  1. First rule of life: nothing lives forever.Second rule of life: species have to bread to keep from going extinct. So how are chupacabra, big foot, and the abominable snowmen still around when there is no mrs. chupacabra, mrs. big foot, and mrs. abominable snowmen?I really don't know how people can believe in this stuff. Most of them are hoaxes, the rest are people on acid trips.
  2. My parents have gave my brother a rain check on a wii at christmas. So the second we find a store that has one in stock that we don't have to stand in line for, we're going to get it.I already bought my brother twilight princess for christmas on the wii, so we better get one soon.
  3. I use firefox because it is secure, I like the look, and most importantly it has loads of extensions.I have opera on my computer solely for testing how it renders my sites, but I will not use it because I do not like the look and it does not have all my extensions.
  4. I'd probably play a lot more console games, have a higher gpa, and be a lot more fit. The only draw to computer games is the online play and the online draw of computers apart from games is the internet and the occasional homework assignment. So I love my internet. It's sucking up my life, but in a good way.
  5. Most of my time is spent on developing and maintaining my site, but other than Xisto, I spend a lot of times on forums or reading tutorials.
  6. Protein shakes, building muscle, and eating a lot at meals too. There's no point in eating unhealthy food just to gain weight like some people said. You'll just be worse off than you started. Just eat more and work out. This will increase your metabolism, but if you eat more, these will balance themselves out, plus you will have gained some healthy weight. Also if you are really concerned about your weight, I know a friend who got some help from a nutritionist.
  7. Sorry for having to disagree, but you're only 13 man. You can probably only remember like the last 7 or 8 years of your life. It's way to early to label yourself as bi when you haven't even fully matured yet. Everyone was 13 once, and I'm sure everyone else will agree how naive you are when you're 13.And with the greatest amount of respect possible, isn't it a huge oxymoron to be openly bisexual and go to a catholic school? I mean, Christianity teaches tolerance, but I'm shocked that you are still allowed to go there.
  8. I'm against it. That whole playing God thing just doesn't seem right. Also in the mammals that have been cloned a large majority had serious problems with their organs and bodily systems. Of course the science is still new, but to me the end does not justify the means in this case.
  9. photoshopphp designer (just for syntax highlighting)dreamweaverI also code php in dreamweaver. It works pretty well and I'm not going to download another program that does the exact same as dreamweaver.
  10. In 2038 the world of computers will be completely different. And nobody will be using 32 bit computers anymore .I would think 2048 would make a lot more sense with the whole base thing.
  11. always use addslashes() to usernames to prevent sql injections even if your code doesn't allow them, because you never know when you'll accidentally type error prone code and not realize it.Also don't allow users to use their scripts on your site. I don't know why you would do this, but this is something you should definately NOT do.<?include($_GET['url']);?>if you do something like that anyone can include their site into your url and run scripts that query your database for passwords, steal your scripts, whatever.
  12. (X+1)^2 - X^2 = 2x + 1That's why.It's also the same thing if you do it a bit backwards. (You don't have to start with 7)7*7 = 496*8 = 485*9 = 454*10 = 40...the differences are 1, 3, 5, ...This one is like:(x+n)(x-n) where n is the difference between the number and the starting number is:X^2 - n^2and that brings us back to the first example
  13. I'm pretty sick of sites like megaupload and rapidshare especially who offer a decent service and then just get increasingly greedier as they become more popular. As they expand they should become more efficient and theoretically be able to improve limits. But now that they feel like they are peaking, it seems like they are trying to limit spending as much as possible.
  14. Ok thanks. I got the message again when I was writing some new code which I expected to still be buggy. I downloaded it just to see and the file it downloaded didn't have any contents. So I guess it's not a security issue, I just need to not release buggy pages so I don't annoy my users
  15. I'm pretty sure this is a problem with the server, not my code. But I'm open for interpretations.Randomly I'll be uploading php files, and when I try and view them it takes a little longer to load and then asks me if I want to download the php file or not. Of course, I don't want people to download my php files. This just happens sporadically, I won't get it for a few days, and then one day I'll get it several times.Anyone had this problem before, or is there anything I can do with chmod or htaccess to allow people to view the file, but not download it?
