Trap17 is good enough to have many of those mandatory applications installed in the server . Anyways, i recommend you to proceed with the installation . If there is anything missing o the server ,you are bound to see some error screens .. You have commands for checking php versions - phpinfo() ... So maybe you have other commands to check other software versions.. Anyways not sure about that.. And you can always ask the admin or moderators.. I am sure they would have the answer for you.,

You get around 150 MB in your default package. As you have mentioned that you are running a forum, it will usually take some space around 20 MB initially . First up, you dont upload anything to your cpanel !!!! You upload files on to the server via the cpanels file manager .. Say, just like you burn files from your hard disk to your CD via a program like Nero .. The cpanel is just like Nero here... It is a program which allows you to transfer files from your hard disk to the server where your site gets hosted. You can use your cpanel for lots of other functions as well ... From then on, the disk space you use, gets on increasing whenever you upload a file via ftp or file manager . The posts your user posts does add up to the disk space as,whatever gets added is added on to your disk space ... But as a matter of fact, the posts that users post does not affect your Disk space much .. In fact it would be very little and negligible if you are under the 150 MB plan. So , unless you upload additional files say, your personal data, zip files, etc.,, your disk space available would probably be sufficient for you . And if you are keen on running a single forum alone, without any uploading of additional files on to your account space, i suggest you stop worrying about any of these issues .

I think the interface ove there at present is more than enough. The process page is hardly used. We use it only once in a while. And even i think too much of graphics could spoil things up. Say someone is working with a low bandwith . During the process of sign up he or she might get stuck up during the sign up process with the page taking too long to load . And that 's the way sign ups are not meant to be. One would definitely favour a fast and easy processing . So my suggestion is to keep the current interface as such . And its not that bad either !!!!

It is in the name itself ... You get paid some amount of money for each click on your ad. Another type is Cost per impression.. Here, you will get some amount of money ,once a particular ad gets displayed for say x number of times. I have been using adsense for quite some timenow.. And i have never come across the fact that google pays for cost per impression .. Google pays only for Cost per click.. And that too, they have an intellugent system to track down invalid clicks.. By Invalid clicks , i mean a same person <- snipped -> continuously for the sake of increasing his adsense balance , and similar stuff... There are people who have got their accounts banned for such malpractises i believe.,}

Security related sites ?.... I use symantec's site to get any fix tool if i need them . They also give a good description of what virus you might have and how to effectively remove them.. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ you can probably get the rmoval tool for any virus you come across . Simple ,fast and effective ,. So it easily ranks as My favourite site !!!

I dont use much of antivirus and anti spyware stuff.. What i do is keep my zonealarm firewall up all the time. And seriously, i dont get infected with viruses that often . I believe if you get your firewall up and running all the ime ,especially zonealarm , it is almost imposible for an intruder to gain access to your computer . And another advantage is that ,you may not be wasting yoyur system resources on your antivirus programs. Zonealarm hardly drains your system resources .. But , you might be prone to attack via other devices, say you get a virus from a floppy , or a usb mass torage device ... The antivirus is the only hope to look upon then,,,

As time goes , hackers find their own way of getting their spyware and adware into other computers. I never experienced any such attack through my browsers yet. Anywway, thaks for the info ..

I am in a way , addicted to computers 24x7 .... I spend most of my time listening to music., sometime play games, etc.,, What do my relatives think about it ??? Nothing ,seriously...I dont think they should have any opinion regarding my ativities in the first place. And my friends too dont say anything regarding it .. I suggest, you to use IPB itself. It has a neat interface and the system is pretty secure too. So, maybe you should use IPB. DO google for free scripts . YOu will definitely land on manyt scripts . But still , i dont think you will find any Bulletin . There are also many skins for these being made available today.

Those disks can hold terabytes of data i guess.. So maybe it would make us bid farewell to our Cds and DVDs.. But i dont have any idea about the seek time it would have. If it has a good seek time, then maybe it would be one of the biggest product to get introduced.

C is definitely a good language to start programming i suppose. Once you get strong with c , you could start playing with C++. Bothe have an ocean of possibilities to work with. At the moment , i am using C++ . It is great to use it as it is t oriented. You can do lots of programs in C like Games, an editor software package and so on. So there are many area you cna deal with.

I got few templates from the site http://www.interspire.com/ when i started web designing. They were simple to edit and were looking professional . So, i guess you could find what you need at that site. I read that you have found a template ,but maybe you should have a look at those too....

I suggest you better look for alternative methods for cooling down your system. Why would you want to trust water cooling when there are better methods available... MAybe if you have seen someone really satisfied with it give it a second thought ..

I used to be a victim of computer crashes. But its probably the RAM who is the culptrit.... If you have sufficient RAM running on your computer, you should be able to get rid of the annoyances.... So, for those people who have had enough of computer crashes., upgrade your RAM...
