i said i would reply so here it goes i really like your system of a down sigs...but i noticed one thing....you got all these images from rocktoons! not that thats a bad thing, i mean i love rock toons. currently i am using that system of a down image that you used in your second sig that you posted for a shirt design.... -this one i like your style as well, it sticks out. and i think that saint-michael said it the best... although i would have to say i dont like some of the people you used in your sigs (specificly tenacious D) but that is not the point here now is it and your sigs are awesome no matter what ! - i could give you some pointers on all this...but i think that would be stupid considering that i havent been doing this that long...and i am a n00b but i still love your sigs... another of my favorite sigs out of those would have to be the truefusion sig... -this one i dont know what it is about it...maybe just the simplicity or the render but it is amazing...it doesnt really look like it would take that long to make it (not to nock you or anything) but it is awesome...i love it keep up the good work, and thanks for all the comments on my sigs Reaver!

thanks guys...umm...i am not 100% sure that niko (or neko) is cat in japanese...but yeah...lol...idk ... i was lookin for a translator so that i could find out...or a dictionary or sumtin...but i got stuck and couldnt find nuttin...anyways...i need the japanese word not chinese (i still might be wrong...but anyways lets pursume im not ) lol....o well...thanks for that image though...but i dont want to put it in there if it isnt right...and i want to make sure that its neko and not niko or w/e ... anyways...i was messin around and came up with two more...(working on the text blending with the background - thats the point of the last couple sigs...) thoughts please...thank you for all the comments and help and support so far

yet another sig...this one i need some comments on though...i was contemplating starting another topic...but i opted not to...anyways...which one is better...green or blue ? the sigs are for a friend...her sn is niko...meaning cat in japanese (or chinese or sumtin ) anyways...i wanted to get the word niko in japanese on there as well...but i couldnt find any programs or fotns or anything that could do that ? can someone point me in the right direction? possibley a japanese font pack? or a translator? or maybe just an image with the word niko in japanese thanks!

yes, i do appreciate the fact that you actually said what you did and didnt like about the images. And i am sorry bout that, it just annoys me when people try to reply to posts and add all this junk into their reply that makes no sense what so ever...it helps if you know a little more about what you are talking about...and are able to back up what you say....i can understand that, even though you know the subject, and possibly even the program, that you still dont know exactly how i made the pic or what effects, so you just toss out words (such as rainbow, pollution, impure water, or w/e). i am also sorry about the typo thing, i got carried away, i too make mistakes.

yeah, i have to download some plugins to get animal life and plant life with terregen....but i could just superimpose them in with photoshop too...it might actually look better then ...and yeah, i dont know what happened. in the little preview render box the water looked fine...but when i did the final render...it turned out like crap...i think i might have made the wave size too big or maybe accidently turned down the accuracy or sumtin...idk

wow...thirty posts huh...great job...you been here since june....nice...maybe next time you can try not to make such long posts to get credits...actually make sense and put some thought into what you are saying...i mean, do you actually realize what you typed ? ... rainbow? pollution? water doesnt seem pure? did you read anyo of the other posts....you couldnt even end the bold and italics you tried to use for your name! anyways (sorry m^e if its a bit off topic) i would like honest replies to these pictures.... first of all...the first image...i technically didnt make on my own...the program "terregen" as i said generated it...all i do is configure the program to make water, land, sky...and set them to w/e i want...and the program makes the image...what i wanted was to take that image and manipulate it into something beautiful. what i would like is to get some tips on using terregen and honest coments on the image that i created.... thanks...and sorry, i just had to get that out of my system.

like i said this was my first time messing around with terregen...i never said i was that good...i tried to fix it with photoshop...but i got lazy and bored...i think i musta been on dope when i made it ... anyways...any ideas on how to fix it with terregen ?

yeah...you can get spyware and other junk when you download pictures...but usually you wont get that unless you go to a site that doesnt check what their are posting and is posting everyones created images within zip files and such. usually i just view the background and right click and save as or as was mentioned, set as background. there are a few good sites you there that i have found, and wont give you spyware as well...the sites monitor the files - but also claim no reponsibility (funny how it works) anyways...one was mentioned... deviantart - it is a good site with a lot of peoples work on it (deviants) and there is a lot of great backgrounds, along with brushes, windows themes, boot screens, and lots more. another is wincustomize - it isnt the best...but it does have a lot of great wallpapers and other stuff for you enjoyment.

this is my first time using terregen...it is a rendering program that will generate scenery for you. this is what i came up with after a little messing around with the settings. it is a hot hazy late-afternoon on a lake shore. heres a link to the first image...images are 1024x768 and were too big to put both as attachments so i just made them links i had fun with the program and i liked its abilities...but i didnt like the picture that it came up with...so i took it into photoshop and manipulated it a little bit heres a link to the second image...images are 1024x768 and were too big to put both as attachments so i just made them links ... i added a sun and made the colors more brilliant...but in doing so i kinda made the picture darker...i also added some more clouds..but they dont look that great....any ideas on how to fix it ? or maybe some pointers in using terregen ?

so is there any limitations on colors or anything....like i understand that you wouldnt want any obscene graphics being used (such as nudity - althought that could turn out pretty good ) but i mean like...any design...and are you guys actually going to use these ? or is this just for fun and possibly an estimate of what you guys would update them to ?

here is one brand new sig....(sig not banner) and the audioslave and mcr banner with the borders the sig i did two days ago and took me about five hours...because i had to find a pic with the apc logo (two half circles) so that i could pen them and make my own from that image...then i had a lot of layer blendings on this sig as well... thanks again for all the comments

thanks yeah i know...i didnt feel like putting borders on these...at least not yet...and i noticed they were more banners than sigs...but you guys wanted them longer and not as tall ... lol yeah i will stick to the 450 x 150...those are 645 x 75 and i usually make mine 425 x 125 and those are within that range...and you guys complained ! ... lol idk...i just wanted the sigs rated on their design quality and not their size...i was just sorta messin around...thanks again for all the comments(go Xisto - t3 baby lightning speed...im luvin it)

i like the fifth one even though it is biger...i think it would be better if it were smaller (say 125x425 - my standard ) but i wasnt comparing sizes....i like what you did with the render in the fifth one...it pops out more where as you blended the others into the background more so (i get that a lot too...where they say its transparent instead of blending...its kinda annoying - i hardly ever change the opacity...opacity hides image too much)i also agree that the metal-cxs brushes are the best...and yes they are overly used...i try to stay away from them as well....i also have a variety of brushes that i like to use...and i also try to mix them...but sometimes you cant exactly mix them to get the best effect...but sometimes it just turns out right...idk...there seems to be too much open space in 2,3, and 4...i just like 5 1 is good too though...but yeah...5 is best

ok guys...i have read your replies and i have listened....here is what i came up with the image size is longer and not as tall...i compressed them down more...they are a woppin 124kb anymore...these two i believe are around 20-40kb so yeah...i kept it simple yet added some of my style (stile - layer blending) hope you like... this is a my chemical romance sig this is an audioslave sig...i had some issues with it...i came up with two...slitely different ones...tell me which is better and why... i hope you guys enjoy these new sigs as much as i do...thanks for all of your comments so far i appreciate them very much

yeah the save quality is really cap on some of my sigs....but i realize that but just didnt feel like fixing the problem on those specific sigs some of them i did...some i didnt...depends whether i was lazy or not

how many times do i have to tell you killer008r....you need to give me some images that YOU want in YOUR sig, then i can make YOUR sig....you told me you deleted the image that you used in your starting sig....i need that image...then i will go from there and recreate your sig and improve upon it...i like where you were going with it...but it still needs more...if you really want i can take that and just toss the cs emblem and name onto it for you with your clan name...but i dont think it will look good because then i cant do the blending effects that i usually do with the layers....i also think that your guy in the background needs to be more prominent and i need the image do that...

i guess they are big, but i have never personally had a problem with loading times...they usually load within a couple seconds...not as long as you are saying...but i understand that my images are big, they are saved as png...i will try to compress them and see if i can reduce the size...i like this size sigs because i can fit bigger renders into the sigs. instead of being limited to say about 75-100 pixels for the height i have 125 (not much more...but i think its better) and if i have it longer and shorter...idk...i guess this is just my style (stile) and that effect you are talking about...i am not really sure what you are talking about...if you give me more of a description on what you are talking about maybe i can help you a little bit more.... yes i do a lot of layer effects...drop shadows, blending, opacity...brings images together...but it doesnt always work...sometimes the blur tool is the best way to go anyways...just give me more description on what you are talking about....like a certain sig...or certain image or part of the sig... thanks for all the comments...appreciated

umm...i do create a lot of sigs without the lens flare effect...that eleanor one i just wanted to add some pizazz to the car...make it look more alive...so i went with it...i have lots without the flare though...but yes i do like it a lot.... i mean, those two counterstrike sigs, the hl2 sig, mcr sig...they all dont have the flare...i think i only have two or three actually

i havent worked with this piece for a while...but i like your guys ideas...yes that purple rectange shape is suppose to be a three demensional tunnel but when i put the shadows and highlights on them they just took up too much space....and it distorted the image that i wanted a little...so i went with the flares instead...idk...i have lots of other work now....i like hl2 sig the best...but there are certainly others link to my other works

yeah...since i cant delete posts...this is a very old post...from sometime last year...they dumped my design...but yeah you cant see the image because my site got deleted when Xisto made the server switch...and yeah i know...our website is s/h/i/t...it really needs some work. we only have one guy working on it and his excuse is that he is only one guy...lame excuse...yeah but that was an assignment for my world wide web class that i took with killer008r ... (we ruled the class) but that was last year...so...look at the post date next time just a little hint (it says may 17, 2005 at 2:11pm)

yeah...there is only that serial port...but i dont know how to manage it or if that is even what the serial port is for...i have seen other ap's that have serials and they are used for up/down connections to connect to other ap's to share that network....kinda like switches...but yeah...idk
