i got the whole sheabang (macromedia studio mx 2004 - including dreamweaver mx 2004, flash mx 2004, coldfusion mx 2004, and fireworks mx 2004) all for free at a rumage sale ... the guy said that he couldnt get it to work and he had just tossed it into the free box...so i took it and installed it and love it

parasite eve was a great game (personally i have never "played" number 2, only one) i loved the look and feel of it. reminded me a lot of resident evil but with a different twist - and yes, better cameras. i hated the camera on resident evil games it always pissed me off and got me killed... i never did finish parasite eve tho...i got stuck at the three headed dog part - early on in the game...and quit

looks like it would help, but it doesnt...i have done all those things and it doesnt help...the drive might be dead - at least this one - but my other burner isnt recognized by windows as a "burner" but still burns cds...i suppose i should just throw the drive away (but its a 24x burner )

i recently got an hp cd writer from one of my friends hp computers (they got a new dl dvd rw ) and she said it was having problems saying that it wasnt being recognized by windows properly and all that stuff, and she also said that when she went onto hp they didnt have any newer drivers than the one that she had. well...i said id take it anyways thinkin maybe i could get it fixed somehow, i plugged it in and it is not recognized properly, it only comes up as a cd drive in windows explorer. but that is what my other cd burner has also been doing, so i figured maybe it will still work, but i put a cd in it and it wont read it or w/e. it is making me mad, everything recognizes it, device manager says it has no conflicts but it wont read any cds or anything. also i have 2 hd and 2 cd drives...that is four ide (max) but in device manager it says i have another one (a storage device - intel atapi sumtin - i have p4 mobo and processor) so i disabled one of my hd but it still didnt fix it ( i was figuring maybe the fact of it having more than max ide that it screwed it up....) idk...help please...im running windows xp professional.

yeah, i actually found some drive rails that work (but are not made for it) so now i have two pairs of them, but i still need more (a lot more to be exact, i got about six of these cases and need 2 pairs each) i am gonna take a pic of the slides i got right now...i will post that later (when i have the time to drag out my camera - its locked up somewhere at school)

e3 insider has released tons of new in game screenshots (not just for the ps3) but i found the ps3 ones the most amazingest of all the amazingest screenshots... there was also a few in-game videos released on g4techtv but i cant view those at school...either me or killer008r will post those later...unless someone else gets to it sooner... arent those screens awesome...make me wana...

i had posted the chs reborn template a couple months ago, and people seemed to like it a lot. but they also noted some of the minor (maybe major) errors with its design, such as the links not being readable. and loading taking to fast. so i had decided to come up with a flash based template, to save loading time. and i had also changed the name from chs reborn (chocolate heating system reborn) to blue waffle dot com (no real meaning behind name - just like it) well...the template is done, i am workin on the site...tell me what you think -what you think...i like it a lot its awesome

nah...i got problem solved...sold laptop but it was only in games: hl2, nfsu2, doom3, and a few others only games that didnt support the radeon igp 340m vid card was hl2 and possibly doom 3...but like i said, i sold the laptop so im good...thnks for all the help i now have a desktop (gonna buy my new laptop sumtime next month when i get paid) desktop has p4 2.8ghz with some crap vid card that i tossed in there quick and has 256mb ddr .... the new laptop i am getting is an emachine

our school has the cell phone rule to (cant use cell phones on school ground but can have them on school ground) it is really stupid and doesnt make much sense to me. personally i think that we should be allowed to use them in school as long as they are not disturbing classes or causing any problems. ( i believe they have that rule here because it interferes with some of their server equipment or sumtin - just stuff ive heard- but ive never heard of a cell phone interfering with any of that stuff because cell phones work off of different frequencies). in waupaca they allowed cell phones in the school, you could use them in the halls and even in the study rooms (cept library) but you could not use them during class (if you did use them worst they could do was take them away for the remander of class period - nuttin big) but compared to school i go to now (clintonville) waupaca seems very very leinant...but it was great. i think that it is stupid of them to suspend the kid. i mean, i understand he was swearing and what not (personally i think that we should be able to say what we want) but just cause he was talking to his mom WHO IS IN IRAQ and he might not be able to talk to her for a while. and yes they created a bigger problem by creating a big fuss about it especially considering they are in a city with a big military base (clintonville has only had a total of 3-5 people head to iraq, i believe, could be wrong, probably am)

great idea...umm yeah...but we kinda got it fixed now thanks a lot...grabbed a cdrw from other computer and used that instead, so now we're stuck here burnin cds (10 gigs worth) but its workin...dont know why i just didnt think of this before but yeah...w/e thanks again

this isnt completly a hardware problem but it is mostly... windows xp was giving me an error message saying that i had deleted/replaced system files that was requred for windows to run properly and it needed me to insert my xp upgrade cd to fix problems (upgrade cd is what came with computer -xp pro) after inserting cd and files started being copied it started popin error messages at me saying that files can not be found on the cd. figured restarting computer and restarting the setup would fix it...well, didnt, just created a bigger problem. it would boot into xp pro and start the setup again, but it would bring up a blue screen saying please insert your windows xp pro cd and hit enter to continue (well, cd was in there and hitting enter would just flash the screen and bring up the message again) tried the xp professional install cd instead of just upgrade cd and it still did the same thing. decided to use another hard drive with windows xp on it to get to the files on the hard drive that has the problems to save the files that we still need. so after changing jumpers around and rebooting windows and letting hardware changes take place, we deleted everything off of the main hard drive (one with problem) except the files that need to be saved (deleted windows folder and everything else as well). went to burn files to a cd but when blank cd was inserted cd drive didnt pick it up. went to update driver (said no new driver found) went online to get latest driver from hp (no new drivers). and now we're stuck. tried lookin online for web space to save the files to (we need 10 gig's of space) but all of them are too expensive and kind of pointless to do when we only need it for a few hours. we dont have any hard drives big enough to hold 10 gig's (all we have is a 4 and a 2 gig) the only hard drive that we have is the 40 gig and that is the one with the problems. have thought of just formatting the hard drive and using data recovery software to get the files back...but there is no garentee on getting the files back and these are important files. have thought of going out to buy a new hard drive but it is too late here (10:15) and every place is already closed and non of my friends have a hard drive that i can borrow as well. what can i do ?!?!?!do any of you know how to fix the cd-rw problem ? or maybe you have one big solution for me...idk...anything plz

nope...lol...but i will say amped 2 is prolly the best snowboarding game out there...i love it, i dont exactly own it - i have amped and love it as well (already beaten it - and still play it) and i have ssx3, i kinda like the non-realisticness of it tho...the way you can just kinda do w/e tricks you want...but i dont like the levels...they are too...fake yeah...i also dont like the way ssx3 is set up...the menus and accessing levels and crap... amped2 is a much better game

well...i couldnt find a model number, think someone might have taken sticker off before i got it...but i found a pic of one similar to mine... but the only difference is...the one in the pic doesnt have drive slides ! but the mounts look the same - just get rid of screw holes - insert slides and you got mine

i got two nobilis's that i use as servers along with my laptop....and i need drive slides for one of them...nobilis is dead right...did someone buy them out ? cause i have to find the company and get some drive slides...i couldnt find ne on ebay...i will post model num later (running out of time)

well...i reinstalled windows (this time windows 2003 server because windows xp professional was giving me some minor problems with vpc - works better with windows 2003 server for some reason) and i updated all my drivers and installed direct x 9.0c (would that matter even tho my vid card isnt direct x 9.0 compatible ? would that be it ?) but installed all my games again and played them, it still does it tho, but this time it is about 8 mins (i only tested it with two games tho - sims2 and soldier of fortune platinum edition) about the heat thing, i installed cpu cool on my system and i have temps of 52 and 78 (yeah...i know...bad bad bad bad...) so that is most likely the problem here isn't it.... so now the question is what do i do! those cooling items mentioned are good but will they actually get rid of my problem (or should i just buy a new laptop - since ive been thinkin of doin that ne ways - here is the laptop that i have actually been looking at for a while now, it is an emachines with a 64 bit amd with hyper transport)

yeah i was really really bored...thas what happens when you go to high school and take classes that youve already taken twice and yeah i know that it isnt really anything new...but some of my friends found it neat...idk...i think id be ok...but maybe let you choose the theme of the site before login or w/e (i.e. the windows, or my original chsreborn theme or sumtin else) idk...its all just kinda thought right now, just sorta wanted to know what everyone else thought about it...before i put it on the web and find out people hate it

this is a new thing i have been messing around with...i used option buttons to change the background color, push a button-change the color. so far i got about 70 different colors going from 000000-00006f....yes i know, doing all the colors will take a very very very very very long time, but like i said this is just sumtin im doin when im bored, very very very bored. but what do you thinkalso i will post my new website template (windows xp pro) it will look just like windows...and you can choose what color you want (i.e. silver, green, or blue), what you think of that ? - i should have pic uploaded come tomorrow
