    Runescape.

It was good back then. It may not be now. Members from newer MMOs such as WoW, Warhammer, Guild Wars and the like constantly pay it out heaps when some suddenly mentions it.
  2. Its up to a person to smoke if they want. But at the same time, its been demonstrated of the effects of smoking, and/or how the smoker eventually gets addicted to it. However, there have been counter issues eg smoking makes a person relax, etc.. yet it seems the negatives may outweigh the positives for health reasons.I dont mind people smoking, however at the same time many of us non-smokers do have a right to breath clean air without being covered in cigarettes/cigars/etc that pollute.
  3. There are also a number of Invision Power Board skins websites, which are mainly created by designers dedicated to creating skins for the many forum creators/administrators/etc out there. Its a good place to start if you're only starting to create a forum for small use at first, which can be easily expanded out and/or the skins edited around as the place expands.
  4. Basically lawyers that basically work for the government/state/etc have to provide a service to those clients that cannot attain and/or afford a lawyer for matters that may concern the court. However, hiring a lawyer by a rich enough client and/or middle-income earning client that requires one is another issue, whether if in that scenario the lawyer serves themselves is another question.
  5. Doesnt come often down in Australia either. Considering the unusual work hours for me, only got to see it through news clips on the internet or on television.
  6. If you got any interesting topics to post, by all means feel free to start the topics, very much nearly all readers will read it, and some of them will reply to it anyway. As the mod above me said, just dont repeat posting one-liner posts, which are usually considered spam anyway.See you around on the boards, hope to discuss things down the track in a thread.
  7. On internet explorer, I Currently have it set to Yahoo7.com.au, although I'd straight away hit google for searching, although I do refer to news through the news.com.au portal which is one of Australia's major online news outlets. As for firefox, I've kept it to the Firefox/Google hybrid homepage, which has the google search box in there anyway.
  8. Seems to be controversy between Sharma and Symonds (Again) in the last match. Great ton to Ponting after a lecent lean run, it'll be interesting if Ponting does keep it up from here on in untill the end of the tri-series. Also, Hayden and Symonds into the mix of runs after their short lean runs as well. It'll be interesting what would happen to Dhoni's gloves, after his first set was confiscated under suspicions. Already, there are already claims of "cheat" after that spectular dive to dismiss Gilchrist for 18.
  9. IPOD Shuffle 1g. Also one of the old Sony CD walkmans with the G-protection, and also was MP3 supported.. so was able to burn many songs onto the CD under the MP3 format. Also, have a MP3 player (cant remember brand) which was brought from one of my former employers a long time ago.
  10. Or most likely buying competitors. Have a look at Hotmail when it first came out, before Gates and his MSN web portal bought it out, thus becoming MSN Hotmail. Another case could be realplayer, which iirc Microsoft was interested in, but RealNetworks wasnt interested, thus leading to Microsoft making Windows Media Player in competition to Winamp and Realplayer at the time. There has been other developers around as well, Apple IPOD and their itunes software is another Media Player software. Also to further add, various DVD player software has popped up since.
  11. Started with Winamp at first, then briefly used Windows Media Player and Realplayer before eventually going to itunes when I got the IPOD sometime ago as a gift. But yes, Seems the former (Winamp, Realplayer, Windows Media Player) can also play movies and whatnot.
  12. Happy belated birthday. Hope you got the presents and had a good day with your close friends and relatives. Like the others had said, you've done a great job as one of the admins of the forum and community.
  13. I had a cat in the past. But even now they are cute, friendly, etc.. and at the same time easy to make "cute" jokes out of, see LOLCats pictures on the related web sites for an example with cats in very peculiar positions.
  14. Its indeed sad to see a animal go if they cant get adopted and so forth. There should be at least measures to save em if they cant get a home for whatever reason. However, if they were sick and somewhat there is no hope after all avenues exhausted, I could understand, but nonetheless tis still a sad occasion for the animal to be put down, sick or not.

    Pok'emon

My brothers used to play the PC game heaps on the Nintendo game boy (lol), and there was also a emulator which allowed to play the gameboy, commodore 64, atari and the other old POS game consoles on the PC. Still, the old classic games were fun to play back then, and its funny to go back to it years later.. only on a different machine. But getting ontopic, yer the TV show used to be pretty popular back in the day in Aust. I didnt grow up to it, but still it was a talked about topic with my bros, their friends and my cousins and their families.
  16. Any family related name, or just some plain pets name eg rover123 is far too easy to be guessed. Especially if you use a number that means something and/or known to others.
  17. Dogs, cats, Birds, Crocs, etc. But have had Dog/Cats/Birds as pets when I was young, and as they say for Dogs.. a dog is a man's best friend. Puppies/kitties are also cute as well, but very interesting to raise as well when they full grow up into dog/cat.Oh yes, and mouses are very good to have as a pet. Just dont let em near a cat in most cases. Same can be said for fish and cats together!.. the cat would dive into the tank to get after the fish in many cases too!
  18. I've got about 6.143 as the fastest, but seem to be averaging between 3 and 5 on most goes. Indeed it can be very addictive at times.
  19. Have to agree that in extreme cases, searches could indeed invade privacy and so forth. This should only be handled by the cops in extreme situations, such as a deliquent being a suspect in a serious crime. Having schools or other institutions doing the work for no particular reason indeed could be debatable on whether it infringes privacy.
  20. Kinda extreme, but still some fans would indeed go to extremes to meet their favourite band, or stars, and so forth. Kinda a shame that one genre gets a fair bit of copping from the media because of some young kid going to extremes and so forth.
  21. Sorry to kinda ruin it for ya.. But I'm a guy here. But then again when I'm on I do tend to reply to topics that are interesting or those hobbies/subjects/etc that interest me. An example is public transport, which I do tend to ride on heaps (buses, trains and ferries).
  22. *Darren Lehmann calls someone a c*beep*t, suspension. *Harbajahan started the "monkey" against Symonds.. warning, then supension then overturned because of the whinges. *Warne gets caught for taking drugs, banned for 1 year. *Shoaib Ahktar of Pakistan gets blantantly gets caught for drug taking.. he gets off scott-free Yes, biased behaviour in favour of the aussies alright... Many newspaper readers in England and Australia already considers that sub-continent runs the ICC, making rules for them and another set for everyone else. Their words, not mine. As for the Murali incident, yes many still think he does chuck. Well I dont think he does except for specific deliveries (Doosra) which looks suspect. But I'll agree with you there are a few out there that are disappointing. I wont go on in India where 'some of the fans' (not all) burn effergies and flags in addition to the mentioned behaviour of some aussies. -- Back to the game, yes Indeed it was disappointing about the washouts in Brisbane. Although their batting display against Sri Lanka was pretty good after the disappointments of the 50/50 and the first game against Aus.
  23. Speaking of Olympics, I have to say that the London's 2012 logo is shocking :\.. what person came up with that shocker :| Although I gotta give credit to the graphic designers for trying though.
  24. Australia of course. On the East Coast of Australia with the nice and sunny beaches (most of the time). But we've been getting a fair bit of rain as of late, considering the drought on the dams recently.
  25. Darts or Tiddlywinks may be considered sport by some.. But the former, Darts is more of a Pub sport which requires co-ordination with the eye, and the use of the hand. Lawn Bowls.. which generally considered as a "oldies" sport, is being taken up by youngsters those days, mainly for fun. But the older Lawn bowls competitors are generally in competitions as such.
