Hacking .. That's a term that is misunderstood by many people i guess. . (Myself included).First up, i have had many definitions regarding hacking.The first one being, hacking is a process , by which a person tends to get the best out of a device or a software system to get the maximum benefit from it. And that itself it bad , .. i have heard that because they say you cannot alter the state of a software unless or until you stay within copyright violation breaches of the software. For lot of guys at school , hacking was a matter of pride. they do it to establish their authority .. Key loggers, especially,.. The second hacking term i have come across is what many of us relate to , when we hear the term hackers . Yeah, the bad guys sitting somewhere , trying to inject malicious code into your computer. Or trying to remote access your computer without your knowledge. Well, as a matter of fact this second definition also seems to be a variate of the first one. Here the hacker seems to tweak your computer rather than his, and instead of improving performance, maybe he is degrading it. This type of hacker is the guy who is responsible for companies like AVG or Norton to be up and running.. The third thing i have heard is ethical hacking. Ethical hacking is something which people do for good. For instance you can become an ethical hacker seeking vulnerabilities on a web server. There is a proverb that says "You have to be a thief to catch a thief". So, this applies to hacking, supposedly,. So, this way, you get to be the bad guy, go on and detect the possible ways your system can be affected, and then step into the doctor's shoes, finding or developing precautionary measures.Whatever hacking might mean,.. I do not think that is something i would appreciate much !!

30 Gigs.. Sounds fun.. I would stay with gmail at the moment, though. . They are coming up with a plethora of free services and they all come with a single account. Recently, i saw an ad by rediff. Rediffmal has started offering unlimited mailspace . So, your email inbox size is not restricted to any size . I think that would put a full stop to other email storage space claims. Let us see how the cyber space aapplication developers go on and exploit these offers.Already there are applications like Gmail drive which helps you to exploit the gmail space and store your files online. So , with rediff offering these services, i guess we could have more options with online file storage.Though there are offers like this rediff one available, i would stick onto gmail. Think of the gtalk and gmail integration. It is the most useful thing you could possibly get .. Whenever i access my gmail inbox, i can simultaneously chat with my contacts. There is no need to download the gtalk instant messenger. And gmail for mobile makes life even better.Mailbox size is just one of the many advantages going with gmail i guess. If i remember correctly, it was gmail that started the GB storage scheme. Yahoo used to give 4 MB storage. But once Gmail was introduced, yahoo too, started increasing to 6mb, 25 mb, 250 mb, and now 1 gb,. So it was GMail that started it, and it is still introducing many other features to go along with your gmail. Search history, orkut, and many other services from the google labs has really made google what it is today. So, as far as email is concerned , at the moment, it is google i suppose.

While agree on the part that working out to prove to others that you could slim down , might not be the best possible thing one could do,.. I think it might not be the only issue to care about. I think fitness comes first rather than people who could comment on overweight people. So it is a matter of personal fitness , which would make a person work out or not.

Yeah i completely agree !!FOXIT reader has replaced Adobe Reader on my pc for the past one year .. My adobe acrobat reader was so too start up and whenever i wanted to open pdfs , it was an annoying experience for me. Then, i searched for a better, free pdf reader and came across Foxit. It really was wonderful, and still is. It opens pdf files in a fracion of a second. Very small in size too. We can download the setup in no time practically and get started with it.For those who hav not tried it, i think it is worth a try

WOW WOW WOW !!!!That was my first reaction when i saw this thread .. I saw the movie Vanilla Sky casting Tom Cruise .. In the movie too, the events and the story are based upon Lucid Dreaming. He opts for a Lucid Dream programm from an organization called Life Extension in the movie. I do not know what Lucid dreaming really is.. But according to the movie, one can go back to a particular part of life in their memory, and resume living the rest of their life from that point in their dreams.. This dream is monitored by the "life Extension" staff. The person's sub concious mind has a lot do do with how his "Lucid Dream Life" proceeds. Since all the characters in the new dream world are created for the person entering into Lucid dream, they can be influenced by what the Lucid Dreamer thinks. I saw this movie and was wondering how good it would be if we really do have a technique like this. This thread seems to be something amazing in that regard. Anways, i have to check out what it is really all about.

He he .. . That was really funny !!! Good work there by the webmaster . What i really like about that site was , it had a microsoft feel to it. Also, the integration of firefox and Internet Explorer logos was perfect. The product box was also designed to perfection.The way the content was organized was also attractive. i get the feeling that the site is soo good that , definitely some people , if not many, would fall for the prank. Is this browser an open source project ?? I feel, if it is not open source, then it might not be able to make waves in the market.. According to me Opera is a browser as good as firefox. But i feel firefox has the edge because of the extensions available. And also the add ons one can install to their firefox browser makes life better .. I will wait for swift and see how it goes.

I am a big fan of meebo.. That is because it helped me a lot out at school. At school, messengers like yahoo and Rediffbol wee all blocked. So the only way we could get in touch with our yahoo friends during schooltime is Meebo. !! What is fascinating about using meebo is that we can log onto multiple accounts. That was really something very useful for me .. And moreover i feel it is pretty fast too ,.. keeping in mind some of its rival sites. MEEBO definitely rocks !!!

I think the problem with many people might be that , they keep on thinking that they should not think of anything ... And it is definitely hard to meditate when you are in that frame of mind . Try to take each sound around you as a music and try to enjoy it , .. Slowly imagine you are turning down the volume around you as if you were having a remote controller,\. Imagine that, as you decrease the volume you get into deeper state of meditation. You are always in control of your senses here. I started meditating this way. Another good way for people with distractions is to get an audiotape to help you in your meditation. Alan watts meditation tapes were great. You would google the word "meditation" and find few links where free audiotapes can be found. i think learnmeditation.com has some amazing ones. First up, the thought of going in for ipod rather than an ordinary mp3 player, is a great decision. I ahve got a basic IPod shuffle, and really do not find it sufficient. So, i would suggest you to go for atleast the 4 GB model. I have heard that Microsoft has also released a ipod like device. Maybe, you should get to know about that device too . See what that gadget has to offer you, and decide between the Microsoft's mp3 player and IPod .

I have learned in my physics class , that holographic storage can be used to take 3 dimensional pictures. So, i think this will work on a principle similar to that.Interesting,. I am eagerly waiting for blue ray discs to take over. But , if things like holographic storage come out, i guess our CD Roms might be somewhat like the floppies we use these days, and the floppy disks.. they would be made available at antique shops , probably..

I always use cloves, when i have a toothache. It is really good for teeth .. Most of the toothpaste , uses cloves in their formula. And it has something good to do with digestion, apart from providing the flavor , i suppose .

I really wonder, if there are websites giving away free domains ever , ?? Even , if they do give out some, it is not a top level domain. Say like , .tk, and .co.nr. And that too with some limitations. Dot tk places an ad before your site loads, and .co.nr demandsyou to link back to their site , by placing a small logo of theirs, on your site. There was a site which i got a free domain from ... It was a forum, like Xisto . It followed a similar idea, of gving credits for posts .. If you have got enough credits, you can register a domain for one year.. now that forum is closed. I have also registered free .info domains from a site. I read about this site, on a magazine, and was really excited about it. I immediately logged on ,and regiestered few .info domain names. But then, i faced the reality,.. They demanded cash for setting the nameserver address !!! And, that cost was almost equal to the price of the domain , itself . I have not come across a site which could give you a completely free domain, without ads, or demanding links, back to their site. And, yes, i have searched a lot , in order to find one. So, for people who might be looking for free domains,. I suggest you people, to better buy one. You can register domains for as low as 2 $ (With Yahoo, i guess).. Godaddy.com is another place where you can get them cheap.

Yeah, it does annoy one, if people get more merit than they deserve. I knew one guy , who used to boast as if he was the best web designer ever, When i visited his site, it was the most crappy site one can find. Built with yahoo geocities page wizards !!!I do not mean anything ill of yahoo geocities ,.. But just the attitude these people develop, after building a basic site with help of page wizards. I think ,,it has something to do with their excitement levels. When i built my first html page, i was on cloud 9. Then i started putting up very basic pages with handmade html ,using notepad. Later on, i developed pages with dreamweaver, which i am using till now. At that stage, i thought page wizards were childs paly. Later on, when i started editing templates to build sites, i thought those hand made html pages i built early , did not make sense. Now, that i am creating custom made sites, templates , are not great ,these days. So, probably, it is just a matter of web designing knowledge involved with the people who perceive it , i suppose !!!!

I had a look at your site. Have you added your url to google , by yourself. Maybe, your site had been crawled by a google spider, through some page here at trap 17, and then got kinda outdated. I guess, your website should show up if you had posted your url at google. If you have not yet, you could do it at https://www.google.com%2Fwebmasters%2Ftools%2Fsubmit-url&followup=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2Fwebmasters%2Ftools%2Fsubmit-url Once you do this, i am sure , you would notice your site showing up in some time. . But, if you want your site to be shown up at top ranks, when you enter some keyword related to your site, i guess, it needs lot more than some 10 thousand posts. You should start concentrating on meta tags, advertising, external linking, banner exchange, etc.,.. What they refer to as, "Search Engine Optimization" Good Luck ,with your site !!!

Psychiatry or Psychological sciences are quite useful , as far as i am concerned. It does help out people , who need it badly. Say for example, a person who decides to commit suicide. For him, a good psychiatrist could show a new world, where he could realize what life really can be ... I think the word psychiatry is wrongly perceived by many people. If you visit the psychiatrist ,Most of them could probably start assuming that , there might be something wrong with your mental health , .. or maybe m you are even mad .. That is the basic reason, why psychiatry is misunderstood , i guess.Maybe, we should start referring to psychiatrists as counselors , or by some other name,..

I have not read any Harry Potter book yet . But i have watched all the Harry Potter Movies. The last one was really superb. Especially , that Quiddich World Cup scene , was just fantastic. Really good special effects, in that movie. I think it's time for me to get a copy of Harry Potter book, and get started. The amount of hype it generates is something unbelievable , for me !!! Does it really deserve the hype surrounding it ?? Obviously, the answer would be yes , from Harry Potter fans ,.

I agree completely !!!! I guess, you are not the only guy who feels he is atleast 10x times better than his computer teacher. But , as a matter of fact, i guess you have to accept and live with it , in most of the cases.. I had the same situation in my high school. Infact, we had lab classes ,where we were asked to write some C programs. As i already knew C programming, i started doing the programs my teacher gave me using functions. But i was cursed for doing that, just for the simple,plain reason that my teacher had not taught me functions yet !!!! Damn it !! What do you do with these people ?? IT is really absurd . I guess, these are certain obstacles in life, which you need to cross, to excel.. But, now that i have crossed those barriers ,in school life , i face couple of such obstacles in my college life too !!!!! Some things in life ,just dont change, do they ??

Hello ,. I am trying to install a game script on my site. I am new to creating mysql databases and adding tables to them. I kind of tried and went through most of the procedures without any errors. But i am stuck up in one place, where i am trying to add games to my site through an admin control panel. Sounds interesting. I have experienced it may times. It is really , something strange. It makes me feel, i am in that place , doing things which i have already done there many times before. On watching the movie ,Matrix i really started believing there might be something more to it. That too, when Neo is informed by the Oracle , "You have already made the choice. But you are here to understand , why you made it. " I spent sleepless night thinking over this !!!!!!!!!

I would recommend the Moto A780. I have been using it for about a year,. It is quite cheap too .. The Moto A780 a.k.a The Moto Whiz is a touchscreen phone. It has a Linux OS . It has GPS capabilities. It also comes with a 1.3 Megapixel Camera . The physical strength of this phone ,is something really amazing. I have dropped it down, at least ten to twenty times, on pretty nasty and rough surfaces. Though , it suffered minor scratches, the flip is as strong as ever. If you are thinking about a flip phone, i strongly suggest you to take home, a Motorola device. Nokia flip phones, are not worth it i guess. I have seen many nokia flip phones, having their flips ,distorted ,pretty soon. Though, the user's handling contributes to it major, i guess, the brand does make a difference .
