interesting find... this stuff has been around for years but this seems pretty "realistic" But seriously, though. It'd be fun to try, but what about going outside in REAL LIFE??? Have people completely forgotton that life isn't a game... or perhaps life should be more of a game and not so much stress... and then again Virtual Reality Pacman might be really stressful... or maybe I'm just confusing myself... anyways, nice find.

Exactly! I agree completely. Also, I agree with the "just talk to her as a normal person." I used to be the same way. Not quite sure what situation this is in so can't say exactly - high school or college, perhaps... I dunno... Girls aren't mean and evil for the most part - they'll be nice. I had a friend ask out a girl he had absolutely no chance with... he's kinda a dork, if you get what I mean, and I don't even think he'd mind me saying that... (and honestly, that's being nice) Anyway, she said no, but she was absolutely gracious about it and all nice and said "maybe some other time, I'm gonna be with friends then, etc." and all that stuff, but my point is she won't tear your heart out or embarass you in front of everyone... that first step's a big step - just take it.

What Do You Think About My New Webpage
cangor replied to jarro2002's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Very nice. Like Plenoptic said, it looks very professional! -
Quote Absolute: L@tS0fcH4r5_|v|4kE490oDPA5Svv0rD^?Actually, this is pretty easy to crack... it's made of dictionary words all with alternate representations - you can code a program to take that into account. Maybe you've even prompted a hacker to create a program that does that. Plus, you wouldn't remember the capitalization... I hope. :(Also, "CircLEsarEfun57ILIKETrainS" or the such is not a good password either because it is made of dictionary words... programs can get around this.A good way to make a short password is to make up a word:e.g.Aedapathat isn't in the dictionary...homevti is not a good pass because it is mostly a dictionary word...also, ylper (reply spelled backwards) is very easy to crack because programs check for words spelled backwards...Eventually any password is crackable, but if it is 15 letters or longer for a windows password, it takes months to crack. I mostly know about windows password, but the easy-to-hack hash type can only go up to 14 letters, after that it is much harder to crack.Hope this helps someone...

Very true, this seems like an excellent service... and one to keep in mind as a web designer. Congrats on the find!

I can't believe how hard I am laughing reading this. Interesting stories, guys!

you should be able to right click the icon for it and click format, even in windows XP hope that helps, but it seems that that might not work either... good luck.

I personally think that teachers should be reviewed yearly by both the school board and the students. At my high school there are teachers who you can have for an entire year and not learn a single thing. If teachers were reviewed teachers as a whole would strive to be better educators. Nothing is ever that simple. Also, my brother attends a school which has one of the highest average professor saleries in the nation. He has had good professors, but he has also had NIGHTMARES... Teachers like that should not be allowed to be, uh, teachers... You shouldn't pay $40000/year to go to a school just for the name but get a lousy education.

IMHO, Apple is pathetic. The only thing that keeps them alive is the iPod, a device which is terribly overpriced and lacking in features. Their computers have few nice features, are super expensive, and SLOWSLOWSLOW...

Here's my 2 cents worth, coming from someone who has been making games ever since I knew how to work a computer:There's no free program that can get you anything near what I would consider decent. There are several out there, but the end product will ALWAYS look like junk.Blender is a decent 3D modeling program, but let me warn you that 3D Modeling is FREAKING HARD!!! It's taken me forever just to be able to do something that looks semi-professional... And that's using a real program like Maya or 3DSMAX... I've only used Game Maker for 2D games, but it works well for those. When I first started making 3D games, I used DarkBASIC. It is an excellent choice and can create some decent looking results. However, though I hate to dash your hopes, it's impossible to create a professional game for the computer on your own. You could have done that ten years ago, but no more. Games nowadays are created by teams of hundreds or thousands of professionals. When I was younger I thought I could create a professional 3D game as well, but let me tell you from experience - It's not gonna happen. It's not possible anymore. Sadly, the days of indie PC development are over. It is for this reason that I have moved on to developing for the GBA... I can create 2D games that are state of the art.But seriously, you're not gonna be able to get money out of a homemade 3D game... Sorry to be so blunt... Now go outside and have a wonderful day...

Seriously! People do the dumbest things! Just the other day when I was grocery shopping I was asking for a price check on an item - the price check person came back and said "I'm sorry, sir, but we're all out of that item." So what if it was their first day on the job... Sheesh! People are Idiots! Am I overreacting? Another time in a different store: I set my basket thing down and some moron accidentally picked IT up and left THEIRS behind... I spent ten minutes tracking them down... Here is a list of similar situations I found at some random website: ---------------------------------------------- Am I the only one who sees this stuff every day? Notice from KuBi: Quotes added

I had to do a short essay on it for History - great book, really enjoyed it. Movie's good too.

There are many SAT prep books which seem to help - my brother was valedictorian but only got a 1260 (out of 1600) on the SAT, some people just aren't test takers... As for reviewing for math finals, just sit down, go through all the chapters the final covers, and do every problem. Alternately, if you don't have a s***load of time on your hands, talk to a friend or someone who has already taken the class and ask if they can help you study - it's worth a shot...

But then again, religious wars will never end as long as there is religion... While the world without religion wouldn't have religious violence or discrimination, there would be violence based on the lack thereof.

Yeah... and MSN hasn't been doing much to combat the fact that Google is besting them in every way possible...

Xbox 360 Vs. Playstation 3 The good and bad about each
cangor replied to SoCalAztec's topic in Computer Gaming
I think the PS3 is going to be a better system but Sony really botched up by not releasing the PS3 earlier. By the time the PS3 comes out the X360 will have the market cornered. Also, I don't see a whole lot of conversation about Nintendo's Wii here... Sure, they're not claiming that it is going to be super-powerful, but as they put it at nintendo, gaming is about "having fun..." -
Gmail's almost at 3GB and I like the nice, clean interface. Hotmail drives me crazy. Hate it, plus their spam filtering isn't as good. (IMHO) I've used hotmail for a long time, but the 250MB is just to little. I can't believe they haven't raised the storage in such a long time, and the interface is awful. I can't stand all the ads...

Personally I think that the world is better with religion. Both sides have compelling arguments, but I think religion gives many people a reason to live. Also, though many wars have been caused by religion, they shouldn't be. Some people are so convinced that they should force their religion onto the rest of the world that they have to start a war over it. Also, the holocaust was, by definition, not a religious "war" - it wasn't really a war in the first place but a genocide, and it wasn't based on religion, but on race. Religion also gives many people a code of ethics and morals, though I have seen many people who give their religions a bad name by being dishonest. Also, I think anyone who says there haven't been many religious wars obviously doesn't know their history. (See:Jihad) My final thought: Everybody should be allowed to have whatever religion they want without it affecting their relationships with other people. I'm christian and I have friends who are Islamic and others who are Bhuddist and we're still friends... Sadly, the world isn't a perfect place...
