yeah....but you only made the one on the left and the one on the right...not the two in the middle...i kinda liked the one to the left...but it didnt go with the idea that i had for the sig....either way you didnt give me the background image that you used for it....i just like the simplicity of yours...but i go for some more detailed and complex sigs...but w/e i still made you one (technically three) but if you give me the image you used in the background then i will make some more for you as soon as i download photoshop cs2 full again...so yeah....just get me tons more images and ill see what i can do.

i just got a free wireless access point from work...it is a measly 11mbs access point and i have a wireless 802.11b card in my desktop...i plugged an internet connection into the access point and the three lights...one for power, one for network, and one for wireless connection...all lit up...the power was steady...the network blinking when the internet was plugged in and not when it wasnt...and the wireless blinked steady...actually geting more steady as i got closer to my wireless card in my desktop...so everything is working so far...i go to my desktop and search for access points...and it picks it up...i go to connect it and it brings up a little box asking whether i want to continue even though it doesnt have a wep key...so fine...i check the box and click connect...doesnt connect....try it again...doesnt connect....checked all my connections they are fine...searched for the access point...still there...just wont connect....what is wrong...also a friend of mine told me that since there is a serial port on the back of the access point that it was managed and that it might be blocked....so that might be the reason i cant connect....what do i do...i got it for free...it works...just wont let me connect...please

yeah i see what you mean, i suppose you can call it my style but not really, i am covering up most of the background because i dont really like the backgrounds...i used basic brushes, which normally i wouldnt do....i downloaded some brushes the other day (grunge ones) and i want to mess around with them some more...but my trial for cs2 ended...so i am currently downloaded cs2 full...but i will have more...and i will open the background more so to view it... thanks for the comments

voip is great...i use skype and i have no problems w/e so ever with talking to friends on it...i can mute them, call others skype, talk to more than one person at a time and of course call peoples houses (duh) and the people can call from their house to your skype as well. although i havent quite used it over such long distances to see if there were any problems but i have t1 so i cant imagine there being that much lag...but still i love skype and i will never go back to a regular phone again...it is free as long as you have internet...no higher charges for long distance or paying for how many minutes you are on .... i love iti recomend downloading skype and trying it yourselflatest version of skype 1.4.0.78

a friend of mine started a cs clan (~IO~) and is hoping to get into cal...they are actually pretty good...he asked me to make him some sigs for his clan so here is what i came up with for him... this is the original sig that i came up with for him without his logo and scope effect...i am going to keep this one for myself this is the sig with the scope effect but without his logo on it so that i can maybe use it for something else... and this is the completed sig for him with his simple logo in the corner... how do they look ?

i like it but i agree that the grass and light feel a bit out of place...the grass sticks out and the light post is just sorta out in the middle of no where. . . i think it did drop out of the sky

when you transport vids into gif there really isnt any special way to get rid of the grain...you usually have to deal with it (at least in my experience) nice work though. i like the one with only one vid even thought i like the second video you used in the first one...i think they are both great but there is too much action in the first one...and that made it a really big file

oh...thanks...right after i read your reply the first words that came from my mouth were "YES!" finally i actually came up with a design that is pretty good...i will do a tut on it...but basicly i found this cool brush that i thought went well with the rugged theme of the sig and used that doing a few strokes then doing a new layer that was black behind that to fill the white spots then i did a difference clouds effect and it turned out a lot better than what i thought...it took a lot of messing around to get the background though that is where i spent most of my time. i used 2 other pictures to get the hl2 logo and gordon in the sig....i had to cut them out and that took some patience because my magic wand tool wasnt working properly last night. but i made sure that when i put the logo on to carry the background effect within the logo and the shadow of the font...if you look you can see the tracks in it (i actually dont know how i got that...its what i wanted...but all i did is move some layers and redo some effects and it came out)

ok...still havent been able to update any of these because i still want more comments... but here is a nifty little peice of work that i just finished late last night...it is a half life 2 sig that i created in photoshop cs2

a friend of mine is taking a networking class in the city....the class gives him a free msdn account and he has access to all the software the school has....one of which is the vista beta 1 he just downloaded it a couple days ago and burned it to a dvd. i installed it on my p4 2.8ghz and it ran supprisingly great....but the point is that it came with ie 7 beta....when installing it says loading file ie7beta..... that spured my interest....i am not, however, exactly sure that it is actually ie 7 because it doesnt seem to me that they would put it in vista...but w/e...maybe they did and maybe they didnt...does anyone else know this ?

i am trying to create my website for viewing on a wide range of browsers....right now it works on netscape (which people, sadly, still do use), firefox, opera, safari, and internet explorer....i created it in frontpage....which to begin with isnt good when you want a website that can be viewed in a lot of browsers....but dreamweaver wouldnt create the inline fram the way i needed it to be created (either its dreamweaver or the more obvious answer and more correct answer...i dont have the skill) and i was stretching it when i put the rollover effect on the top three nav buttons....but i actually got them to work in those browsers...and i didnt want to make it more of a stretch by inserting an animated nav bar....so i just did a table and font...you dont know this but there is actually a rollover effect on the font, it puts the word in italics...but it doesnt work in any of the browsers and only works when i preview my site within frontpage...but i left it...i probably should get rid of that extra code but it doenst worry me to much....i wanted to do the jist of the site in flash...but that was a faliure because firefox was giving me problems when i inserted my flash nav bar into the site....for some reason it wouldnt work at all...and all my friends use firefox so i didnt want to just ignore the problem...so i dropped the flash idea and went with as few pictures as possible....i still have to make the pictures backgrounds so that they load faster in i.e. (strange how ie loads background pics faster than pics inserted on a page....but w/e)and i havent had a chance to load all of my content up yet...i am still in the process of transfering files from my server at home to a dvd and then from the dvd to the server at Xisto....(i dont actually have that much content to fill up a dvd but it is still a lot compared to other sites of mine - total about 200mb of data for the site content - but the dvd has movies on it that dont relate to the site )

thanks for the comments but i just want to make sure of a few things before i reply in a more serious tone of voice 1. that silvery color....are you talking about my background effect (i did a cloud filter) 2. i didnt do any motion blur at all...that motion blur is feathering...if you look closer you can tell... 3. the lens flare - not to say anything bad but...i used it to fill up space...if you think it shouldnt be there...can you tell me sumtin i could put there ? 4. what hazy filter ?....its called a blur buddy...it is to blend the picture in with the background and thanks for pointing out that i put the word utopia in there....i didnt notice that...when i made it i put the acronym together in two pieces...sorry but thanks for the comments they are appreciated and welcomed....(sorry if i seemed like an *** but i had to)

here are some more of my works, newer...but not the best. this one is just a simple one i did when i was bored, its not really for one person, more so because i liked the stroke i found...lol flowers this one i created, once again not for someone...even though it says mario_craze...but i was trying to make sumtin a little different...even though i kinda consider it my stile (style)...but i want to be diverse...anyways...i think its ok...so im posting it.. thanks for all your comments

i put the "poem" thingy there to fill up space, it looked to blah for me without it. i prolly coulda moved the lens flare to the middle of the sig to fix that, but i didnt think that gave it the look of a sun. to me suns are always (not exactly) in the corners of pictures. even when little kids draw pictures with suns, suns are in the middle...so thats where i felt it should go. and i have been working with the third sig..trying to do sumtin with the text...but cant exactly figure out that perfect thing to join everything together. (i guess i should stop posting that sig...its getting old)...the mcr one only took me but two minutes to do. but it actually turned out really good. simple but effective. thanks for your feedback gamerchick39

here is some of my work that i have done recently, there is more but i only put the three ones that i like best. one of the others that i didnt include is animated and didnt load properly so i left it out. and the other one that i left out, when i saved it, it came out choppy. i havent had the time to fix it yet. but here, please give me your oppinions on these thanks this is a sig i made for a friend, godly_luigi this is a sig i made for my g/f...my chemical romace and this is my own sig, the one that i am using on Xisto. yeah i know i have posted it a few other times, but i am not getting enough comments on it...at least as many as i would like. i appreciate your responses...thanks a lot

was at a rummage sale a while back and picked up some of these 3com 24-port switches for about a buck a piece....they are only 10mb but they work fantasticly....i want to share inernet connection over them....was at a lan party recently and they used the same thing and the guy told me just to run the inernet connection over a crossover into the 1st port on the hub....then it will automaticly be shared....is that how...cause some other people are saying to just bring the internet in on the uplink (either port 1 or 24 - not sure) and think it will be automaticly shared....what is it ?

thanx...that refreshes my memory too...cause i had used the mandrake cd to restore the mbr before...but i have never seen it done with the windows xp cd...i actually thought they were stupid enough not to have a way to fix it.... thanks....but my real question is why did it do it all of a sudden, cause i had rebooted it tons of times after i had deleted the linspire partition and then all of a sudden the thing quit on me...it makes no sense to me...but w/e...i figured just maybe the hardware change trigered sumtin...but what would i know (im no linux pro)

this was a confusing topic to post...it is a mixture of problems...both hardware and software. and it has to deal with both linux and windows...but i decided to put it here because the main problem is the linux.i had dual booted my machine with linspire 5.0 and windows xp...since i did linspire 5.0 last...like i am suppose to, it used the grub boot loader. i decided after a while to get rid of linspire and just use vpc within windows to mess around with it. so i formated the partition within windows (prolly not the best idea). this got rid of the os but kept the bootload (which i had expected and was fine with). so when i turn my computer on it brings up the grub boot loader and has me choose between linspire 5.0, diag tools, redect, or windows xp....well...linspire is obviously gone so that just freezes...duh...the diag tools and redect tool still works obviously but does no good. so i just select windows xp and i was fine with that and didnt feel like puting the windows boot loader back on. but then just the other day i swapped my cd burner with a dvd burner to burn amityville horror for my g/f and i started windows copied the cd...no problems what so ever. i shut it down afterwards and went to bed. this morning when i woke up i started my computer and it started loading the grub boot loader and came up with an error (pissing me off to no point) it said loading grub v. w/e then said failure to load (or sumtin) and error 16...thats it...didnt do nuttin else. i restarted a couple times...same thing obvoiusly....what is error 16!!!! was this caused by the hardware switch ? or is this just sum timeout with linspire's grub boot loader or what !I NEED MY COMPUTER BACK

yes, i know it isnt perfect yet. i had posted somewhere else what i want to do with it....was hoping to get some comments in there...got a few. link to feedback post i have been working on it a little bit but i havent changed the background at all yet...but that is a good idea...i was thinking of just using a lighter color...medium or w/e actually...to get the difference clouds to stand out more...cause right now you can just barely see them....

i have overclocked my p4 2.8 to 166 which will run it at about 3.5ghz....it works great but for some reason it messes up my sound devices...it recognizes the driver. the driver works properly...but it doesnt see any of my devices...but w/e...i just down volted it to about 150 to run at about 3.1ghz and it stays cool...right around 30-35 degreesidk if this is true, i have heard that someone has overclocked a pII (with supioror cooling of course - the newest fridge technology or w/e its called - allows you to cool below room temp...killer008r can give you link) that normally runs at about 400 mhz....to run at p4 level of about 1.2ghz or sumtin....which amazes me...but i guess with the proper cooling you could do it...but its great
