Guys...Guys...The internet will never end...Only evolve...The only possible way for it to really end is if...Say a elite groupe of hackers were to get there hands on some high tech goverment power and then have worms and trojans spread across the net then turn every computer into a personal webserver (which is easiest to do with Xp cuz it already has that capability built into it) and then once each computer is turned on to become a server they could easily bruteforce there way into each and every single computer and reak havoc....But...What are the chances of that ?

That technique is good if your ip is banned from certain hosts and you don't feel like getting a new ip cuz you for example hsot a website or something on your comp lol

hmmmm....here's a interresting question that somehwat has something do to with the current topic...I have heard of people forging their ip address' so that when somebody looks up your ip it will show whatever you want it to show....Is this possible...And if so does anybody know any information on it?

GAH!!!! I've just been assigned a tech project in my tech class worth 15% of my fianl grade....I have to make a radio station using the program DRS-2006....Honestly I have no idea what to do at the moment...But I'm going to be readying the manual and post some info about it afterwards but in the meantime I was wondering if anybody could fill me in a little ont he subject...That way I don't need to read the whole manual...but meh if anybody has any info just post it here and then I'll post what I've learned when I can...but christmas break is coming so I'm sure I'll get some reading down.

oh god....now theres a good idea...I'd like to ehar the name of this powder as soon as possible so I cna look into the effects and what not. I'm a procrastinator so I save almost every project I've ever had to do for the last minute so using that powder to keep me awake would be a pretty nice thing to have. Just download a mysql program at the mysql homepage i think its http://www.mysql.com/ then you can do allt he server side changes yourself and also you can add phpmyadmin to it so you'll be able to work from anywhere. well thats just my opinion anyways I find mysql to be the most usefull but theres another one out there that ends in swl I juts forget what it's called

hmmmmmm....that would work...but I'm wondering is there anybodyt hat could give any pointers on how to gett he max out of your connection. Like When I'm not networking my net speed is supposed 2 be 1.5mps but In reality I never downloaded faster then 250kbs. The only time I downloaded at the max of 1.5mps was when I was using a program that is made for only downloading games. What I'm really trying 2 ask is is there anybody that has the technology or knowledge that could tell me how to get the max of my connection.....which should be 1.5mps and not 256kbs. The answer would be greatly appreciated but I'm also quite fine witht he speed I'm going at right now which is 100kbs...cuz im splitting my connection three way....but if i could utalise my connection I would be able to go about 600kbs or around there and that would be nice to oh well any answers would be appreciated. thnx

Eminem is by far the biggest piss of $H1t I've ever seen in my life but then again I h8 almost all rap...anybody can sing about having sex in a car or selling whores and rhyming words like black and wack...its simple and a bunch of bull. Use Ws_ftp its one of the best free programs out there but other programs also work that come built in...for example dreamweaver has a built in ftp programt hat will allow you to upload anything onto your website and its quite easy. You could also you windows 98 and up, i think it was, built in ftp program. It's simple, but at times can be a real piss off. It's good to use though if programs like cute ftp are causing you headaches and errors a mille long.And for the question about ipb proacrade yes you can upload that with a program but you'll have to install it manualy ftp programs don't install... just upload and download

You can download phpnuke at https://www.phpnuke.org/ Install requires mysql and php installed on your server You may need to edit some files manualy but most of it is just easy set up depending on your server. the latest free version is 7.4, for some reason they made 7.5 a pay version so I don't know what thats like. But 7.4 works pretty good for me. There are on the other hand a lot of other cms programs out there such as XOOPS I don't recommend phpnuke personaly because of how so many people use it, it really tends to make sites uniform instead of individual oh well though And for all you posters going off topic i recommend you stop now for I will soon be giving warnings to accounts and banning people for hours to days at a time depending on how often I see you spamming about ****....For example how good cpanel is. If you want to talk about cpanel and enumarate its features just start a new topic. I don't want people getting confused inside the forums.

Wow guys wow...I'm sorry I couldn't have joined into a discussion like this sooner. I also like to help people witht heir problems and I have my own perspectives on life and my friends say I'm pretty good at giving advice. Also like avalon I've had plenty of ups and downs in my life and I've wanted my life to end on many occasions. In fact I was depressed almost all summer and a pretty big percentage of septembre so I know what it feels liek to question yourself your life your friends and anything you ever held dear. First of all before I give my opinion ont he to subjects at hand (why do some people want to die, and why do some people try to change others...or atleast thats what I think they are) I would like to say im a atheist. I don't really believe in anything and don't really have much to look up to so I know what its to feel completly alone and not have a god to talk to. Secondly just because I'm a atheist doesn't mean any other religion is wrong I just don't find what they say very believable. Although I do enjoy some parts of some religions, all depending on which religion we are talkign about here. But back to whats really important...First of all the fact that some people want to die is quite a normal and natural thing. Everybody must suffer atleast one depression in their lifetime and during many of those depressions, if its really actualy a subject to be depressed about people tend to want to kill themselves and some follow through with what their mind tells them to. Personaly I think killing yourself is wrong, but as I said earlier I have been depressed on many occasions and have wanted to die many times. But to actualy kill yourself could be against your religion first of all...for all you religious people. But more importantly killing yourself kills everybody around you in the process. Anybody that loves you or even considers you a friend. If you were to kill youself they would all suffer, and no matter where you are if they mean anything to you and you see them suffering because of your actions you're only going to feel worse about yourself. There are many thigns you can do to get your mind off things. Like get into some kind of hobby your really good at and make yourself do that until you forget about some of your troubles. For example when I was depressed I started looking for webhosts to host my website and to give me testing grounds. Then I found Xisto and started posting. Later on I learned a lot about apache and I became so into webservers that I forgot about my troubles and then I finaly became happy again. Another thing that can always help you out is to just go outside and walk around to organise your mind even just hang out with a friend or something. And if you still feel like a piece of **** go outside when it's extremly cold outside and raining without a jacket or sweater. Feel the rain drops on your body as they freeze you. If you can stand to suffer that cold then you are quite depressed for one reason or another and should just sleep your problems away or talk to somebody. If you can't take the cold go back inside to your warmth, for that warmth willa lways be there waiting for you to come back.Now onto the controlling thing. I can't really give you much details for this one as I am no in a hurry to eat and study for science but I thinkt hat when people try to change you ebcause you are different do not consider it a bad thing. They are happy in their own way but when they see you they might not see your happyness and maybe they have some kind of heart and try to change you to make you happy but normaly end up hurting you more then helping. And yeah at times those people can be real *BLEEP*s, so just make sure they know your happy and you don't need anything from them accept their acceptance.I must now go. I'm sorry I couldn't go into more detail with what I've written but if you find what I've got to say interresting or simila to your life I'd be glad to talk more about it. And don't forget this is just one mans opinion no need to agree or disagree or follow any of it. I could just be rambeling on for all i know

Hi, I haven't been very active lately and I'm sorry for that. I've been working hard on turning my computer into a server and it's going quite well. I'm almost where I wanna be progress wise so I'm going to be posting more often on Xisto once again. Also this may be a little off topic but if anybody ever wants to ebcome a server I advice do not use MYSQL 5.0beta some programs arn't yet compatible with it and it's very aggrevating. Oh well once again sorry for not posting much but I'm going to try harder but I still won't be on as often as I can because of school and all. Oh well if anybody has any new questions I will try to answer them, with my new knowledge of become a server :PI g2g to school though L8r

lol with ftp its EZ!!! just select all the files u wanna change permissions 2 and then just right click em and hit properties n just poof changes ez the easest ftp program that works good for me that would allow u 2 do that would be ctuftp...well thats in my opinion
