yes i do agree. i love dreamweaver, but i did find it a lot easier to use frontpage to edit templates and stuff. dreamweaver had some problems with spacings and junk. you would move something and it would just go all over the place. yeah, frontpage does create a lot of un-needed code though. thank god i figured that out a while ago. i was amazed at all the crap they toss into it. dreamweaver is better, but not perfect. it is always best to go over the code yourself.

i thought you could only get remote desktop with xp pro to begin with, are you sure you can use home to access a computer ? idk... last time i checked i couldnt find the remote desktop check box under the remote tab under computer properties box (yeah thats a lot) ... idk ... is it somewhere else with home ? or am i just lost in translation

i have used frontpage mostly, it is pretty easy to use. sure it takes a little to get used to because everything is sorta spread around. but i got the hang of it quickly as i usually do. i put up my first site with frontpage shortly after i started usuing it. before that i was just using notepad and the html skills i had taught myself over the internet. here is one of my sites... the one done in notepad the one that i had done in frontpage i deleted (sorry) i had known about dreamweaver for a long time now...but the first time i got to use it, it was only for a day. i had borrowed it from a friend of mine. i installed it and imedialtly started making a web page. in about 5 minutes i had made a decent homepage to my site. it was amazing...i didnt even need time to get used to the program, i just sorta installed and away i went. but my friend took the software back, and my trial expired before i could...crack it...but after that i started using frontpage again. it wasnt the best application. but it worked great. i finally got dreamweaver from the library about a year later, i had never actually installed it, it just sat in my cd case. but then the webdesigning class i took started usuing dreamweaver so i installed it on my computer and begin usuing it again. once again i didnt need to get used to the program too much again (just a few different things because this was mx 2004). quickly i had made another new site. this time a whole site and i put it online with Xisto. my accounts suspended right now because i went on vacation, so theres no point in putting a link, but i guess i could cause it will be activated again shortly. website made with dreamweaver the only thing with that site is that the template isnt mine, i had downloaded it from some site online so that i had one to use while i created my own. but the thing i love most about dreamweaver is the ability to use the other macromedia software along side of dreamweaver. it just makes things soo much easier. and dreamweaver doesnt even take hours to learn to use. eveything is right there. although i will admit that after usuing frontpage for so long, switching to dreamweaver can be a little confusing but only because you expect things to be harder when they are easier. i think dreamweaver is a lot better than frontpage, easier to use, powerfull...way powerfull. and even my baby brother can use it (i dont have a baby brother, but hopefully that doesnt mean that a baby couldnt use the program)...if you dont arleady have dreamweaver, i suggest you get it.

my old laptop had an ati...it was an older card and being in a laptop, it wasnt that great. most of my friends use nvidia and they love them. and recently i started upgrading one of my old desktops for a gaming computer. and i bought a cheap nivida geforce 5200 fx with 128mb for only 65 bucks on tiger direct. the thing is awesome, i can run hl2 at full and it only lags once in a while (not even around water). then i upgraded my ram to 512 so i installed doom3 and it can run at pretty high graphics (not full - more like medium) and it wont lag at all. i love this card, and it only cost me 65 bucks. and yeah i know i coulda gotten a 5500 for only 15 bucks more...but i have money issues (like most of us...right?)...i installed all of my games right away after i got it too, to see how good they all run on the system now...all of them look soo much better and run soo much faster. i love it !i chalk one up for good old nivida

i recently installed the game XIII on my system system specs p4 2.8ghz nvidia geforce fxf 5200 128mb 256mb ddr ram game running at 1200 x 1024 x 32 and a no cd patch is applied think thats all you should need problem the game seems to work just fine and will go through menus, videos and everything...but when you get passed that preview mood thinger...where you learn the guys story and the life guard is there and you arent feeling well or w/e...it crashes when you fall (the second time) trying to get to the truck and comes up with an engine error or some crap (goes away before i can read it...and couldnt snap a screenie of it) is my video card not supported ? i looked on the nvidia site and couldnt find any patches for the XIII game...and then i checked ubisoft and i didnt see anything about the 5200 not being supported...(stupid me couldnt find the patches either) ???!!!???

i have five video cards at home, all crap, (i just ordered a geforce 2200 with 256mb ram for 70 bucks) but i have more than one computer...so the geforce cant go in all of the computers. one video card is an s3 savage ix two are ati something and one is some piece of crap that doesnt even say the brand or anything...and the one that i am having problems with is the matrox (not sure on model...doesnt say, havent checked with aiada32) but the matrox is the best out of all the cards i have so far...it has 64mb mem (wohoo) and im not sure on the rest but it works fine (supports 1280 x 1024 res) and no problems other than the games...so far i got two games to work great with it...007 nightfire and the sims (what fun) i have installed battlefield 1942 and need for speed hot pursuit 2 and soldier of fortune 2 double helix and need for speed underground 2...all of the games will load...(cept sof2 - comes up with opengl error saying i need open gl...does this mean that the card doesnt support open gl or that the correct drivers are just not installed ?) but nfshp2, nfsu2 and bf1942 load into the game and you can play...just the game is messed up...textures are missing and junk like that....to me this means that simply the drivers are just not installed right...but it says the drivers are installed...and no problems are found...and what not...the drivers are for the matrox video card and not some generic card or w/e...do i just need to download the drivers for open gl (a friend told me that doing that would fix my problems...but i cant find opengl drivers anywhere)...i just want to play my games...and when my geforce comes i will be happy...but then the other computers wont be able to play games ( i network them together and play games against friends and family...)

...only reason i have xbox is for halo...even then...ps2 still wooped xbox's butt...only main extra feature i liked about xbox was hard drive capabilities...the ps3 is going to be one amazing machine...i would definatly pay 300 bucks for it....im not even going to consider buying an xbox...they havent upgraded much...only thing i like about 360 is wireless controllers...and ps3 beats them there too...ps3....yesh...*on my to buy list ps3 nintendo revolution nintendo ds 100 dollars worth of great games for all consoles :lol:

yes...my biology teacher, several years ago, had showed us several, quite good, animations and videos on how the whole dna and rna thing worked...it was quite amazing...i like the whole biology science thing, it fascinates me but...its not my favorite...not to get too off topic...but physics is another one of those science catagories that just makes you wonder...has any one seen that movie "what in the bleep do we know" ?

i dont have a link...i can look on google again and see if i can find it...but it was this weekend that i got it...and on a different computer so i cant just look at the history to get it back...srry so humans creat humans naturally...why cant we creat humans outside the body ? yes i know we already try or are doing this...but...esentially cant we make a baby...without taking sperm from someone and inserting it into the mother...then taking the egg out and letting it grow outside the mother (or however they do that) cant we just create a baby on our own outside the mother...with no help whatsoever...and they are doing that with skin right now right ? like growing new organs or something from stem cells or w/e...that is great...eventually we are going to live forever...no one will die...all the diseases will be cured...that would be nice...but not...i dont think id want to live forever

...personally i like playstation much better...not because i owned one or because all the best games are out for it...but because its the system that never really gave me any problems...i owned an n64 and i loved it...but after a while the cartridges would give you problems and you would have to blow on them to get them to work and all that (it might have just been us...not taking care of it and all) and the old nintendo systems had the same problem...and sometimes it would just freeze in the middle of playing a game because of the cartridge. the playstation systems of course had a similar problem with them having discs and all...but i never actually had a problem with them reading the cd or freezing in the middle of a game on me...maybe because i took a little better care of cds (knowing that they could be damaged easily) and i loved the gameplay on the nintendo systems...me and my brothers played goldeneye for hours a day on the 64...and playstation didnt really match the gameplay of the 64 to me...sure there were some games that you could get into playing (personally to me...the racing games - like grand turismo 1, 2 + 3 - still my most favorite racing game for any console) and with the nintendo...most of their games seemed...well, to me..kiddish...there wasnt really anything wrong with that...its just that i wanted to see more blood and violence...but i still loved playing mario 64 and mario kart and banjo kazooie and everything...but soon we got rid of the 64 and got a ps1 and ps2...and from there...boy did i love playstation...the graphics, the great games, no problems...just all out fun...and the gamecube...up until a couple weeks ago...i thought was a piece of **** (dont hurt me) my brother bought one when i had bought an xbox (which i loved) and he had gotten a few games...the graphics just looked like a slightly updated version of the 64...the games, where still kiddish...sure they had a few, like boxing and racing games and junk...but i could get all those for the xbox or ps2 and they looked and felt soo much better than they did on the gamecube...and halo...for the xbox...boy did i love that...and the fact that you could watch dvds on the ps2 and xbox...you certainly couldnt do that on the gamecube ( i did like the smaller discs tho for the gamecube) and the xbox was online ready...while the ps2 you had to buy an adapter for...but could go online...and the gamecube ( i thought at first couldnt go online) but later found out that you also had to buy an adapter for it to go online...and the ps2 could get a hard drive...but from what i know...you could store anything on it...and the gamecube was stuck with mem cards like the ps2 while the xbox...well...40 gig was enough for me ... but then ( i was saying i hated gamecube until a couple weeks ago) a friend of mine (killer008r) told me and showed me resident evil 4 for game cube...i was amazed...it looked soo much better than xbox or ps2...and i watched a movie clip and...omg was i amazed...i wanted to kill my brother for selling his gamecube to someone besides me....it was soo amazing it just about made me cry (tears and all) i probably woulda wet my pants too...but that, as far as i know, is the only game for gamecube that makes sony and microsoft tremble in their little diapers....now so far, all ive been talking about is consoles (not handhelds) and i have owned quite a few handhelds in my time as well...i had a gameboy original of course...pokemon rocked ... and then i got a gameboy color...pokemon made better...then a gameboy advanced...more pokemon...and my brother got a gameboy sp...even more pokemon (this time not as exciting) and killer008r has a gameboy ds...and i love the thing...i was playing mario 64 ds on there...it was just like i was back on the n64 playing mario 64...i couldnt put it down (but i had to leave) the graphics were just as good (slightly updated) that n64 and the game had a few advances in it...where you could play as other characters...it was awesome...and then he showed me how he could go online with the ds and...i wanted one even more...i was about to grab the thing out of his hands and run out the door with it, but im a good friend...it was amazing...and only half the price of the psp...the psp can go online and all sure...but you have to go through the configuration and all that crap to do it...and sure the games are all the great ps1 and 2 and stuff...but its ****ing 250 bucks...and the graphics arent all that great...(not too much better than ds) i mean...im starting to like nintendo even more now...only because of the ds...and the revolution...sounds great and all...but i want to see some stuff...i want so feel some stuff...i want marterial...im a material girl in a material world...wheres the marterial....with microsoft releasing the xbox 360 a year before sony and nintedo release their consoles, definaly puts them ahead of the competetion...for now....still, from what ive seen, the 360 wont be too much better than the original xbox...so im not to excited for the next gen console from microsoft...what i really want is the ps3 to be released...i saw some screen shots (thanks to killer008r) and i was amazed...it was soo ****ing awesome...again i wanted to cry...i posted them here on Xisto (dont remember where) but they were so detailed....and not pre rendered either...actually in game screenshots...just b e a u tiful....but again...the ps3 is set to release in 2006...while xbox 360 is set to release in 2005 sometime in summer...and as for the revolution...i love the idea of back compatability by downloading so that you can play old old nintendo games on it...(does this mean they will have a hard drive and no mem cards ?) that alone makes me want to get one...but nintendo has really released much info on the system which makes me skeptical about how they are doing...but i dont blame them...sony likes to steal their ideas a lot...(ever notice the similarity in crash bandicoot and banjo kazooie...)...killer008r pointed out many noticalbe things about sony that they seemed to have gotten from nintendo...over all...i still like sony...but that could all change come 2006...that is...if nintendo actually releases a console...

i was browsing the web this weekend and i came accross an interesting topic of discussion....where do babies come from...unfortanatly i cant find the original thread but i will sum up what i read...it stated that (as far as we know...on this planet) all living things are made up of carbon molecules...and also that matter is neither created nor destroyed but it went on about those two theories for a couple of paragraphs before finally getting to the point of where babies come from...it said that the mother consumes food (meant vegies w/e) and her body takes that food and breaks it down (gets the carbon and other molecules needed to make a baby) and rearranges these molecules to make dna (carbon based)...and that her body would continue consuming food and turning it into, esentially, the baby...so the whole topic basicly stayed on the matter that a baby doesnt come from the mother...it comes from the food she consumes (and the carbon that maks up that food)...i am no science wizz or anything...(i actually hate science class, but this stuff is interesting)...but isnt it energy is neither created nor destroyed...which would mean that this whole topic that i found was...well...falsecan someone help me here.... thanks for all the comments first of all lets answer some of those questions one...no it isnt my template (i am making my own seperate from this one, this one i got from webtemplateszone.com) second, i cant edit the buttons (the whole banner is flash and the template download didnt come with the .fla file only the .swf - so i cant fix it) btw i dont know what browser your using but in ie 5 and mozilla it doesnt have any problems...at least for me third, yes only having the text linked sux...but as i said i cant fix that i will keep you guys updated on updates on my newly updated updatably updatable website.....especially when i finish MY template thanks for the comments

well...i would like to use the vid card for gaming, not hi end gaming exactly (well maybe - itd be nice to do that) but i wouldnt use it for designing or anything like that. Mostly what i would like to get out of the card is to be able to run HL2 at full graphics (so maybe hi end) idk...lol...that is kinda askin for a lot, seeing as it would be great to do that, but i dont really need to do that...right now what i am worrying about is saving money. and yes with the 9200 it would be outdated right away (already is in my opinion) but my paychecks (me workin at econo foods - tryin to get a+ cert) being around 70 - 170 dollars depending on how many hours they give me....i have limited supply (especially right now seeing as i got a speeding ticket and need to pay 156 for that thing ) but i am also tryin to save up some to buy a nice laptop from td for only 999 and it is definatly worth it, only problem is that whether it will be outdated by the time i have money . . . . i think i will save up for the 9550 tho or possibly find a gforce or nvidia somewhere (spending around 200 - 250) i think i am going to look more into it tho.... thanks for the input

i love the xbox. It has a built in hard drive (80gb) where as the ps2 has no hard drive (you can only get one with ffX) the xbox has built in network to access xbox live (you have to pay extra to go online with ps2) you dont need mem cards with xbox (you have to pay extra for mem cards to save data for ps2) you can save your music and listen to music within games on xbox (ps2 has nothing like this) and xbox has halo ! i love halo i beat it of course but i still enjoy playing it all the time (halo2 as well) i belive the xbox graphics are better than ps2 (differs on games - not that much better) and there are games out there that are for ps2 that are great (gt3 ) and that you cant get for xbox...same with xbox games that you cant get for ps2. but over all i think that the xbox is a much better choice. now seeing as what ive heard about the next gen consols....i would much rather go with a ps3 ! making the switch (once again) i was a ps1 man then xbox came out and i loved it, now ps3 sounds so much better (and the graphics kick *bottom* compared to xbox)guess we will see next year !

i was in shawano the other day at the walmart (supercenter) up there and i was getting some new cds and seat covers for my car (unfoutanatly didnt find the seat covers) but i was browsing their computer section and saw some things that caught my eye inlcuding two video cards, one radeon 9550 and one radeon 9200. the radeon 9550 was going for 144 dollars while the radeon 9200 was only 90 bucks. i believe that the 9550 had 256mb and the 9200 had 128 (both a whole lot better than what i have right now) both had svid out and i cant remember the rest of the specs as i didnt take a close look at the box....but from what you guys know about the radeon 9550 and the radeon 9200 which would be better for the price tag?i did look up on tiger direct for both cards but they were priced differently than walmarts (more expensive) but from what i saw the radeon 9200 was better for the price (wasnt that far off from 9550 and was supprisingly cheaper)

yeah...all this stuff with microsoft over pirated software and junk...its really annoying and stupid - personally i went out and bought windows xp pro when it came out and burned a copy so that i didnt have to activate it every time i installed the operating system (i am constantly installing os's on computers and junk) then i obtained about 30 xp pro discs and 20 2k pro discs from school because they were throwing them all away and they said i could have them - with those i use ultra edit 32 and edit the win logon file to bypass the activation.also with the audio cd burning - i recently bought about 10 cds (100 dollars worth thank you very much) from bmg and all of the cds have that new copy protection crap and i used alcohol and burned them and i had no problems what so ever. i really think that companies should stop worrying about people "stealing" their software, just let the fbi or whoever catch the people that are doing it and take care of it. they are just losing money by putting all this security junk onto their software - it annoys people ESPECIALLY ME !

ah, yeah, its not jumper - the drive is set for slave and my other cd burner is set for master...those are the only two drives on the cable...the drive is junk i think we already accomplished that much....i tossed it out yesterday and bought a new dvd dl burner online for 51 dollars
