Hmmm... your Photoshop skills are excellent, but I noticed that you use tables and NO CSS. You should try to learn XHTML and CSS, this will make coding websites easier for you. CSS helps you to control the site more easily than the conventional code generated by Dreamweaver and FrontPage. As you mentioned, there are basically two packages available, but if you aren't interested in posting stuff on the forums regularly for hosting, I recommend you use Xisto - Web Hosting. Their microplan (or something like that) is really affordable -- $10 per year for 50MEGS of space. I used to have that plan and its really good if you are looking for a personal site.

Open Source means that anyone can edit the software/programs source as they want and they can use it however they want. Open Source basically means its a non-commercial, open-for-all software/program

It may still be a software issue. There are some very good Spyware removers out there, but they still can't get rid of all viruses. There is a very good utility called HiJackThis (don't worry, its nothing bad). You can download the utility at http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Save this file in C:\ and run it. Click on the 'Do a system scan and save a logfile' button. The program will do a scan and display all the running processes, and it will save this list in a .txt format and open it in notepad. Copy the log, and paste it here (in quotes) and then I can help you fix your computer. Cheers

The VLC Media player can play .bin files when the .bin file is an image of a VCD or SVCD.Also, I think the site you paid and downloaded from is illegal!! If a site has its downloads in cue, bin, iso format, its usually illegal (from P2P sources). PM me the URL of the site you paid for if you are unsure of the legality of the site .

I came accross this problem a few years ago (when I did not use PHP for websites). Here is a solution: FIRST, MAKE A BACKUP OF ALL the files you are going to use **VERY IMPORTANT** rename all you files to .php (using a mass file renamer) download this mass replace tool from <a href="http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/; target="_blank">http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/; Now, copy the header code of your website and paste it in a text file (notepad) Now open the replace utility from step 2 There are four fields in this utility: Base Path, Find, Replace, and extentions Under base path, browse to the location of all your site files Under find, paste the new header code (with the forums link) under extentions enter 'php' And for the replace field, enter <?php include("http://ojproductions.net/inc/header.php"); ?> Now, create a file called header.php and paste the NEW header code in it. And upload this file to a folder called 'inc' Now go back to the replace utility, and find '.html' and replace with '.php' (Since we have changed file extentions, we will need to change internal links.) Upload all the files to your server and it should work fineI reccomend creating a separate footer and header file and including them in the templates. Hmmm... isn't it better to get a good digital camera (like my 7.2 MegaPixel Sony Cyber-shot ) and then Photoshop the image to get a good effect like the 'Holga'. This way you have good pictures and the "dark, omnious photos" you want via Photoshop .

Well, it totally depends on the 'old' forum's SQL arrangement and it could take quite a lot of time to migrate the database of users if the forum system is really old and not well organized.
