Partition A Hard Drive how do you do it?
Jeigh1405241495 replied to infamousflame's topic in Hardware Workshop
Oh yea forgot about that... I dont trust the windows partitioners tho...I've heard horror stories :| lol -
Humans do make other humans, it's called birth But yea I'd agree that robots are robots, and should be treated as such. AI will likely never get to a stage where it is actual intelligence, just better and better algorithms for reacting to input... so if a robot ever commited a crime, it should be destroyed. All others with its current AI set should be destoryed (or wiped, same dif). But no, robots != humans. QED.

Partition A Hard Drive how do you do it?
Jeigh1405241495 replied to infamousflame's topic in Hardware Workshop
partition magic is an amazing program and not too hard to obtain... not that I endorse pirating software...but...if one were to try to obtain a copy illegally...they probably could quite easily... -
Ummm...no? Well you can get those 3 month free subs with various live games, and you could kill someone and steal there account, otherwise if there is a way I've never heard of it.

Welcome to thee as well, I can understand the comp nerd thing but a study nerd? That makes me want to cry inside :'( lol. Welcome to the boards, I'm sure we'll be seeing each other around. On a side note : Jet...did you mean to imply Q3 Arena was an "old game"? Just curious, cause if so that'd make me feel so old haha

If you group your musical likings based on GTA stations you shouldn't be dissing any genre hehe... also if the only rap you've heard is people making spitting noises into a mic I'd suggest you check into the genre a bit. Sure you can do the spitty beats into the mic thing but thats what people see when guys are just ****ing around or whatever usually lol.But yea I like rap myself, some of the older, some of the newer. Jay-z is probably one of my favs, just something about his songs always pull me in. Other then him I enjoy Ludacris, Eminem, 50 cent, Lil John, etc

I'm at work so I don't feel like hunting down the links, but if you goto http://www.ign.com/pc or http://www.1up.com/ and do a search for it you'll find loads of info, as I know I've seen some articles on it already at those places.

I used to play it, loved it completely, the mechwarrior universe is an awesome one. I really hope they make another mech sim for PC instead of just the action oriented xbox games. The sim ones just rocked so much its not even funny. I played MW2 (along with the Mercenaries and...other expansion whose name eludes me...), a bit of 3, and 4 and its expansion and I must sya loved em all. 3 was probably my least fav due to a few issues with the technology but otherwise it was good. 4 had a pretty good storyline and I KNEW a merc version was comming, and when it did I freaked. I love the mercvenary concept as an expansion pack for the series...maaan I hope Mw5 shows up someday soon

NFSU2 Need For Speed Underground 2
Jeigh1405241495 replied to swi.tloveforever's topic in Computer Gaming
I found it the opposite...even with so little going on in the real world (except getting all the crazy pimped mods from doing those outrun races) driving between the rafes gave a more realistic feel. It felt too much like you are just performing tests or something when you're just like playing through races on a list...got a more orgasnic feel when you actually have to live between the races to some extent, no matter how minor.Plus I just found I liked the actual races more too. In the first one by the end I was alwys getting a bit bored of the game and the maps started feeling really stale or something, but in the second it seemed to hold up better against the test of time (even with driving on the streets that were found wtihin the tracks even while between races) -
Anyone Know Of Any Good Image Editing Software? for windows.

I would agree on the gimp being the best for free, personally I don't especially like the gimp myself, but thats because I'm too used to my PS and PSP... but as far as free software goes you probably can't beat the gimp. -
Nuclear Fusion Reactor
Jeigh1405241495 replied to crs_cwiz1405241504's topic in Science and Technology
I'm not 100% sure on these, but as far as I know nuclear fusion puts out little to no pollutants as far as greenhouse gasses and whatnot are concerned, the materials it uses in the process are readily available, and the radioactive waste it makes has a fast rate of radioactive decline. So basically its a clean source of alot of power with a good source of fuel... meaning it'd be a great choice to replace current energy systems. Also, in case anyone is worried about the whole meltdown concept still, that basically can't happen. They have so many layers of protection that if the slightest thing goes wrong they basically shut down the entire thing automatically THEN worry about finding the problem, and the level of redundency in their checks is insane. -
Hmm, not sure myself but seems like something that could be a common problem so I;d suggest checking their site for FAQ's or support pages, or forums maybe.

London Under Terrorist Attack 6 Bombs
Jeigh1405241495 replied to Trekkie101's topic in General Discussion
This caught me by surprise, I didn't think England would be the next to get hit by a larger scale terrorist attack. I wish I could agree with Trekkie's sentiments that they wont go unpunished but having the G8 leaders discuss the attacks will be irrelevant if they still can't find the terrorists who matter... I hope they find the persons responsible but who knows if they will.It assumedly goes without saying, but I'll keep those involved in my thoughts/prayers -
Internet's Root Dns Servers To Stay On Us Soil
Jeigh1405241495 replied to jedipi's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Haha yea keeping them here in good ol Canuck territory would be cool, but I agree with the sentiment that where they are is fairly irrelevant. I mean the US has as much to lose by net failures as anyone else so they wont NOT put the effort into keeping them all running as well as possible, and I mean if they EVER tried to regulate it...well..it wouldn't be long before the other nations stepped in and made sure the servers went international -
Yea I've always liked playing with the various satellite images of places... I found my homes' general location BUUUUT my current place is in a small city in Canada, and my hometown is a tiiiny town in Canada, so neither have a great level of zoom available for the regions. Too bad. Hopefully they'll max out the satellite zoom level for all of Canada soon too

Umm...well...disregarding THAT post... ogame IS alot like the planetarion game I used to play except seems a bit more tweaked and polished (then again I havn't checked P-ton in a few years) but I'm liking ogame so I'll assumedly be hardcore addicted shortly. Thanks for making me do even less work at "work"

Hmm, I used to play a game called planetarion that seems like it was very similar to this. LOOOVED planetarion...but then it went pay and I lost interest but I might give this one a look-see indeed

Which Is Your Favourite Browser? Which One U Like?
Jeigh1405241495 replied to Casanova1405241497's topic in Software
Oh yea I know WHY it takes longer, its just insane on this computer here at work haha. Like I hit the exe and just walk away for a couple minutes lmao. But once its loaded it runs smoothly enough so I'd still rather use it then IE...didn't mozilla proper use to have a preloader? Or am I on crack?... I seem to have memories of it having a quick launcher from the taskbar....hmmm...they should make one of those built into FF
