photos, Youtube, etc PRICES: $229 for 8 GB. $299 for 32 GB, and $399 for 64 GB. @ Apple (to admins) : I took my time to take note of all the features, lol, this was in no where close copy and pasted. * = my main concern! Italic = similarities RESEARCH SOURCES(for information): http://www.apple.com/ I'd prefer the iPod touch because I would like something separate from my music and my phone. But having an phone with a built in iPod is SOO COOL to me. I can't afford it due to my brother withholding the at&t contract information from me at the moment! I'm so ready to buy one of the either. Which one would you prefer?
  7. This reminds me of a previous topic I just so happened to have stumbled upon. Here's to share my knowledge that I have gained from skimming through from the long, but full with wisdom, post. INNER PRESENCE. + Don't go overboard. What do I mean by that? BE HUMBLE. BE YOURSELF. LOVE YOURSELF. BE COMPLETE TO ATTRACT YOUR OTHER PIECE, WITHOUT BEING A HALVE. + Be humble. Everyone has their own unique characteristics that differentiate you from another person, for say compared to an alien from another country (or planet, lol.) or a neighbor across the street. Of course, if what makes you different makes you feel or makes you seen as superior, perhaps learning to feel grateful for such characteristics help tone down what makes you so unique. (in other words, make the person that will be drawn to you RIP YOUR EXTERIOR to take a close look into your interior. Interior is your personality, while your exterior is the wall you create possibly and also your own personal zone if that makes sense) + Be Yourself. Girls love it. Trust me, I'm one... + Love Yourself: so you can attract Genuine Love. I've seen many people who think they are really treating themselves well by pampering themselves, etc to improve their appearance in hopes to attract that special someone. NO! This is not the right thing to do! By loving yourself, you are treating yourself to unconditional love from the one and only YOU. By pampering yourself, it's called "self-pamper", which is a good thing after a long hard day/week at work. + First, YOU have to be complete. Similar to the subtopic above, you must be complete. In order to attract your special mate, you have to be complete. You ARE COMPLETE. You are not one half a person (a halve). You don't NEED someone. You only need yourself (you are whole). The rest will come to you. Remember the phrase best things come to those who wait? Well follow that rule, and the best thing WILL come to you, soon. It may be later, and by that I mean WAAAAAY later. But like the meaning says, the wait will be WORTH IT.
  8. 1. Michael Jackson - They Don't Really Care About Us (I love this song, however)2. Musiq Soulchild - Teach Me (I don't know why, but this song is just depressing overall; although it's a good song)3. Claude Kelly - I Hate Love4. Babyface - Loneliness5. Cherish - AmnesiaFrom top to bottom, least to most depressing.
  9. Hi, nice to meet you too Rob!! I blog about everything. Mostly about the girly stuff, along with games. I'm not blogging yet, I suppose I'm an "aspired blogger" to-be. Okay! I remember back then when the forum used to be "Xisto" being a fun forum/environment to chat in, esp. given the kind free web hosting from trap 17. Do you blog as well?
  10. I can relate to how she's feeling. It seems like she's at a low point in her life. Try to take her to somewhere that she's not thinking too much. Just thinking about happy thoughts converts someone's thinking to be merely happy things. For example, if she's in a emotional rut where she feels burdened by her family's misery or feelings of hatred, perhaps time away from them is appropriate. Another suggestion is to have a family counseling session. That helps as well. I've been to one session with my brother when we both had situations we didn't talk to each other about. My brother and I are no where close to where we used to be and we both like it. Perhaps the distance between your friend and her family is a good thing. For me, I'm glad it is, because sometimes your family members are so alike with you that you feel like they're your exact mirrors and that can annoy you, if that makes sense. The way that I'm dealing with it personally is that both my brother and I don't speak to each other as much. We also have a generation gap which doesn't really allow us to connect anyway. He's soon to be married and he live away from the rest of us now. I'm not sure what you mean by her not knowing much about each other? Bonding time with family members can help break whatever it is that is breaking a family member's relationship apart. A counselor is there to help her, and if she feels like she doesn't want to tell her anything, then she probably doesn't trust her. I felt the same way. Dealing with her own emotions on her own, which may take a while, is probably best for her as well. It seems to me she isn't too sure how she's feeling, or maybe she's feeling alone, too? I hope this helps. A HUG and a fun day out frequently helps!! Perhaps go to a party and meet new people! Self-esteem issues can also be a big factor as to why she may be feeling down.
  11. Taxi? Like, Crazy Taxi? I loved that game! The worst game I've ever played has got to be the poor quality shockwave games. I'm not sure if those count, but seriously I like most of the games I've played. Either they're just not my kind of game, or I just despise those: poor quality games!
  12. DOTA DOTA DOTA~!!! I love this game!!!!I made my own review on it, and will post it on my blog which will be soon to be up soon. (coming to you soon! XD)Anyway, I swear, dotA is like eating a food with some peculiar chemical that makes you want more.Or even, DotA provides this sense of worth in the game that makes you feel so good. Especially when you win!I've been playing DotA since 2008 and I have to admit, it's the best game I've ever played.I'm seriously... addicted. What can I do about it? It's basically one of those games that can grab you like quicksand.Take a step out of it with both feet and you'll be fine, but if you stay too long with it, you're forever gone. (jay z's song plays in head)Haha. YEAH. DOTA! A+++++!
  13. YES, YES, AND YES. I absolutely despise smokers!!!!Whenever I spot one or even am forced to sniff the horrendous scent of smoke, I have to hold my breath in!My cousins' grandfather and uncles used to smoke all the time, and at the time I was in elementary school. So I would have to sit in the house, basically trapped in there, in a room full of smoke! It was horrible.I'm glad my family convinced my dad to stop smoking. My dad stopped smoking so he wouldn't make us inhibit second-hand smoking.Thank God!!!Smoking is not only bad for your skin, but it's bad for your teeth and overall health! I have no idea why people smoke. There are other ways to cure or find excitement into doing!! Life is already too short for you to be cutting your life span! QUIT NOW, SMOKERS!!!
  14. Stanford has always been an university my family and I have been interested in. The tuition costs, however, to attend is way too excruciating. I'm hovering over to attending UCLA in the Fall in 2012, hopefully if I am accepted of course!Anyone here attend, or plan on attending any UC's in California in the future? Any advice for upcoming transfers, experiences?
  15. Why does she feel depressed? There are many factors that could be the cause: family issues, appearance issues, emotional issues, and/or even relationship issues. Find out which one it is, pinpoint it and go from there. All she really needs right now is a good friend and possibly your shoulder to cry on.Keep us updated! It sounds serious, and if nothing seems to work... you can always suggest for professional help, and even a suicide hot-line which really helps.
