Who's to say they weren't people out to monopolize on the gullible ancient people? Fables like those could be interpreted very loosely and how are we to say that any of them actually existed? Do we have proof? Is there some random archaeological evidence that can help us determine what really happened back then? True, there was probably a Jesus but was he really all some of us believe him to be? I mean, I believe in miracles, but not bringing people back to life and curing all sorts of things. He would have had to have some self-control over his conscience. Which is why it would suck to be a messenger of God. You not only get persecuted but you have a list of things you need to do that may take over (or end) your life. Think of how that could impair your personal life!

Ah, but you're not basing your statement on fact. How do you know that he or she DIDN'T have a good source? I mean, you're not giving whoever wrote it a chance either. If they did study something and they did write that, what do we have to say? I appreciate your attempt to defend your faith, but it's all a bit of fun so you need to calm down a bit. Odomike, your website is messing up in Firefox. Your headers keep ending up covering the right navigation menu. Also, you might want to stick with a color scheme and get rid of the random pictures that don't really belong there.

I think she has an incredibly valid point. I wouldn't call it something that requires theology - She's just sharing her opinion. You guys need to relax. I use them as a standard of comparison. I would definitely start out with a better video card. I believe you have the one you got with the system, which is meant for people who don't play games that require good graphics. Get an NVIDIA or ATI from newegg.com and have it installed or install it yourself. That would solve a lot of problems. Make sure you have enough RAM to run the game. I would say have 512 as a minimum. Since you have a laptop, I'd make sure you have someone professional to look over your computer while you mess around with it, or have them do it themselves so nothing happens. We all know that they can be costly to repair or replace.

Actually, you can. Being selective in your beliefs is probably for the better. I'm Hindu, and I absolutely love the freedom my religion gives me. I have a friend who's Christian who won't play D&D because it had "satanic" origins and won't give most RPG's a chance because of that. In Latin, we were having a Saturnalia party, which is like a Roman Christmas festival, but she was surprised that you could have a Christmas without Jesus...even though this was several hundred years before his supposed birth. I'm not a fan of creation science much either. I refuse to believe that dinosaurs still walk the earth and that mankind has remained the same for however many thousands of years it has existed. I absolutely love this post, Amby. Keep it up. Some of my friends would consider it blasphemous, but they can think what they want to. The religion has been corrupted by many, and those beliefs still alter people's views today.

What kind of site-creation thingy are you using? Your on-site CP was really confusing. You may want to switch over so we can get you that shoutbox - I found a bunch, but they're all vertical, and there's really no where to put it on your site with that type of CMS.

You shouldn't say that. The dog probably has a reason to be barking. If I were you, I would check out why it's barking all the time. I feel sorry for the poor dog that died. But back to the point - if the owners are abusing it by keeping it outside, you can complain and get it taken care of. That's best for you, them, and the dog.

I rather like fireworks. I made a lot of my recent sites in it after my harddisk crash. Anyways, click on the brush and go down to the properties thing and select the brush type, the size, the color, the texture. It's very easy to use.

I rather like it. The only qualm I have with it is the height - it seems to take up a lot of space lengthwise. But I really like the style.
