  1. I have the first and the third one. The first time I play AOE 1 I got owned too, but you have to realize what's important to win. Get LOTS of villagers and then try building an army is my advice. I do think 1 is harder than 3. Good luck and keep trying!

    Nba Referees

Every ref is destined to make mistakes. They have a different perspective on the game. They can't see from above the court like fans at home can. Plus, fans seem to only notice calls that go the other teams way. Believe it or not, every team get some kind of lucky calls, even the Utah Jazz did in this game. You just didn't think of it as much. You tend to question the refs more when they make a call against your team.
  3. I've never played this game but I've heard a lot about it. I don't like the idea of this game. Like most videogames, it will provide no help in the future and won't even help you playing a guitar. I hate to break it to you, but there is a lot more to a guitar than five buttons. Go out and get a real guitar! Heck, it's only $50 less for a cheap one! Most people I know are addicted to this game which I find disappointing. Simple solution. Don't start and you won't have to stop.
  4. Not every female is going to reply to this due to their interest (may not like basketball). Coming from a male perspective, I don't think she should. She would get ridiculed by fans constantly. Plus, I think she would much rather stay at Tennessee. She has been there for so long, I see no reason why she should leave.
  5. Well, if I remember correctly, he has seem some people because he has been regarded as mentally crazy. I don't really want to see the video either. It would just bring up sorrow and hatred. Everyone has their problems, some worse than others.
  6. This was just a terrible tragedy. What is amazes me is here There has to be over 10,000 messages going out to the VT students in just one day. As sad as this was, it's terrific that the US is coming together. I don't think we should reflect back on this too much because we will just end up blaming ourselves. This whole event will be forgotten by those not directly involved in it in a few weeks. We will all move on, just like we did with Columbine. For now, my prayers and love goes out to those at VT.
  7. I think this is kind of a weird protest. I heard these two girls talking about it yesterday at my school and how they were going to participate in it. Quite frankly, I'm glad they are because whenever they are in my Ancient Civ class they just talk and talk and really disrupt the class. So I think some people that are doing this are really helping the cause, just making the people around them happier, but this isn't the case for all of them. They would get in trouble today because we are having a socratic seminar in class and if they didn't talk, everyone in the class loses 2 point on their grade for the seminar. Luckily I'm sick today so my grade won't be affected
  8. They really are a waste, but it love it when kids say things like, "GTA teaches me how to shoot people and I need to know that if I'm going to be in the Army." Like videogames actually help. But we play them for pure entertainment, just like a variety of other things. It seems like the more time someone sends playing videogames, the fatter and dumber they are.
  9. I usually spend around 2 hours or a little less per day on the computer counting my computer class at school. On weekends, I actually spend less time, like about an hour. My mom gets very angry when I'm on the computer too long, so I try to keep it on the down-low. We can and we have lived without computers for 1000s of years, and I think we could do so today. We would have to bring down these things called "books" from our attic and start using those.
  10. Well, you said you were in a fairly well educated school, so fight fire with the brain. Outsmart him in more normal terms. Set up some kind of trap that won't injure him badly, yet will still get the point across. If you want it to be better, have more people around so the bully feels more embarrassed and "gets a taste of his own medicine". But make sure to not let him know that you did it, or else you will be in big trouble. Hopefully this helps. If not, try t3jem solution, although kids tend to be like their parents, so the parents more than likely won't care.
  11. Actually, I've thought of why I laugh before. The main thing I laugh about is people's stupidity I realized. If someone says something like, "Isn't our president Superman?" then I will probably laugh. But, I think this is fine because usually the person likes the attention and sometimes continues to be stupid. Now, if you laugh at someone who just got hurt for whatever reason, that is rather cruel, but the person being laughed at doesn't seem to mind. Despite all of there pain, they think it is rather funny too. So, I would have to disagree that laughter is evil, but I don't think it's all that good either.
  12. It just depends on religion. If you believe in the supernatural, then you may deem this to be true. But if you think scientifically (like Tetraca), then this is very unlikely to be true. The "logical" answer to this is no (not that I'm insulting anyone's religion). Even though I'm Christian, I doubt this would be the date.
  13. Well teenagers are really smart . It's hard to blame Youtube for this because they just listened to what they believed was ABC. ABC should have been more protective of their letterhead and information similar to that. It's not that big of a deal to me, it's just Youtube lol
  14. I like lacrosse. I've never played it, because it's too hard for me! How am I supposed to catch the ball, let alone cradle? But I enjoy watching the game. I've been to three or more games and it's actually pretty exciting. It's very fast paced and sometimes it's hard for me to figure out who even has the ball. It's a great sport to watch for me.
  15. I've also been a big fan of Medal of Honor, and own three of them (I think). They are terrific games. This one looks to be pretty good also, but I'm not sure if it's going to be worth the $60. For now, Call of Duty will due.
  16. This comes as no surprise to me. Sony is trying to get more profits from the better one, assume their idea of "More people will buy it if it's cheaper" works. The PS3 has had to deal with some tough competition in the 360 and Wii that I think Sony wasn't expecting. I think it's a smart move overall.
  17. It thought the plot itself was rather stupid, but the movie definitely was funny. It was very weird with a chronically depresed robot, but he made me laugh. His monotone just cracked me up, and I don't really know why. You would like it if you had a good sense of humor, but if you are looking for something with more meaning, watch something else. That's just about the movie though, I haven't read the book.
  18. Welcome back savagemonkeyz14! It's great to see you back! Looks like you have some new interests. Great to have you back and read the rules if you forgot them!
  19. Merry Christmas! Dang, wrong holiday. Happy Easter to all!
  20. Usually people shouldn't mess with the food chain, because there can be some unpredicted results. However, I think that killing snakes in just that area shouldn't mess up anything. But salamanggkero brings up a good point. What happens if there is no more snakes to feed off of? The mongooses would have to be taken out. Then the snake population might increase again if some snakes managed to survive. I don't quite know what will happen though. It could be a big success or a complete failure.
  21. Blindly putting trust in our leader? We aren't a monarchy, we are a republic! If we didn't support Bush, then why did we reelect him president in 2004? And please don't tell me "because Americans are too stupid to figure out the real cause of 9/11" because, believe it or not, most Americans really are smart. The government wouldn't lie to us, I don't know why some of you have trouble figuring that out! There are plenty of Americans that would tell the truth if everyone else said a lie. Our government isn't as corrupt as some people believe it is. We would've prevented 9/11 if we knew it was going to happen (and yes I saw the video. I'm sure all of those things leading up to 9/11 have reasons why they occured, and it's not because of 9/11). Finally, why are we even talking about this? It already happened and it was a sad event. No need to bring up any more sorrow and anger about it. We can't change what has already happened. Sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings, I'm just trying to express mine.
  22. I'm agreeing with FolkRockFan here. You guys are basically telling me that 100s of Americans knew about this and no one planned to stop them. Do you think that all of those people hated America so much that they would be willing to hurt it? It's simply impossible. And if you believe or government is responsible for this, then why haven't you left the US? (I know some of you are from other places) Even though they were a lot of question marks in the video as to how it could of happened, there is even more about why America would have done this to themselves. It's because they didn't! I could find an equally bias video as this to prove to you they terrorists really did do this, but I'll let you believe whatever you want.
  23. Well I could post it 10 times saying that I said it, but someone would catch on that I'm racking up credits I couldn't even say it once. I don't understand why people are weird like this. I think you might as well call these people superstitious instead of Hexakosioihexekontahexaphobic, but that sounds cooler.:lol:Is any on here Hexakosioihexekontahexaphobic? Just curious, it would be interesting to hear their thoughts
  24. Don't let the past bother you. Tetraca advice is good and I would recommend following it. You made a mistake and there's nothing you can do. Learn from the past, and make sure similar things don't happen in the future.
  25. Here's my thoughts.I think your diet would work and probably does, but I don't like it. If you look at the food pyramid, grains are on the bottom and are the needed the most. I don't see why you need to take them out. It seems like the body would be damaged without them. Why not trying a balanced diet, with fruits, veges, grains, meat, etc. Whatever you believe that you can stick to. I agree with you about the pills. They are just plain horrible
