yeah, i have been gone for awhile...thats why i havent posted any of my sigs lately...i noticed that there is a sig forum now (yay). anyways....here is what i have been working on over my vacation. this first one i wanted to be a pop-out sig but i cant seem to get it to save so that the background stays transparent (can anyone tell me how to do this?) - this is actually the first pop-out sig that i made, and it is saved as a .png, when i looked at s&m's pop-out sigs i couldnt tell any difference between his saved file and mine....o well... this is one that i just tossed together from an old render i found...i got bored...i do this a lot...but i thought that id post it and see what you guys think of it...i tried to keep it simple with the design though...not to crowded you know... i am proud to say that this is my first vector sig...i have messed around with them before...but never really bothered to come up with anything interesting...so over break i decided that i would actually try...so i gathered up a bunch of vector brushes and a bunch of renders and came up with this one...there is a border but it didnt show up as well as it did on my computer with my monitor... and last but not least is this one...i spent a lot of time on this one getting borders and layers and blends right...i think it turned out quite well...one of my better sigs...but i wanted to know what you guys thought as well...and the border turned out quite well... i had also came up with two other sigs...halo sigs...but they turned out like crap and i just tossed them (didnt feel like posting them i mean).... let me know what you guys think...thanks all

i tossed this review into the designing forum because i dont want it looked at as a website review...i want the comments to be based on the design of the site and not the content or speed or w/e...lol...anyways...here is my newest creation... finally got the stupid nav to work right...couldnt get a cell background to work, then duh...i created a third table to get it to work ...cheap but w/e anyways...any and all comments are welcomed...good or bad thanks here the site link... sorry...i feel stupid...i forgots to post the link to the site...i was in a hurry

can someone post a download link here for some old fps games...like quake, doom, ect. i am on the internet at school...can only get on internet at school...and they have the word games blocked...so i cant find any links to downloads for them :)thanks...

i have a laptop (really really old) and i am messing around with it. got it for free and dont really care about it. but i was wondering if there were any operating systems (such as dos or sumtin...possibly even a 32bit gui os) that i can run from floppy. seeing as since the bios is so old that it doesnt support boot from cd...or maybe someone can link me to a bios update...its a sager 8600 series (np8620 to be exact)...:)are there any floppy img downloads that maybe have an autorun file that will make it boot from cd...e.g. reads floppy, floppy tells system to boot from cd...?anyways...what i really want is an operating system on a floppy disk...seeing as the hard drive crapped out and i havent replaced it yet (will when i come to find one). do they even make 32-bit gui os for floppy ?

i need to download windows 3.11 operation system (or possibly some other operation system small enough) so that i can run it on my laptop----------the laptop has a 133mhz processor with 15mb ram, it has a cd drive and a floppy drive.----------can someone post a link...i havent been able to find the operating system...thanks

i posted this problem within the operating system forum because...well...it is an operating system/drive problem....i recently switched casses for my p4 computer i have done this before...and it never causes any problems simply because all i am doing is switching cases...but this time i came accross a problem. after i got all done and logged into windows my cd drives werent comming up. i have 2 cd drives in the computer 1 scsi and 1 ide cd burner....they work fine in the bios...i can boot from either drive and it reads the cds just fine....which means that it isnt the drive, connection, or anything like that. when it gets into windows however windows explorer doesnt pick it up. i went into device manager to see whats up and they are marked with a yellow explamation mark ( ! ). i went to driver details and it said that it cant load drivers or drivers missing....so i uninstalled the drivers and restarted and let windows install...checked and still same problem...cant load drivers or drivers missing. so great, now i have to go and update my drivers ( i have never needed to do that before, windows has my drivers for both drives) problem is that i cant find the drivers ! i guess i am just bad at this sort of thing or sumtin...i have no info on the scsi cd drive simply because it is sticker-lessthe burner is, however----------hp cd-writer 9100+----------but i have the drivers for that :)can someone point me in the right direction ? why did this happen...it makes no sense, just all of a sudden my drivers are missing...out of nowhere...thanks

im working on getting the site up for you all...and for myself...but there are a few main issues that i am having...the site is for killer008r and i cant get his hosting account to work with frontpage...it wont load...and i cant get into his cpanel (it saying the password and username are incorrect but they arent) he has always had problems with his hosting but idk...i think someone should just fix them once and for all....another thing that i just recently found out is...that the background color is only the same as the pics background color in opera...and firefox and other non-ie browsers...which is stupid but w/e...so i have to go back and change the background color in all the pics to the shad that ie reads (i have checked the hex codes and they are all the same...i dont get it but w/e) i will probably host that site on my hosting to show you guys...but i have to get around to it first (and thats after i fix it)

i thought id put this template into the graphics design forum because i want it rated on a purly design point of view not as a website or anything right now... killer008r (ryan) and his ~IO~ clan wanted me to design his website for him...he said that i could come up with any crazy design or anything that i wanted as long as it included admins page, team page, info page, owner page, and a links page... so i sat down and started messing around with photoshop....here is what i came up with...the site will be mainly viewed in 1024x768 (the width of the table is 800) it can be viewed in 800x600 but i opted not to optimize the site for that seeing as how most people can view it in 1024x768 anyways...it looks good in 1280x1024 as well...and works in any larger resolutions.... comments please (no this is not a stolen template - I DID DESIGN THIS BY MYSELF)

10/10 reaver...as usual, your vector sigs are amazing. i like what you did with this one, having the little close up window to the right (not sure if thats the new thing you are talking about or not) --->yet another one to rate<--- i was hoping for a little more posts than this

no not greatly...my sigs usually come out to around 60k with compression...before they are usually 124k or so....i am not sure how much the gif can be compressed, personally i didnt bother with this one..i didnt even bother to keep the quality of the gif (its all pixelated)

alrighty then...sorry about that you guys, i was loading it into Xisto but you guys dont let us load .gif's so i thought maybe i could load it into my hoasting account...but i kinda sorta messed it up but anyways...here i think i got a link that will work...it is in a totally different place now sorry i couldnt fix it earlier (once again 56K WARNING ) image is around 670kb - but be patient it will load:P

ok thanks...i actually tried to follow all of those...but gave up after reading the first couple paragraphs but i got it ! ! ! i downloaded a third party converter (riverpast) and converted the .mov to .avi ... then imported that .avi into flash (it actually imported .avi - i dont know why it didnt do that to the .mov file, it said it would) then imported my sig and changed layer over the movie, resized the movie, moved into area...played...changed clip size...then exported as .gif ;) works...only thing is that the file came out a little choppy....pixelated but yeah, ill fix that with later sigs i make...unless i get bored then ill fix this one ---> here it is <---

ok then...well since no one else seems to be replying... 1st one...i give it a 6/10 - it is nice...but it is too bloated...it would definately be a lot better if you got rid of the render in the middle...it would just open up the sig a lot more... 2nd one...i give it a 9/10 - just for the fact that you added a clip into the sig...i have been trying to do this with a sig that i started..but cant seem to get it anyways...i like how you set it up...but it could be a lot better if you maybe had a little brush technique around the clip and have some of the brush over the vid...just to add somthing extra to the sig heres mine... another new one...i just did it a couple mins ago ---> <---

ok...heres the deal...you sign up for freeipod.com with an old email account...blah blah blah...fill out all of the optional free thingers...(not sure if they actually matter but w/e they will just send you emails and call w/e old number you give them) then after all that they have you log into your account with the email you used and the password you gave them....then you have to sign up for 1 (free-but not free) offer...they say you get free stuff but you dont...best one i saw was a walmart 25 dollar gift card for a dollar....so you sign up for that...spending a total of 1 dollar...then you have to wait 2-3 days for the credit system that they have to take place...notifying freeipod.com that you have signed up, completed and recieved w/e crap you did...then you log into your account again...and they look at your creds and send you an ipod...(as far as i know...)

i have a quick question...nothing too major...i have seen quite a few sigs (especially ones from gammerchick) with little video clips in them...i was messing around last night and came up with this sig... --- --- and i want to insert a video clip into the white space (with the brush over the vid ) how exactly do i go about doing this ? i mean, i know it can be done...i have an idea of how...but i couldnt get it to work last night...i was trying to import the .mov clip from my blink-182 cd into flash...it would bring the vid up and i would edit it to make just a little clip...then i would hit finish...and it would just start all over again... am i suppose to use flash...i figured i could import the vid...import my sig...resize the clip and move it into the white area....and make the clip behind the sig...then publish as .gif BUT IT WONT IMPORT THE CLIP! help please

yeah...as has been said you could use a borderthere are several ways you can do this1) you can do a gradient layer...with black line on the outside and fades to white twoards the middle (takes a while to do this...at least the way i do it..im sure there is an easier way) and then do a blending option and set it to darken...that will add a neat little border effect onto the image2) the common 3 pixle border...save the image as png or jpg or bmp or w/e and open up in paint (easiest program to do it in) and just do a one pixle line on the very outside edge of the image in w/e color you want...then skip a pixle and do another pixle line in the same color...also yet again...the image will almost always look better if you dont change the opacity or blur it or anything...unless you are going for that effect for a specific reason...(e.g. to add motion to the character or w/e) i like the background that you created...it looks a lot better in color though...nice sig though....like what you have done...especially after changing everything!

lol...ryan...simply orgasmic...im telling cheryl ! anyways, yes you are right reaver, they dont take long. and definatley once you got a hang of the program it takes no time at all...i find comming up with a design hard though...i dont necessarly want to do other peoples designs if i dont like them but i do....still doesnt mean i like them but i understand...i have a quick question...i noticed you had a cool little boarder effect on your vector sigs...whatd you do to get that? cause it obviously isnt the typical 3 pix boarder (i use that a lot...but try to stay away from it as well...too many people use it) did you do a fill effect then overlay the layer ? (i have used that to make some neat little boarders) .... or is it something completely different ? ...i am just curious...i couldnt tell what it was off hand...
