Sig Request by gameratheart
gameratheart replied to gameratheart's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
That's still pretty good truefusion! I'm definately gonna use it. -
My favourite ones are a tie between Pokemon Collesium (because I've been a Pokemon fan since before it was named "Pokemon" - it was "Pocket Monsters" until 1992 and is still called that in Japan), and Zelda: Ocharina of Time (if that's what it's called - it was the one that had a "Master Quest" sequel). I play Pokemon more, however, because I get stuck easily on Zelda games.

That's an unbelievably brilliant song, if a little depressing. I like it, and I'd love to see the full song lyrics.

For those of you who want to get the last version Xisto supports up to now (or if Zero Ziat's links don't work for you), you can use this link to get the mirror list for it.

Ip Changed For Gfxtrap & Ipbgaming DNS downtime

Are you saying they were not on dedicated IPs before? Because then the change will have made a lot more sense. -
THIS CONTEST IS CLOSED This contest was closed due to lack of votes, and the judge suffering a computer crash that rendered him inactive. Please can a Moderator close this topic? Thank you. This is the voting topic for my Newbie Sig Making Challenge thread. Refer to this to find out what the rules of the competition were. Ok, on Saturday I started the Newbie Sig Making Challenge, which was my idea for new sig makers to test their skills in a battle. I entered, and allowed others to enter too. The deadline was today. Up to the deadline, two other sigs were recieved, so now it's time to vote on them! Voting Rules: You're allowed to vote even if you entered the competition, but you cannot vote for your own sig. Only one vote per person. First to 5 votes wins. If two people recieve a fifth vote within two minutes of each other, it will be considered a draw. The Sigs: gameratheart has withdrawn his entry. electriic ink Bkag To Vote: Say why you are voting for your candidate, then copy the following into a QUOTE tag, and add one to the number following the person you wish to vote for. Now you know the rules, commence voting!

I have to make one complaint about your site: though you use a very nice colour scheme which I find trendy and effective, it is pretty much ruined by the fact that you have the top row's background in blue instead of black like the rest of the forum. This is made worse when you realise that it makes it look like an IPB forum, when it is obviously a phpBB one.Still, I very much like your website, and hope for good things in it's future.

I wouldn't trust any scheme that involved the download of a program to earn money. Even if they did pay (which no such scheme ever has), 99.9999999% of the time the program you get is either a backdoor, adware, spyware, malware, virus-infested, a trojan horse, something that allows any of those, or something of a similar nature.

When I first read this, I thought OpaQue was playing a joke. But reading the attached image, my only reaction was, "Oh my god, that is such an ingenious idea that if I weren't reading it right now, I would have hardly believed it". It is just so clever and I have no doubt that it'll be the future. We just have to make sure this future is well-kept, as paper breaks or transforms rather easily, and I'd hate to lose so much data due to a small amount of damage...I'm gonna bookmark this picture so I can show it to my folks later.

When I first read this, I couldn't believe it. There was no news on a 2.2 build ever even being on Beta! But I checked the Invsion Power Services website and it is true. I find it coincidential, however, that this was released less than a week after Simple Machines LLC, released the gold version of SMF 1.1...I just can't help but wonder how much this'll annoy OpaQue. Not only will he have to waste time upgrading again, but also considering that half the software is now encrypted, I have no doubt that the whole structure of IPB will be changed and most mods will now stop working. And then OpaQue will be up countless nights getting credits to work again...

BArS, don't tell me you failed to notice the "Source" link below the list? THAT'S where he got it from!Wow, this is a VERY long list and I don't think that's even half of them! That bleeped out one made me laugh though. I think it's surprising just how much Google has on the web...

I download a lot of stuff nowadays, but rarely from mirror sites or filesharers. Occasionally, though, the time comes when I must resort to using sites like rapidshare to download stuff. The problem is I can't get that darn website to work no matter what I try! It just blocks me from the download, saying that the session was invalid. I heard from someone that a lot of people have similar problems, and for most, the only way to fix it is to use a proxy or register for premium. But proxies haven't worked for me either, and I don't have the money for premium. But recently I heard that there was software that can make downloads from rapidshare work. Some of these bypass the IP Check and waiting timers. and some actually work out the actual download link that rapidshare hides from your browser. But I haven't been able to find such a thing. So I want to know if any of you know of such a software that can help make rapidshare work for me. Do any come to mind? Please help, as I really need this. And make sure it's legal software, please... Thanks in advance.

I use this and it does work, but I've heard that these changes can actually slow your connection as well, especially if you don't use broadband...

Ip Changed For Gfxtrap & Ipbgaming DNS downtime
gameratheart replied to OpaQue's topic in Alerts, News & Announcements
Sorry to ask, but can you explain why this dedicated IP change was necessary for both sites? It seems like a wierd thing to do so suddenly... -
All Internet Explorers have sucked majorly, and I highly doubt that IE7 will make a difference. Sure, it's got tabbed browsing, but all the other browsers had it already. And yeah, it's more "standards compliant", but then, Microsoft doesn't know the meaning of the word "standards", and from what I've seen, they break a lot with the "standards" of IE so far.But if you ARE gonna keep Internet Explorer, then yeah, go for IE7. Personally though, I say ditch it and use Firefox. Whatever IE has, Firefox already has better, and much more besides.

I have to agree with everyone here. Your sig sucks out loud. For starters, it's WAY too bright, and yeah it was hard to see the text. For afters, the text is too big and rather intruded on your sig. And for finishers, it's just not Sci-Fi enough.

Sorry for the size limit throwing you off a bit, Bkag. I'll try to think before I set limits next time.Your entry is valid and will be used for the competition. We now have enough participants, so the voting will start on Friday. If anyone else wants to join, please submit your signatures before then.

Damn, I was just about to mention it myself! I'd been testing 1.1 since the second release candidate came out and it was wicked already, so I'm glad it's finally gone gold!I'n a way though, the version history can't be more ironic: 1.0.9 was released just a month before, so it goes 1.0.8, 1.0.9, 1.1!
