yes, but Windows Vista is going to cause so many problems for you. For instance, they just change the license. Another things is that your older programs might not work from Windows XP or 2000.For example, there were already problems with iTunes, things weren't rendered properly.Lastly, Windows Vista is such a bloatware, it's slow and most of the stuff are unnecessary and useless.O, and I do recommend u to get a Mac insteadxboxrulz -
Windows Xp Vs Windows Vista
xboxrulz1405241485 replied to aboutthe's topic in Websites and Web Designing
actually, they just released the last RC before they ship one last test version before releasing it to the general public.I think due to the new license changes, I don't think a lot of people would upgrade. Even better, I don't think people would continue use Microsoft Windows. It's expensive and the new End User License Agreement (EULA) will backstab a lot of people and businesses.xboxrulz -
OpenSuSE is the base of SuSE. SuSE just includes non opensource packages that you can't get with the free download due to licenses. As a matter of fact, I'm running OpenSuSE 10.1 right now.xboxrulz

Just Got A New Laptop.... a couple questions
xboxrulz1405241485 replied to Grafitti's topic in Software
the only concern I have on that laptop for Linux is that Linux doesn't have a 3D driver for SiS based chips, as far as I've read on the Internet.Furthermore, I highly recommend Acers, they are great! They are one of the top 5 laptops preferred at my school!xboxrulz -
well, if you need the dependency, then must download those files. There's no avoiding it.xboxrulz

apparently Averatec hardware doesn't like anything that isn't Windows based. You should file a complaint on that.xboxrulz -
