spacewaste1405241471 replied to phoenix47's topic in Websites and Web Designing
lol yes i love the sweeds for such laws ...That seems to be the new way around the states. PEople are begining to host their sites on other countries soil...This saves them from such laws. But fi you want two good bit torrent sites that are no where near ont he verge of dying go to: http://best-vpn.reviews/?id=38 or http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Those two work rgeat for me And for the matter of exeem. Exeem is sitll in it's beta form so there will be some slow searches and other small bugs, but form what I have seen and read it looks to be the next big thing int he world of p2p networks Hope that helped you out. -

spacewaste1405241471 replied to whafizi's topic in Web Hosting Support
Man...Get your firewall to unblock cpanel if that is the problem!...But for some rason I doubt that is it The port numebr is 2082 though. There is also SSL login which is something like https://www.name.com/index.php/ ? I think...Try it with the port number and also without for the SSL Good luck -
I seem to have found the best way to make money so far when looking through some help forums on the net. SurfJunkySo far from what I have seen it is the best way to make cash possible, FAST . Sufrjunky allows you to register and start by making 0.45$ a hour. It may not seem like a lot right now, but wait until you hear how you make the money. They just have this browser going that refreshes every 30 seconds, and as logn as you keep it open it will allow you to earn the money. There are two down parts to this though. Thr page that is opened is qutie annoying and pops up everytime it refreshes (30seconds), and they do not allow firefox browsers. Also it is a lot better idea to do this if you have highspeed as opposed tod ial up. Because dial up will lag bad if you keep that browser open. The good thign aboutt his is that you can just leave your browser open while you sleep, and thigns like that. So thats a really good point about it. Also the longer you keep it open the more activity points you get. And with mroe activity points you earn more money. You can earn up to 0.75$ a hour . Pretty sweet deal if I do say so myself. They pay in multiple methods aswell, so almost anybody is eligible. Make sure to read the agreement they give you though. I wouldn't want to lose all my money because I broke the rules. They also pay monthly like google, but from what I have seem...They don't scam like google They also have a referal system that goes three levels deep. This is how it would work: *You refer somebody *Then they refer people *Then they refer people And you get some credit for all of those. The link is once again... SurfJunky.com I used my referal link, that way I earn points to. It seems like a honest system to me. But if they are scammers please post it now. I don't want people getting sucked into this, and I don't want to waste my comps time over a scam. I hope this works out for you Good Luck

Making A Cool Website can someone help
spacewaste1405241471 replied to JohnNitro's topic in Websites and Web Designing
lhunath (a member on this site) si working on such a project with his friends or peers, not sure. but it seems that you would need quit a number of people to do this, and thats only if you're making a online game that is texte based, whwere there is no interaction of 3d or 2d characters. If you wanted interaction that would take some serious programming, and would most likely need java, and other similar languages, not to mention flash.I suggest you read up on the basics of php b4 you attempt to make a text based game. And maybe if you do want to make the game, you get a group of people who would be willing to do it with you and share your opinion on the game. A good idea for this would be if you could get 15memebers together and apply for the group hosting package. This package gives you a free domain name, plus 1gb of space and many other features :)But they would have to know programming and be willing to share the account with you.Oh well. Good luck with this project. -
That sounds like you are gunna need a lot of scripting. First to setup the login. and then to give them sucha ability. Sounds like a lot of work man.How expirienced are you in php?And yes that would be aloud to be hosted on Xisto.

Free link exchange is allowed? lol why wouldn't it be. N you are better off doing it in php then cgi. Well that's just my opinion. I like php more n I can actualy do some of it so yeah :)Try typing "free link exchange php codes" inside google. Should work if you know how to search well

It wouldn't take up that much bandwitdh. Each torrent is no miore then 100kbs big and normaly very to be around 6-45kdb's. The problem would be that it would take a lot to track a lot of torrents, but since I don't plan on having that many it wouldn't effect me that much. -
Setting Up A Web Server Computer At Home
spacewaste1405241471 replied to e-kiene's topic in Websites and Web Designing
I just replied to a smiliar problem inside another topic. But instead of showing how to do it I more concentrated on the software needed Between the two of these posts I think you could manage a nice server http://forums.xisto.com/topic/82260-topic/?findpost= good luck -
OK first of all to host a web services on your computer you should get your hand son the latest version of appache or I think the program IIS? Or somethign like that....It comes inside windows xp pro and windows 2003 servers. With these you can then install them to create a webhost for your computer. Installing appache is hard at first but once you know hwat you are doing it is easy. I have no knowledge about IIs or w.e it is though. Sorry. After you've installed those you should configure your router or internet connection to allow such services. Also make sure you get your hands on some damn good firewall protection and worm protection. Espicialy with MYSQL which I will explain in a minute. Ok now that you have a webhost installed on your computer you can have people connect to your computer and such. Quick tip: Go to http://dyn.com/dns/ that site allows you to get a link to your site that is more along the lines of http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ instead of having your address by a IP like ***.***.***.*** I just find it a lot easier if you have a address to replace the ip....Which is exactly what dynDNS.org does. This tool is VERY usefull if you have a ip that changes. That way instead of telling people to go to the new ip address each time you can still tell them to go to the link, and just download a tool fromt he website that will allow you to update where the address something.something.com points to...In other words whenever your ip changes the program tells the address and updates it so the address is continuously pointing towards the right place. Now onto MYSQL. MYSQL is also a very important program for any webhost. With MYSQL you can host databases so people can create interactive site type things...The basic thing behind php for example. A lot of php code works with databases so you'll have to have a database host set up so your php codes will actualy work . The problem with MYSQL is people like to attack it. IT makes your computer very visible to the internet. So it is HIGHLY recommended that you set your firewall and worm protection and virus protection to a way where it will stop hackers. Next up for simple webhosts is installing PHP. Installing php is a good idea because without installing it no php scripts will work on your webserver or host, and when people try to access them it will try to download them instead of showing them properly. So download yourself a copy of PHP and install it onto your computer. Finaly for a decent webhost you should download phpMYAdmin so that you can remotely manage your databses and easily provide hosting via databse to other people. Oh and to make access easier download yourself a program that will allow you ftp connections. I don't have any to recommend right now but sucha program is very utile if you want to maintain your website and you are nowhere near home. Plus that way you can provide ftp access to your webhost. Notes: *Don't offer webhost through your computer unless you have a VERY fast connection and ALOT of resources available. I would recommend you just use your webhost that you've set up as a personal host or test host. *It is VERY important that you keep all your programs up to date if they have to do with your webhost espicialy. There are constant loop holes inside software found by hackers...Or Crackers more likely...So it's always good to have the most up to date version of your software to keep from being attacked or cracked. *All software I mentioned can be found in google if you type exactly what I said...Normaly it is one of the first two or three results...But if you sstill can't find it...Add the word software next to it to get better results. *Anything I mentioned in this is just the thigns that I have done to set up my webhost. There are many other things you can do...For example if you want to enable perl? I personaly don't know how to do that. But if I'm not mistaken there are modules on the apache website that will allow you the ability to get those extensions to work. I hope this helped you out and answered your questions. I didn't go into detail about how to install it because I don't have the time and it's been a long time since I bothered installing it. But there are manuals on the websites for the software. It's also a good diea you know stuff about MYSQL espicialy because it is the most complicated of all the things I have mentioned above and the manual has gotta be a good 50 pages atleast! So don't bother reading it all unless you have the time That's all for me though. If you need help on installing one of the programs mentioned just post it and I'm sure we have others that can help you to

Linux P2p What to use
spacewaste1405241471 replied to tattoopunk's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Well for torrent programs...They just came out with exeem... http://exeem.com/ it's liek the newest revelation in torrent programs...It eliminates the need for trackers and everybody uis a tracker...It's like a p2p/torrent program....It's really something if I say so myself Or you could try bitcomet...http://www.bitcomet.com/ or somethign like that...they both do wonders for me. But I'm not sure if they work for linux. But then again you could use a linux emulate program like wine or something so it should be fine right? Good luck -

Half the time I restart the computer in my bedroom I get a disk read error and I get that error on startup. So I just figured as long as I don't restart nothing can go wrong right?Well...My sis just restarted that computer and now I'm getting a disk read error....It says that I should hit alt-ctrl-del and try again...Well I keep getting a error and normaly whenever I used to get it I would just reformat it...But I really don't feel like reformating it...And it has a lil data that I don't wanna lose.So does anybody know a way around this? It sounds like its corrupted...But I work more with software then with hardware...So I have no idea what to do :)Any help would be appreciated.Thnx

To get into hotmail...Try using another email service that knows how to manage e-mail through its site. I think gawab.com or bluebottle.com would work. I use both but not for checking hotmail. N for your friends bands site. Try the proxie thing. Or you could maybe change the firewall settings of your school? Mine are really easy to get into...So I never have that problem.Good luck though

Change Of Password Something is wrong...
spacewaste1405241471 replied to Xevian's topic in Web Hosting Support
I can't reset your password...I tried it but for some reason after three logings it gives me the login menu again instead of the page that lets me etheir login to ur cpanel with ur username n password....N under that there should be a link that lets you reset it.Just hit the reset button there and you should be fine.I just hope you provided the right email address inside your cpanel. Cuz it sends you the password to your account to that e-mail address. If none of those work just pm opaque with your account info and he will reset it for you
