To make sure you actually can download something with bittorrent:1. Use Azereus, uTorrent, Bittornado, or even Opera 9's client. The original bittorrent client on bittorrent.net does not support UDP which is used by many trackers. 2. Look at the number of seeders if using any tracker except the pirate bays. If there are seeders, you can download. The pirate bay never shows the correct number of seeders. If you do so you can have a successful download. I don't use the pirate bay anymore because there are always torrent newbs that never seed to 100%, which is a courtesy that keeps the torrent alive. People at Demonoid, and Isohunt are much more courteous.

Vista is just a Mac OS X clone, only it wastes more system resources to do effects that do absolutely nothing but waste processor power when your playing games. I'd hate to see how much power Vista's explorer will eat off my processor, the performance in playing games without it is already fairly dramatic.

EDIT:I see somebody got to the point before me... Emulators are free. All emulators are legal to own provided you own the game and the console, but then again, why use the emulator unless you're a college student who wants to play an old saturn game on his laptop. PC emulators work on the same concept, if you legally own the PC then you can emulate it legally.

Those sites are dumb. My friend was suckered into one of those. A friend needs to give them your e-mail before you can get the iPod. I emailed telling hime he was going to get suckered in from it, and I never clicked on the link from the mail.

I feel this batch of consoles is not as good as any other generation of consoles in history. Who names a console Wii? The Revolution was a much better name. The PS3 is too expensive. The 360 isn't innovative enough. It doesn't use blu ray or HD DVD technology, which will severely cripple later games that require more space for highly detailed character models.

Doesn't affect me. I abandoned the Pirate Bay because there are too many leechers that won't seed to a 100% share ratio. That's why I use Demonoid.

Well, though a way for such things has never been discovered, I'm giving my idea for a perpetual motion device, though it was originally thought up as a device for overunity.It's pretty simple - attatch a generator directly to an electric motor, then run a cord to the electric motor, and hand crank the generator to start it.Anyone else have an idea for a perpetual motion device?

Runescape is cheaply made, repetitive, and downright boring. The most appauling thing is there lack of respect for proper spelling and grammar.

vBulletin is a waste unless you have a large community to manage. I feel for more hobbiest type sites XMB, IPB, and SMF would be adequate.

Try the built in client in the Opera Web Browser. There's also Mozilla Thunderbird too if you want one seprate from a browser.

Duke Nukem 3D with HRP was the best FPS I've ever played. Resident Evil I for the Saturn comes in at a second. RPGs really bore me, though.

I use lycos for only a mail account - so far nothing has happened(for a year). Maybe you should contact Lycos about this problem.

If the Republic is to succeeed, you need a person with a nuetral opinion who would only base the decision on the pros and cons of each option. We should get rid of this Liberal/Conservative Democrat/Republican junk and get people who can make decisions without going in circles.
