windows longhorn won't be nearly as slow as it is right now...keep in mind that right now its still only at its alpha phase, it still has to hit tis beta phase were windows will let some ppl test it out, and then of course when it hits the actualy sellable edition where the codenamer "longhorn" will be changed it will be working a hell of a lot better and will lag a whole lot less I expect the minimum requirements for longhorn will only be like maybe 800mhz or 1ghz and about 256ram minimun which if u look at your computer now that doesn't seem all so bad at all...If you ahve less then that you were do for a upgrade anyways

just download any known image editor for example photo shop or flash fireworks or something and they should offer their the ability to convert to any other type of picture and even give u quality options depending on wether u wanna save space or not...and if they don't have that ability just save it under some other type of file

hmm....an even easier way to do it would be without much knowledge of php at all. Just try liek a php portal i recommend e107 but meh u could just do it the old fashion way with writting the code urself

yeah you will probably notice some slowness on your computer if you install an ftp server and its actualy used often from other puters plus that will eat your bandwitdh right up...I don't recommend it unless u got highspeed n a good puter

I think there may be a conflict because even if you close firefox it could still be running in proccesses....which u can c by hitting control-alt-delete...try closing firefox from the processes menu and see if IE works

Hmmmm.....sounds like maybe a type of virus or adware program ahs been installed to clash with ie and have rederections or stop connections. Also it could be your servers fault, not sure. Maybe firefox is interfearing with ie so you can't run both at the same time?

Hi I'm trying to install 123flashchat onto this server under my account (wasofpsace.astahost.com)but everytime I do it says cannot cannot, I replaced the ip it needs with the ip of my account, but im not exactly sure what port to put it on and i need ssh access, plz help out as soon as you can I think i might need a admin to give me my ssh information pm me the answer if others rn't supposed to know if not just post it here...ty

hmmm....could you describe your problem a little more like computer information ex: os, age, etc.... I've heard of this problem before, have you installed any new mp3 programs or any new programs for that matter?

damn it royster you didn`t read the sign up page!!! you need a minimum of ten posts to get a mini account in which you can upgrade once you've accumulated the minimum of ten posts. Once you havw the ten posts request the mini hosting package inside the request webspace forum of this site. When you have atleast 50 posts request a normal sign up and they will give you your account. But after you recieve the acocunt, you STILL need to STAY active inside the forums or your webspace will be taken again the minute we notice you are inactive

I don't know I'm sorry man I don't know much about smsing but I know phpbb2 is really good software and would prob be able to work with smsing...maybe not I don't know...Meh though IF not you can always just using pm's for ur service

Well then I suggest not downloading sp2 or like I said earlier I think you could jsut download the security packs seprately instead of sp2 all together you might not get stuff like the pop up blocked but it all depends how badly you want to block those pop ups

wtf m8 lol first of all...its a free domain so they shouldn't charge anything, and second of all the account isn't real, have you ever lied about your name or anything where they ask for to fill out forms if you ahve you've broken the law and I know you have.... *but i didn't know that that wasn't alloud to be posted so I will gladly remove it and refrain myself from further postings of that nature once I've been informed by a admin or moderator
