  1. The GIMP is probably the first one I can think of. Maybe, the only one - I dunno, I've never used any of them. If you want, you can get a 30-day trial of Photoshop CS (or CS 2) or Fireworks MX from their respective websites. But I've heard GIMP is good.
  2. That would be because you let your domain expire. If you didn't register a domain through Xisto, Xisto can't do anything about it. You'll have to find a new one and stay active as well as pay for your domain or whatever you did to get it. Your hosting account is still here, but you won't be able to have that domain name any more unless the person who owns it now lets it go inactive as you did.
  3. But there's no excuse for doing evil deeds or unlawful deeds. The laws I follow are my own morals, my common sense, and my country's laws. Well, most of them anyway. And Zacharias talks about "kamma". This is incorrect - it should be karma, probably. A brahmin is the ultimate caste because they are humble, they do good deeds, and they're content with themselves. My family has been brahmin for as long as I can remember - however, this doesn't influence me in any way. It's part of who I am, and I can't change that. What I can change is what I'll do tomorrow. There's this really annoying person in my Latin class. Should I truly tell him he doesn't have any real friends and that most of the people that know him talk to him out of sympathy? Who would say such a thing? It's merely common sense acting and telling you what is good and what is bad. For example, if you're taking a test and you don't know the answer, but the person next to you has left their paper uncovered, would you look if you knew you weren't going to get caught? Most people would say "no" because they feel they have the dignity and the self-control to be able to take care of themselves without anyone telling them that their sins "are someone else's". Those are my primary reasons for not believing evil is something that's created. It's merely a state of being, not an aura. Being psychotic, being hellbent on something, or being told to do something by a higher power (could also be a government thing) are things we exclude from our definition of evil because they can't help themselves. Or can they? In the state of mental patients, doing simple chores is hard enough. But what about thinking (easily one of the harder functions of the nervous system)? There's so much gray matter and areas we don't even know about. And yet they affect our senses in so many ways. Take Andrea Yates for example - she believed her children were heathens, and the "Devil" told her to drown them. She lived close to where I live now, so I heard more than my share about it. Yet, she was in trauma mentally. Regardless of the fact that she was a Christian, that was a violent sin and a brutal story. Yet she couldn't help it - her mind clouded her judgement and because of the stress on it, she committed the crime. And she was no stranger to death. I'll conclude it here. It's your mind, not anyone else's. Be strong and stand up for yourself - if you did a crime, let people know that it was you and no one else. Not God, not the Devil, not any form of creature can enter your brain and tell you how to live your life. What happens to you happens to you alone because of your actions. 'nuff said, it's your fault so confess it.
  4. Holy... OK, for one, punctuation is a must. You have at least three giant run-ons. Second, the races are Protoss, Zerg, and TERRAN, not terrain which is dirt or a landscape. It's not an army game. It's a strategy game. Also, what are ex people? But yeah, I was lost while reading that
  5. It's very easy to get credits without spamming. Review sites, signatures, wallpapers, and drawings (there are so many of them that it'll be easy for you to get sufficient credits if you put up a good review). You seem to like programming so you can help other people with that. But be careful about spamming
  6. Evil is not one of forces that was created with the beginning of the world. As a evolutionist, I can't believe that good and evil were there from the beginning. I believe it originates from your heredity and your environment. If you're exposed to violence from an early age, you can choose to reciprocate it or avoid it depending on your experiences with it. You act because of what you know, not because an evil force is guiding you. It's the same with several other "sins".
  7. It's not being manufactured yet. Nor will it be out for years if they get to it. World of Warcraft is their official first concern right now. However, it's very likely that they will continue Starcraft because the Diablo story is basically finished.
  8. Omgz I love you both - Panda for asking the question, and you palladin for answering it. I've been looking for that for ages to paginate my stories so I don't run into page after page of documents.
  9. This is the style tag you have in your css document: /*background-image: url(../grafika/tlo.jpg); background-attachment: fixed; background-repeat: no-repeat; background-position: center center; The tag that I use on mine is this: background: transparent url(images/background.jpg) repeat-y; So combining those two with your image, I get: background: transparent url(grafika/tlo.jpg) fixed no-repeat;background-position: center center; Try that out for size. Also, it would help if you made your images less blurry and your font more color coordinated.
  10. I would suggest a PHP include with CSS properties on your whole site. You can include it before the </head> document of your page or insert a <span class="whatever"> tag here. I'm sure you could find a lot of tutorials and practice scripts on line. Just make sure that whatever you make validates by W3 standards
  11. But see, the whole aspect of throwing your blame into a figure that may or may not exist is lame to me. Why wouldn't you believe that it's your fault that you...say...lied, cheated, and stole from/to other people? Technically, regardless of who put you up to it, it was you that did the act. Therefore you should be held for punishment, not God or Satan, Babe Ruth, or a yeti. You always have some limited control over yourself in the form of common sense and morals - not only Christian morals. And for all of you guys: This post isn't about where Jesus came from (and the whole "he is always here watching us" thing is kind of creepy) or what he did on earth. It isn't even about Jesus. It's about God, and not only a Christian God, although all our debates seem to lean that way. So ease up on that aspect of it. I'd like to hear more about it from other religions - I know that Hinduism preaches for you to do your dharma (duty) from birth to death, to be a good person to others, and to devote your life to good deeds. It'd be interesting for once to have more than an atheist/Christian P.O.V on this.
  12. It would help if you made the layout less confusing. Towards the bottom of the entry, you have a pile of links and then some random text areas with link-me images. If you organized them in bordered div layers, you might be able to look past all of it.Your site actually has 99 errors when validating, and your CSS has a couple more. Most of them involve you not listing a font family in your font: tag. You should put something like "sans-serif" or "serif" behind it, judging on the family. I like the color scheme - it's similar to mine, but the images beyond the header are kind of grouped together. It's almost like there's no seperation between the content and the navigation. Speaking of the navigation, the links are scattered in several places. Try to organize them better. The overall layout isn't bad at all. You've done a lot of work on the basic WP template. Nice job
  13. -The site was made on a 17 inch and it works well in the three main browers (Firefox, IE, Opera) - any specs on your computer, maybe?-They have both line-height (150%) and padding, but I could fix that on some pages.-It is 11 pixels -I toned down the colors - neutrals are easier to read on.-Yeah, I haven't worked on that in ages. It's all because of the background. The actual font is all right on a white background. -Thank you! That took the longest time
  14. OK, two things. One, you don't have a reason for saying that, and two, how is it wrong? This is a discussion not a yelling match. And tone down your language, sheesh
  15. Hehe, thanks! It's called emizfont and I got it from http://www.1001fonts.com/. It's a great site for fonts
  16. Those are kind of ewie to me. The textures are ugly and the backgrounds don't match with the renders, or if they do, they don't work well at all. Also, the text - this is Luki style. Same kind of font for all of them, same gel, but different colors.3/10
  17. You ought to check out our "Life after Death" post. It's basically Christianity/New-Age/Science. The scientific ending of the world is probably going to be nuclear before the sun loses its energy. As far as religious, I don't know. Hinduism tells me I have to wait for Kalki, the 10th avatar to purge the world. But I dunno.
  18. I've never heard of Goatse but Tubgirl. GAWD I HATE THAT PICTURE. My "friend" put it on his cellphone and passed it around the room. It's burned in my eyes, I swear.GAWD @_________________________@
  19. I remember the old days with Jordan, Hakeem the Dream, Clyde the Glide...but nowadays, the teams seem to be losing their luster. Good thing Houston has T-Mac or we'd be utterly lost -_-Also, I think you meant "the legacy of Michael Jordan", not curse. Because that would be freaking creepy @_@
  20. Hope I wasn't mean or anything. I just guess I had too much exposure to sporadic quoting today, especially in that homosexuality thread. The thees, thous, thines...ugh. It's only slightly easier on your eyes than Ayn Rand
  21. I can just imagine that conversation. [stuck in the desert without water, food, or will to go on] You: Someone save me! God! Please! I'm hopelessly lost! God: Er...you just passed up the Land of Milk and Honey. Is that what you wanted? You: ... perhaps *shifty-eyed* *giggle* that was a funny mental image.
  22. Koobster gets my vote. Luki tends to use the same fonts over and over again in varied colors. Which gets boring fast. Kubi's is well brushed and I love the text.I think the score is this:Kubi:3Luki:0
  23. I hate the text and the eyes. The eyes are really creepy but the text is just hideous. Plus, the size is too big. But I like the idea of the gradient. er... 5/10
  24. I'm afraid of a few things - cockroaches for one. I hate open doors and shadows. I'm afraid of being held from my dreams and ambitions, afraid of doing badly at something, afraid of losing my friends. However, I'm not afraid of death. It's a natural thing - I don't want it to happen until I've lived my life out, but I know it'll happen. Because I know this, I can't be afraid of it.I do believe in the paranormal however. It doesn't scare me, just makes me curious.
