  1. Not only that, but tabbed browsing is a miracle. The themes, the extensions, the security...it's all wonderful. And true...a post about Firefox should be in the Internet forum, not the Gaming forum. But I'm not nitpicky :0
  2. Sorry to doublepost. I can't edit, but the second URL is: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/. For some reason, my images won't appear when I go by the subdomain link.
  3. I'm not a fan of the nav-bar. The noise is kind of irritating and it doesn't seem to fit in with the site. You should use CSS instead of haphazard font colors. I'd be happy to help with the design and graphics. My website is at http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ if you wanted to see my designing. That's not the best I've ever done. If you want, you can also visit http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ - which I'm hosting for my friend.
  4. They're very lovely. I make horrible wallpapers, so I'm no standard of comparison. But I love your hue and saturation colors. Blue accents the fork very well.
  5. Hahahahaha! I'm a mario fan myself. I love it I like the swirl effect. Maybe a more bl ue and less sea-green color would be better, but otherwise, it's good
  6. But we don't know that. You could ask if you ever drop by there.
  7. What operating system are you using? If it's Windows XP, just right-click on the desktop and fix it in the Appearance section...it shouldn't be that technical.
  8. I don't think you want to use the word ambitious. It means daring. At any rate, if the money goes to cancer research, what does it matter if you spend $1 or $10? You're doing good for a foundation and the more money, the better it is for cancer research.
  9. My first site I hosted on Geocities. It was 4 years ago so I was either 10 or 11. I found my mom's HTML book and decided to get ahead of my Tech App's class. I could do forms by 7th grade and I was working on learning PHP and CGI...still not quite there, but I can understand it a bit better now. My intermediate intregrated technology into most of the core classes. To boot, we had mini-courses that you got to pick (4 or 8 every year depending on the length). I didn't start using Dreamweaver until late 8th grade, and although I prefer notepad, Dreamweaver helps me plan the design of my site. I used to love the colors "maroon" and "sage green" which I still enjoy...just not together. The site was blinding, but it served its purpose. Now at least, I have tendencies to actually use CSS instead of getting something that would break the W3C validator with its mistakes
  10. A paragraph is a complete thought. When someone else speaks, it's a new thought and you should start another paragraphy. It's how I learned it. An example would be this from my book:Grika sighed as Elodan?s face turned fierce. ?Those books do not belong in this region. Their words are false, their truths are lies?how can you read such text?? Jace turned his head downward as Elodan continued. ?Swear upon those false books you serve that you shall not recite them again in public. The council has meddled far too much in your life.? He reached and pulled the page from Jacedin although the boy made an attempt to save it. Crumpling it into a ball, he thrust it into the weak fire and the fire in turn fed from the paper blazing a little brighter. Jace made a pitiful attempt to knock it away but moaned as it crumbled into ashes. Those tearful pensive eyes turned towards Elodan?s retreating back, set in an unsettling expression. Grika whispered softly, her hand on Jace?s shoulder. ?Be gentle, Elodan. He is but a child.?Elodan turned to the old woman, disbelieving. ?Then, by god, let him act as a child! My life was not wasted among holy books and look what I?ve become!?Grika murmured. ?A right menace to us all?leave then, if ye dunnae wish to hear ?em.?Elodan turned towards the narrow curtain that separated the forge from the house. ?Grika, you head my word. This boy is the menace, not me. Young boys shouldn?t dwell on old books anymore than they should spend their lives in pursuit of knowledge. That is the state of the world we live in.? He approached Tanwen?s forge, irritated of the conversation, yet content that the only noise from the forge house was Grika banging on pots. He sighed contentedly as he felt the humid heat of the forge against his face. ?This is the way it should be. A pity, really?it was a pretty verse.?

Hey, it'd be a fast way to raise an army. Take one perfect specimen and replicate. It has its ups and downs, but if allowed only for medical purposes, it could work wonders.
  12. You shouldn't have to. If you've already been activated, you can start uploading.
  13. Want to exchange with me? I guarantee that your site will be displayed on all the pages of my site excluding my subdomains which I dole out to people who need time. Visit it at http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/. Sorry if it's messy. I'm starting to update everything.
  14. To upload, go to the file manager, and go to the public_html folder. Upload your things there. It's not hard to use at all. I would go ahead and click everything to find out what they happen to be. There are a lot of scripts and things you can install. If you need help, read the CPanel documentation. PM me if you have any questions.
  15. I've done that part, but I can't figure out how to let them log into their file manager or upload files to their appropriate folders. Since I'm hosting at least three sites for my friends, I set the quota at about 10 MB for now. But I hate having to have them send their files and have me upload them. Is there anyway to get around this?
  16. I would rate it at about a 6. Good idea, but you have a bit of difficulty creating one custom theme for your design. Be careful about copyright issues.
  17. It's just preserving customs and keeping someone there for the people to think about. Just a link from the government to the people, is all. Who doesn't want their country to be glamourous

I love how it helps save lives, but what I don't like is that you could have two identical people on the earth and that defeats the purpose of yourself being unique if they have your form and mental abilities. Also, people do graft organs and skin samples from dead people already. But wouldn't the brain cells be dead (not the tissue, the actual neurons) by the time you get to it?
  19. Try it from your CPanel. It has the ability to submit sites. And remember, Google only changes its index every so often, so you will have to wait even a little bit. I know mine appeared not long after I submitted it, but also because I have a weird and unique subdomain that would filter out a bunch of other sites :/
  20. Yeah, I was making the accounts. I want each of the people I'm hosting to have a subdomain which I've already set aside...but I'm not sure how to let them log in. Do they have to log in via the Cpanel?
  21. I would recommend hotscripts.com and also: make sure you don't load up your site with scripts! Keep it clean and easy to access!
  22. I use a program called Screenhunter by Wisdom-Soft because my print-screen doesn't work on default. I'm not sure if it's Linux compatible, but check it out. There's a free and a paid version. Both work extremely well for me.
  23. Welcome! You'll have a great time here. Best host EVAR.
  24. Baldur's Gate (All of them), WoW, and D&D
  25. I was wondering how I set up an anonymous FTP. I did it directly from Cpanel and I get a 421 error saying that it's not set up. I was wondering if anyone has done this before, and if so, could they let me know how it's done? I haven't messed with FTP accounts at all but I was hoping to set aside an area for a friend of mine to upload her pages for her site.
