I do agree that it talks away variety, but it's there other things that make us distinct, like our culture, clothing, and religion. I think it would be nice if everyone actually agreed on something throughtout the whole world. It would bring us together in a way. There could be like a universal law to only speak this one language. Heck, it would probably end wars because people couldn't come up with a secret language. I understand it would hurt us a little and make us more "boring", but I still think it would serve more positive than negative.

Wow, this is scary. I live in Colorado and am not too far away from this (about an hour). Our school didn't do anything though. A lot of weird things like this has been going on in Colorado. About a week ago a construction worker shot a man by the movie theaters that I go to, but they eventually got him. I hope they get this guy quickly and help the hostages.

Could you imagine the world just speaking one language? I have no clue what it would be, but do you like the idea or not? I think it would be helpful in some ways. It would save us all the time that we spend on studying languages and end some controversy. But I can also see some downsides. This would be a nearly impossible feat to achieve and would also get rid of the values the language had on the people. But, I still believe it is a good idea. There are many other things that make people diverse. Although it would be hard to do, I think we should have only one language.

I agree. I think that you are kind of like protecting her. You have become part of the family. Don't let it bother you. Wow, certainly some strong feeling there. I know many people that are like this. It's almost like a stage that everyone goes through. They doubt there religion and break off on their own. I believe it is just a way of showing independence. Since none of these religions or theories have been proven true, you have the right to believe whatever. Personally, I am Christian and do disagree with your comments, but that doesn't mean that I don't respect them. I like free thinkers and people that like to be different. When people say things like "God Bless You," people don't mean to offend you. It's common courtesy. Unfortunately for you, you can't really avoid it. It is just something that has evolved and become a part of this world. I do believe that there is a lot of stereotyping in this world. It's just what has become. People have started wars over these kind of ideas, but there is no point to them. Just because people believe one thing doesn't mean that they should make others believe something else. When I was riding the bus home this afternoon, I heard some weird stuff. This is what one guy said. Shut up I don't think is an innapriate word. Swear words have no purpose in this world yet are used everyday. Everyone is exposed to them, but they have no purpose but to harshly insult another person. Some words I am not sure if I would call swear words, but are definitely borderline. Mainly it just depends on how you use it. When you use the word He**, I have no problem with someone describing the place, but any other meanings are too cruel. They are typical words when you think about them. You say dam if you are talking about a beaver dam. Nothing is funny or bad about that. You are technically saying the word. It all just depends.

Well, there are many different types of Islam. Some I can agree with you that they are wrong. Some Islams just seem like they want to kill people, but this isn't a vast majority. Overall, most Islams are good people and have the right to worship who they want.

This is nuts! Are people seriously so mad about this death that they will kill sting raysover it! Steve Irwin helped us learn about the environment and the animals it held. What if he was shot instead? Would people kill the people that shot him? I don't see why fans are so mad. He wasn't that famous and it's not like the stingrays were trying to kill him.
