The rest of the article can be found here at Gizmag Personally I think that's pretty intense. The idea of using this type of thing to generate meat would be a huge step towards fixing a lot of problems in todays world... I mean we could feed the world, reduce pollution, appease the animal rights activists, etc. Assuming they could convince the public to eat it and confirm it was perfectly safe and whatnot, it seems like an amazing concept to exploit. Personally the idea is amazing to me, I love it haha. Frankly I love any idea that involves artificially creating 'natural' food though simply because we need it. Too many poverty striken countries have populations that go hungry. Opinions? Comments?

Worm Alert - W32.zotob.a new worm to hit Windows PCs
Jeigh1405241495 replied to sparx's topic in Security issues & Exploits
Haha that woulda been good to see lol.But yea I dont really love macs BUT as far as having lots of comp illiterates using software they barely comprehend is concerned, yes having them running on macs would be preferable... some of the virus laden spyware consumed systems I've seen here make me cry :'( People have too much power on windows machines here... and by too much power I mean "they can go on the internet using IE and break things" -
Haha yea I agree with you man, I mean it's obviously a useful value for calculating various things, but as far as less mathematical and more "hidden" meanings that go along with it... doesn't really seem plausible to me. But to each their own, if they want to look for patterns and other meanings and whatnot, more power to them

https://www.videogamer.com/news/full-xbox-360-price-details-revealed Personally I'm a little shocked... they made a huge deal about a possible 400-450 price for the PS3 and now the Xbox 360 is going to cost 400 if you want the more cost efficient choice of the two. Plus the PS3 will assumedly have a similar bundle for the price point so I was really expecting the 300 dollar Xbox to have more bang for your buck. Not that it's a huge deal but it just wasn't what I expected based on how people seemed to be talking about it in comparison to future PS3 pricing probables. Another thing is the HD being optional, seems like it basically kills alot of the best uses for it since most developers wont want to limit their possible customers by making a game require an optional component... but maybe some will still take some risks with it. Who knows. Either way, there's the pricing info for the Xbox 360, now all we need is an EXACT release date

I've always liked the eclipse, they fall into my "Amazingly awesome cars that are still pricey but not an impossible to obtain amount". While I can't picture me owning one myself because, while they look cool, there are many other cars at similar value levels that I prefer over it. Sure looks isn't everything but once you have enough power that you'll only be able to open it up every so often you may as well make sure you look as good as the money you spent on it haha.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Come to talk about this game
Jeigh1405241495 replied to iGuest's topic in Computer Gaming
Yea I no longer have a source, but I think someone checked out over 300 research studies about violent media (all, not just videogames) being the cause of violence in people, and about 30 that specified videogames, and apparently only a small percentage said there was even a possibly small correlation, and that was likely caused by the fact that violent people would be attracted to violent media. So while they try and try to find a way to prove the evils of "the videogames" I dont see them finding one worth any value of reputability any time soon. -

Yea I heard about that, my boss has us reworking login scripts to patch up machines here (I'm working at a tech support place for the summer) but I'm hoping it doesn't get too bad. Big virus/worm outbreaks == annoying *****y people yelling at us all day -
Osx Tiger On X86 Machine
Jeigh1405241495 replied to BlueMountain's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Oh yea haha, I more so meant the final release version since I assume if they are already cracking this one, if Apple decides they dont like it they could possibly beef up their protection stuff. Then again I'm just speculating on that... I havn't read much about it so I don't really know how determined Apple is to keep it confined to their own hardware. -

yea I assumed they would do that... but I'm sure some creative coders will "assist" those not willing to shell out the cash for apple hardware in letting it work on there own systems. Maybe not but heres hopin -

Praise For Astahost Free webhosting was never this good
Jeigh1405241495 replied to jcguy's topic in Web Hosting Support
I would agree that the personal service feel of this place is amazing regardless, and once you put in the fact that it is free is amazing again.Truly stellar service. I know right before here I was at another site with the post-for-host concept and it was nothing like this. The support was non existent, the hosting service went down regularly, and the all around feel was just poor. Then it went down for good (luckily) because I moved on and found Xisto and have been happy ever since. Three W007's for asta! -
I've used pretty much all of the big name ones and I hated them all. I never get too intense with my sites since they are usually just random little projects I take on for something to do or something to toy with/learn new things... but many of the big name ones were still unbearable to me.

I am so going to do this on all my friends comps as "incentives" to switch to firefox... "Firefox, the browser that still has an options screen" hehe...but yea cool tip, woo

P2P programs(merged) What P2P program are you using?
Jeigh1405241495 replied to prolifik's topic in Computer Networks
I actually need a new network to try... kazaa is getting waaaay too freaking annoying for me, its always been bad but dayam. I usually use torrents now for stuff but when I want something small I just hop on a P2P but they suck so bad now. I've tried winmx (bleck) aaaand one other one that I forget now... limewire maybe? anyways I'll need to either find a new one or give them up for good cause kazaa is just getting rediculous to me -
Welcome to the swamp man. Hope you enjoy your stay here and I look forward to seeing you around in the various topics. I think you'll like it here, its a cool place, the populous is pretty cool, all around top marks. Enjoy

I don't trust microsoft antispyware alone... but thats just me. I dont actually use it at all except on my work pc. At home I use a nice combo of adaware and SS&D. I prefer adaware as it usually works faster and finds more BUT SS&D finds some that adaware misses and vice versa so I use both to get a good healthy dose of adaware cleansing... although I'm sure some slips past even both of those but I figure 1 av and 2 anti-adware and I'm pretty safe along with using IE as little as humanly possible. But yea the real-time adware scanner is pretty tight. I havn't used it much but I've used comps that had it and it was a nice idea. Having real time scanning for viruses AND adware makes roaming the web alot more safe feeling.

Osx Tiger On X86 Machine
Jeigh1405241495 replied to BlueMountain's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Yea PearPC runs macOSX at a mere percentage of the speed it should on the hardware. The new x86 versions of OSX are assumedly going to run at full speed for the hardware they are on. Which should be interesting indeed.I can't wait to see how it turns out, but I hope its not hard to crack it so I can havea system running windows, linux, and osx tri-boot AWAY! -
Erotic Images Can Turn You Blind
Jeigh1405241495 replied to iGuest's topic in Science and Technology
...while you make a good point I dont know if seeing a car accident would make my brain think "huh, time for a break" lolBut yea it is kind of an interesting idea, since really it makes sense. I know I've seen on tv shows where theyd have the sci-fi scene that shows someone getting speed-taught by tonnes of info showing up on a csreen in succession and your brain does pick out certain frames and thus ignore the few after it. It'd be interesting to see comparison studies between different cultures to see if the way our cultures view each has a huge effect or not. I would assume it would but who knows? -
Esrb Videogame Rating System To Be Banned WTF?
Jeigh1405241495 replied to iGuest's topic in Computer Gaming
He straight out says that EA is in a vast CONSPIRACY with the PORN INDUSTRY and MODDERS to get porn into the hands of kids. Anything releveant he says is regardless, for **** like that destorys his credibility. Not to mention attacking the sims 2 for being a pedophile trainer for content thats not even in it...****... thats like saying Saddam Hussein was in the right because some of his ideas made sense even though the ones that MATTERED were far from it -
apparently the police are posting CC numbers, so shows the slideshow haha. And the purpose of the show is to both show the strength of the google cache and also show how to "protect yourself" from having your information spread about... although its darker uses are obvious to anyone who reads the show.

Lookingly at publicly accessible data couldn't be against the law... and if it was against some mundane little law I can't imagine it'd be hard to get a lawyer to get your charges dropped haha. I mean common, someone could stumble onto any webpage by mistake and see some of this assumedly secret data.Awesome find tho, I'm going to have to play around with some of that stuff

I had started around beta .6... played until like 0.8... started again at retail and played until it went to **** with the riot shields and whatnot at like 1.5 or 1.6 or whenever... but then I started up again again when Source came out. It was built off a 1.1/1.2ish version and then tweaked and moved to the source engine so it was more my style...they lost alot of the stuff that had been annoying me about 1.6.I havn't played in a fair while as I've been playing other games (like BF2 and whatnot) but I've been feeling an urge to try source again... test out the assault map and any other maps that're out. Plus DoD Source is apparently on its way soon
