I used to play it like a year ago when this one kid told me about it. I must admit, I was addicted to it. I loved the fact I could keep getting better and doing more things. I stopped playing it about three months after I started, realizing how much of a waste of time it was like you did. I still visit it occasionally just for the heck of it. Not addicted luckily.

Another problem with the first one, besides the fact that it is impossible, is straws. The glass isn't tipped 45 degrees if you have a straw, and is usually not tipped at all. I like the second and third ones though. If it ever was made, it would be very expensive. Don't try it with alcohol like everyone else said. Pretty neat stuff, maybe you can invent it!

I remember this from last year in my math class. It was in the step when you canceled (x-y) I believe, because (x-y) is 0, therefore you are multiplying by 0 which would be 0. You can't cancel (x-y). Good one!

Never really got to know you either, but it's always a shame to see a member leave. From what I saw, you had some great posts and we will definitely miss you. Best of luck to you in your future!

Your last paragraph sums life up. What I look for in life is happiness, make a difference, and all around fun. Different people have different things they want to accomplish in life. For example, I want to be a teacher because I want to raise successful students and have fun around kids. Some people never think about what they are doing with their life. It's a shame really. I usually think about what I am doing everyday and trying to make sure I am on the right track to my future. Fight through the hard times and embrace the good times is my motto.

That's funny, because my social studies teacher (world geography) does nothing in class. Sounds like fun, but it's boring. We just watch videos and screw around, I hate it when it feels like you aren't learning anything. It must stink to get picked on all the time. Usually teachers pick on the stupid ones. Have you told him that you've already heard that lecture before? It might sounds weird to do, but it might help. He might ignore you and continue on boring you all or he might actually do something new. I don't know how to get him to stop lecturing, hopefully you don't have him for too much longer. You could try to switch out of his class, but that might be hard to do. Good luck with this and try to stay alive through all the painful, repetitive lectures.

Welcome LewisM! I think it's a bit strange that the introductions spot is far down and somewhat hidden in general talk. Anyways, sounds fun creating 3D models. Most people that say they are bad make really good things. Have fun around here and I'd love to see some of your work! Don't forget to read the rules!

What is your current one like? Are you planning on using it to enhance the quality of your games? There are a lot of good ones out there, I would stick with a Radeon 128 or 256MB. They are cheap and I have enjoyed mine so far. I would choose PCI over AGP too if you can.

This is definitely the wrong decision for your aunt. She needs someone else to drive her all the time. I know this would be a big pain, but she doesn't have much of a choice. I don't know who this "driver" would be(maybe uncle?) but the driver would have to be available almost all the time. Like ink said, seizures can be very dangerous and she doesn't realize all the lives she would be putting at risk by driving. Hopefully she will care about everyone in danger and herself and then she will realize she is doing the wrong thing. Very tough situation for you and your aunt, I wish you the best of luck with it.

This is the site where I got mine. Instead of quotes, it has a link you click on. I like it so far, it might be good for Albus's site and this site too if you are looking for something new

Welcome to Xisto Erin. Free hosting is very easy to come by if you just follow the rules and you should be just fine. So what are you like? How old are you? I'm 14 and a freshman in high school. Have fun around here and I hope you enjoy your stay!

Well you can't leave out the trailers, whether you like them or not. Without them, you wouldn't want to see the movie because you wouldn't know what it was about. They market towards teenagers because they are the people seeing most of the movies, so it makes sense. This movie doesn't look that great, partly because it's black and white which I really don't like. But, Jessica Alba always helps . Anyways, doesn't look that great to me from the trailer.

Futurama Or The Simpsons what do you choose
husker replied to Rap_Speedy's topic in General Discussion
The Simpsons are my favorite by far. I haven't seen much of Futurama, but it can't be as good as the Simpsons. Every episode guarantees a laugh and you can just jump into an episode, the don't follow a storyline or anything. It's a classic, how can anyone not like it? -
Welcome rsf! About the whole Runescape issue, just try not to talk about it too much, the mods and admins don't like that. Personally I am not a big fan. You should find this site to your liking, I have enjoy it for my 6 month stay. If you have any questions, just ask or look here. Have fun!

No surprise Albus has already posted here. I've never gotten into the books and haven't tried either, because they just seem so long. It would take me a long time to sit down and read 700 pages of a book when I can sit back and watch a 2-3 hour movie. So, I just watch the movies, although I hear they leave a lot out.

Wow, that is pretty neat. I thought it just took a snapshot of the page and stuck it in as the background, but I shouted on this site while it was being "attacked" and it actually showed it on the page. That's cool, but I got bored shortly after starting to play.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone that celebrates
husker replied to Plenoptic's topic in General Discussion
Happy Thanksgiving! Everyone has to eat as much turkey as possible (I know I will). I'm sure I will be watching football and eating, parting and eating, and eating lol -
Hola Ricardo! Welcome to Xisto. You speak pretty good English for someone that lives in Spain. I'm 14 and I live in Colorado, USa. Make sure you read the rules and have fun! Adios!

lol that's good jlhaslip. I kind of feel bad for Bush though, everyone is giving him a really hard time. Oh well, at least it's funny.

Maybe The Best Way To Ruin The World's Economy
husker replied to zeeman48's topic in Science and Technology
Interesting idea, but it wouldn't work. Plus, why would you want to ruin the world's economy? There are so many little things going on in the world that the economy factors in. If you want to ruin the economy, try doing something more realistic like bomb North Korea and then pure chaos would break loose. (well that's not very realistic either) The whole points thing wouldn't work because people advertise to get people to buy their product. With this points idea, the would practically give away their product. There would be no money to advertise and no need to. The economy can be stupid at times, but I don't think anything like this would ever pass. -
Welcome Mae. I'm 14 years old, so you got me beat by one year. Girly girly and punk rock certainly do not go together, I don't see how that works. I'm neither of those. Philippines sounds like a neat place to leave, off by itself. You should find the members here very nice. Have fun posting and if you have any questions just look here.

Well that's nice to hear. I haven't had a girlfriend yet, kind of because I think something like what happened to you will happen to me. There's no need to rush things in dating I think. I'd rather pick and choose the ones that I have talked to and feel are "right" to me, but I will still probably have some problems like yours. Personally I think 19 is a little young to get in the marring mood, but what do I know lol. Well, it sounds like a bad experience couldn't keep you down. Nice story with a happy ending.

I agree with pat here. Don't bother her right now, she has enough to worry about. Give it some time, let it work out itself. The more you push her and ask her what's going on, the lesser chance you have with going out with her. It sounds like you are pretty close right now. She just needs some time to work out her own problems with her family, then she can spend some time with you. Hopefully all things will go well with you and her and I wish you the best of luck.

Welcome pat decor! Don't let the more advanced members like Plenoptic scare you, they usually know a lot about things and are very nice (shouldn't have used Pleno as an example lol). Anyways, there are a lot of people on here into anime (not me) so you should find some friends. Have fun and make sure you read the rules. By the way, no post counts spots may be your worst friend lol
