no, i was clarifying your post. do i have to put it again so you could understand? i said i wanted to know what is its use, then you IGNORED the question, that's why i asked it again. you don't need to accuse me of spamming nor tell me that i'm asking a stupid question. most people in this forum would have responded properly on a question like that and not throw knives at people that reply to their topic. i find your attitude intolerable and to some extent totally annoying. see? you're actually judging me from something that's probably not a true basis of what i am. do you know why i use the avatar? do you know it's significance? no. i don't think so. because it's very clear that you're easy to judge on people based on what their avatar is. just because i put up an anime picture as my avatar, it doesn't mean i'm obsessed by it and it's all what i care for in this world.

lol i don't think you need a review. just the fact that we're here, is enough reason for you to get hosted here in trap. i assure you, you won't get disappointed.

i like the first one. at first i thought it was some sort of text graffiti but i couldn't understand it i was actually trying to find where the word is. silly me keep up the good work.

hmm... indeed. but i can't seem to think of any situation that it would clash with the credit system. do you mean code-wise? i might agree if it's code-wise. i think the credit system works separately with the database (with the former as part of the front-end and the latter as the back-end), and the credit system would only take effect as soon as it is published (just my theory though ).

What Is Your Website About?
master_bacarra replied to Albus Dumbledore's topic in Websites and Web Designing
now that i'm near my goal in getting a free domain and launching my site under that domain name, i'm doing a complete overhaul of the website. i'm currently hosting a blog right now, that i'm planning on changing the design by making my own wordpress theme. i'm also thinking of hosting some of the applications i've made when i was still in college, make an official website about it and stuff. as much as possible i would like to maximize my hosting account so i won't need to have accounts in different hosting services like photobucket. -
i wear contact lenses (but i have to buy a new pair soon) too, but i only wear them if i'm going to school, work or any special occasions. i guess i'm still a bit conscious of the way people look at me. i wear glasses, but it gets annoying at times because it usually falls off of my nose. i know the dangers of wearing contact lenses, so i might consider having my sight corrected using laser technology. the problem lies with the money

lol, i'm trying my best i realized some members seemed to be in need of a moderator's or admin's attention most of the time. they're like babies wanting to be carried by their mothers. it's nothing offensive though . it feels like it's always the moderators and admins who do most of the stuff (tending to everyone's needs, although i know it IS their job, we could at least lessen it). my thought of posting this was for practicality and convenience, not only to the topic starter, but also to the forum staff as well.

This is my very first game review here at Trap, so I hope you'll enjoy it. Game: Megaman Zero Mode: Single player Type: Action Platform: Game Boy Advance Released: April 26, 2002, Japan; September 9, 2002, North America Following the Megaman series released from platforms such as FamiCom, SNES and PlayStation, Capcom releases another, the Megaman Zero series, on a different console, the Game Boy Advance. The story takes off from where the Megaman X series ended, but this time with the different hero, Zero (oooh that rhymes ), whom we know is one of the protagonists in the earlier series along with Megaman. The Megaman Zero series' focus is on Zero, who is sporting a different look from that of the look he had in the Megaman X series. Although, he still dashes along with his Z-saber and cuts through enemies just like before. The game features a different set of enemies, new weapons along with some new companions (sorry, no Roll and Rush), and a new pet system called the Cyber-elf system. Gameplay: 8/10 Difficulty: 8/10 Sound: Well, Game Boy Advance isn't the best platform in the world, so the sound isn't that spectacular. 6/10 As the game starts, we are introduced to a character named Ciel, who is being hunted by an army of reploids under the government body called Neo Arcadia. She seeks the craft, which she believes supposed to contain Zero's body. Ciel is determined to retrieve the body and hopefully bring him to the Resistance Base, home of the reploids suspected of being Mavericks. Before getting corned by the enemies, Ciel succeeds in finding Zero's body and by sacrificing her own cyber-elf, Passy, she successfully revives the legendary reploid, Zero. Zero seems to have lost his memory after years of hibernation. She needs his help because he is the only one capable of protecting the Reploids from the Neo Arcadian subordinates. Zero agrees to help Ciel in the missions while he tries to discover his true identity and regain the memory he lost. When I first played this game, I was kinda disappointed with the transformation of Zero. I've been a Zero fan since the Megaman X series, and I took this as some sort of insult. He still had that spunk he had on the previous series, in spite of the loss of memory which made him look like a sober reploid (if there's such a thing). But despite that, I liked the overall look of the game. The artwork done on the characters looked more comic book-like. This goes to show that there are still amazing games to be played on the Game Boy Advance. There were a lot of changes, including the set of enemies he faces in this game. Instead of the usual eight minions of Dr. Wiley, the game has the main villain, with his four guardians, then there are some bosses in each of the missions. Instead of absorbing the abilities of his defeated enemies (or learning new sword techniques), he needs to acquire three element chips (fire, ice, thunder) to power up his weapons. Each of the enemies have some specific element weakness, which the game inherited from its predecessor. He also sports a new set of weapons (along with the infamous Z-saber): the Buster shot, which is more like a gun, as compared to Megaman's buster attached to his arm; the Shield Boomerang, which can be used for defense and offense (by throwing it ala-Captain America); the Triple Rod, which is a spear-like weapon and can be used on all eight directions (e.g., North, North east, East, South East, etc). The latter two is given to him by a reploid engineer named Cerveau. Each of his weapon has a skill level which increases as he continuously uses them, with each level allowing him to perform a specific attack (e.g., level 2 Z-saber allows him to perform a double slash---which, by the way was one major changes compared to the previous series). I guess the loss of memory brought to his loss of control over the weapons. By activating an elemental chip, he can infuse his weapon with the element, with each element having their respective effects (fire causes the enemies to... well... burn, electricity paralyses them for a few seconds and ice freezes them for a few seconds as well). These elements also give extra damage to the enemy compared to using the weapon without the element chip. Each mission is timed, which is essential in getting a high rank after finishing the mission. Getting the highest rank allows you to unlock secrets of the game later on. Once a mission has been cleared, Zero can visit the site by using the Trans Server to teleport to the place. The main change in the Megaman Zero series is the inclusion of the cyber-elf system. I mentioned that it's a pet system, in a sense that you feed them energy crystals (in the Megaman and Megaman X series, the energy crystals are used for filling up the bar for the abilities acquired from the boss enemies). The cyber-elf classification is divided into three types: Nurse, Hacker and Animal, with each type having different sizes of elves. Nurse elves boost Zero's health; Hacker elves help Zero "manipulate" the data during a mission (e.g., add more time for the mission, stop time); Animal elves support you during the mission (e.g., bird animal elves can save you from falling off a pit, monkey animal elves help you climb better). Larger-sized cyber-elves start off as a baby elf. You need to feed it first (using the Trans Server) with a certain number of energy crystals before it grows so you can use it. You need to download the elf (using the Trans Server) before you use it on a mission. Be careful in using them in missions, though, because they give deductions for every cyber-elf you use in a mission, thus lowering your rank. The bigger the elf, the bigger the deduction. Moreover, once you've used them, they'll die and you won't be able to use them again (just like what Ciel did to Passy). Overall, this game is worth the time (if you have time in your hands, that is). Even though the GameBoy Advance is quite outdated already, if you would like some old-school gaming, well you might want to give this a try. Whether you're a Megaman/Rockman fanatic or not, this game will not disappoint you. If you're into the storyline, it would be a bit hard to follow if you were not able to play the entire Megaman X series, although the game gives some "historical" points so you would have an idea as to what happened in the previous series.

so is there any scientific proof that it's good? i'm just wondering, since you think it's stupid, maybe you could put something up so you could back up what you just said. what's even more funny was you keep on saying that you doubt the credibility of the information given, but you want to keep yourself on a safe position by stepping back a little and say "they must just not". the reason you find that article on a kid's site is because it's an issue that is getting an alarming response from kids and parents themselves. sure some moms might think the sound is annoying or distracting, and that they use the "arthritis" reason to scare the kids from doing that, but i think they're only using that so kids would stop doing it and not ask any more questions. but the website isn't all hoax about the information, they even gave a few detailed information on what is happening when you crack your neck. the reason you find a lot of articles about it over the internet is because it's harmful (whether it does cause arthritis or not) and that's alarming enough to spread information on not allowing people to do it. it's not just because people put it up for the sake of putting it up and spreading the information over the internet. yes, ignorance is bliss. just because it's not killing you, it's totally okay to do it. the mere fact you're cracking your neck, you're already doing something that is harmful to your system. the effect may not be instantly, but you realize you've become this person who cracks his neck as his habit. like what i've said before, the muscle that supports your neck is the one that is being affected by this harmful addiction. and since you're neck is where your spine can also be located, you're doing something that might have a future effect on your spine. and just because it "may" or "may not" happen, doesn't mean you can be careless about it.

i realized while typing earlier i had the urge to find a "save as draft" button. i guess i was so fixated with my blog. but anyway, my point is what if the forum was to include this feature so whatever you write, you could save them for posting later on. i was thinking maybe some people would have some stuff to do and they have to shut down the computer (not everyone can leave their computer on, and that would be a waste of energy), but they have already written their topics/posts. moreover, some people would have second thoughts in posting their topics so they could save them and look at them later on if they want to post it.i know there are some tricks in allowing your post to be saved while you shut down your computer, like saving it on a text editor, or closing the firefox window through the task manager and reopening the session later when you restart your computer, but i think that's somewhat out of context with regards to the forum.i know that some of you might say, well there's always the "edit post" button so they could edit their posts later on, but that doesn't give them the opportunity to cancel something that they have said already (you know, some people might regret what they've said), and people might have reacted to it already. although i know this one would be a contradictory to the idea of the credit system for hosted members, but i think it's worth the shot.the preview button might help, but i don't think a lot of posters use the button to "actually" look at their posts and review it before they post it. i think this feature would be more convenient than let's say, a poster requesting a mod to delete his topic. that would be less clutter in the forum.what do you guys think? comments and violent reactions are welcome.

Evil Society Sigs Group 3
master_bacarra replied to Saint_Michael's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
cool. i like sylenzed's sig, but i don't understand evil doc's sig. i can't see anything clearly. and where's borda's nick on the sig? -
i'm sorry if i'm not as intelligent as you but i'm hoping you would try to understand that not everyone has an idea what other people are talking about. and if you don't have anything else good to say, i suggest you just shut it. i posted there because i wanted to know its use. i don't see anything wrong with asking a question. some people are just so arrogant thinking that asking a question is stupid. obviously i don't know anything about coin rings and it's just natural that i would ask what it is and what is it used for. and if you don't have any idea what happened earlier, i suggest you not to butt in. i don't post in this forum just to spam so i could earn credits. more than a year of staying in this forum has given me wisdom of how to post and the what's not of posting. so don't go telling everyone i'm "feeling a bit brown" today.

my city isn't really called a city (literally), and plus it still looks like a province (well it is a province). it's still a long way when it comes to the infrastructures. we only have some malls but it's very known to most of the people in the metro. there aren't many huge houses too. most people aren't that much rich (in our standards, of course). we don't have that much crimes and violent stuff going on. only those people who come from other places who try to destroy the silence. but that rarely happens.

Edit Both Edit title and description?
master_bacarra replied to TypoMage's topic in Web Hosting Support
well you could just request a mod to do it. although i kinda agree that the topic starter should have the privilege of editing the topic title, but the catch is that as long as there's no reply to the topic yet. -
what i meant was, what's the point of making coin rings. what are its uses?

i have never been included in a school fight. well if you say like a riot, punching and kicking fight, no. but some shouting, maybe. when i was in grade school, i shouted back at a classmate who shouted at me accusing me of something i didn't do. apparently, he misunderstood the situation. in high school, i shouted at some classmates for teasing and annoying me. i wanted to punch them but i couldn't. in college, i was an applicant in an organization when they had problems with another organization. there was some leaked out information that the other organization read and got offended. the information was supposed to be trusted to the students included in a private email group but someone in the group leaked the information. the two organizations had some eyebrow-raising at each other when they pass by their stations which ended up as some sort of mouth feud. words came flying out. later on it was resolved by both sides.i guess you would know how mature people in college. physical fights are immature fights. some schools have fraternities that use violence to let people know they're the best fraternity in town. and what's sad is a lot of kids die in those fights.

Relationship long distance relationships
master_bacarra replied to amist's topic in Dating And Relationships
there's nothing wrong with having a long distance relationship with someone. it's possible but it's very difficult to maintain. you have to have a great amount of trust for each other so your relationship would work out. it also has to be a two-way thing---both of you have to make the relationship work, not just you or not just her. once one of you starts to falter, then the relationship has to end. constant communication is the best way to keep the relationship going. it's going to be really difficult since, as a person, you long for that physical connection. you wanna see and feel so you could feel the presence. it's like saying about ghosts, "to see is to believe". it's good if you can travel just to see each other personally, all the longingness for each other would be relieved. but if you can't, any kind of material that would remind you of your loved one would be good (although i doubt it's enough, if it's really getting into you). -
i'm totally fine with plastic surgery, as long as i can pay for it. but i think it should only be done in moderation, meaning it shouldn't become an obsession brought by stress of wanting to look good. and like what one of the members said, plastic surgery would be good to those who have physical deformities that they want to have fixed.personally if fixing my nose would allow me to breathe better, i'll have it fixed. i'm not that comfortable with any kind of operations really, but i'm not closing my doors. i think that's my only reason for getting plastic surgery---for function, and not because i want to look better.

it's okay. i'm not really into their genre. but i've read somewhere over the internet that they are one of the most recommended artists for you to buy an album from.

my classmate gave me some tips on that and i realized it wasn't that difficult. a great deal of concentration and logic so you'd be able to answer it. i hope i could get some puzzles online.

How Clean Is Your Room? Mine is like a blizzard hit town....lol
master_bacarra replied to velma's topic in General Discussion
funny, i just cleaned my room two days ago. i usually clean my room either once a month or once every two months. i do this to rid my room of dust. i have to say i'm pretty good at arranging stuff but because of the dust that accumulates, i have to do this often. i change my bed sheet and pillow cases every week or so, depending on how many times i sleep on my bed (when i'm so busy, especially when i was still in college, i usually sleep on the floor beside the computer, or i'm always out of the house). when i was still finishing my thesis, i'm always doing overnight stays in school that's why i hardly touched my room for almost three months. during that time, my mom told our helper to do the initiative to clean my room. i usually don't let people touch anything in my room, and it's not because i am keeping something that i don't want people to find out about, but because i have this issue with knowing where i've placed my things. if i put my watch on my drawer and didn't move it there for a week, i would still be confident that when i come back home, i know i could still find the watch on the drawer. if somebody cleaned my room and placed it somewhere, i easily get pissed off, thinking it was "misplaced". weird, no?every year, i do a major cleaning on my room and by major i mean total cleaning, with scrubbing of the floors and cleaning of the closets and the drawers. i do this during the 30th or 31st of december, depending on the schedule. if i have to do a lot of things during the 31st (we do a lot of cleaning and cooking for the celebration of the new year), i usually clean my room on the 30th and as much as possible i don't sleep on it until the new year comes. yeah, i know. i kinda have this superstitious side of me that becomes too obsessed with cleaning. i do the cleaning on the 31st if i'm not the one cooking for the new year's eve celebration.
