  2. ok so how would i put that into my page? would i add it to the top or bottom or in the middle of the page code?
  3. Out of all the ads systems ive tried i would say that google adsence has to be the best one ive used yet and also the highest paying as far as i know.
  4. Hi everyone, oik so there is this design im doing for a new site and the problem is that the site does not display properly in Internet Explorer but it does in firefox. How do i get the site to redirect you to a page that says somthing like "you need to have firefox instalkled to view this page" if you are not running firefox?
  5. It all looks fine to me as you have outlined everything but have you checked that there are not any loopholes in your rules?
  6. do you know how to write a cron script? if so have you writen one, if not i suggest you wright one or cron wont know what to backup.
  7. Why dont you just get a different login script thats simpler and that includes sessions like your current one?
  8. I think it looks really good. The crome effect really makes it look realistic almost like the real thing. I have to learn how to use this piece of software.
  9. What i would recomend is installing Netserver https://sourceforge.net/projects/netserver/ it incorporates MySQL and PHP i use it on my pc and is very simple to use it also comes with PHPMyAdmin which should sort out your database problem if you get it again.
  10. well in cronjobs in cpanel you can select when to run the cron but you also need to write a cron script that will tell the cron what to do. once youve done that everything should run. maby try running a google on your question an answer should come up.
  11. You could always start your own radio stationm from scratch. Im looking into just that as then you can set everything up your own way meaning that you can set your own songs and playlists ads ect. The only cut back there is that you have to set up an internet radio licence which can be time consuming but it is well worth it. But yeh if you do not have time to set that up you can use a site like flatcast.com as all the important stuff is taken care of alredy.
  12. well i do a lot of webdesign i charge about ?25.00 per hour minumum. The most ive ever made from web designing would be probabaly around ?10,000 i worked with a team of designers on that project. It is a grewat busineess to get into as you can charge your own prices. The only drawback is that the sites have to look really good and professional and nothing is allowed to be wrong with it or people start to complain.
  13. ive sucesfully set up phpbb on my site but the only thing thats annoying at the moment is that you cannot upload and install skins to phpbb 3 but i read on there site that when it is finally released the system will have all the skin options cant wait
  14. Id say spybot search and destory or avast home edition would be the best as they are both good scanners and both will delete the virus without any problems.
  15. You want to use Google AdSence they are the highest paying advertiser on the market and the best thing is they are free. Google AdSence have 3 add options.1. Text ads2. Image ads3. Animated AdsGoogle adsence also has add-targeting so say for instance somone on your site or forum askes a question. Google may pick this question up and display the relevent add.If integrated correctly onto webpages visitors will tend to click on them thus erning you money. The bast place to fit an add on a forum. would be in beteween the posts like here on trap. On a webpage the best place to locate the ads would be the top, bottom and middle.Popup adds can get annoying for some people and anaway now most browsers have popup blockers installed on them so pupups are not your answer. So to sum up Google AdSence are a good reputable company, they are free and have an advanced add-trageting and managment system, you can earn lots of money depending on the add clicked and there are three different add types to chose from and they layout of these ads can be changed to suit your site.
  16. PHPBB 3 looks very promicing like jlhaslip said hees set it up on his pc. ive done exactly the same but on a tsting server to get a propper feel of it. The layout is good and the ACP is easier to use. when it is released there will be some bugs in it i can assure you. But mon the whole it as a great piece of forum software.
  17. i could code a good forum using ASP but it would take a long time im not amazing with php so that could take even longer. download an opensource forum and edit it to your needs.
  18. Mking a forum is a long and hard process you will neeed to know several scripting languages such as PHP MySQL Pearl and possibaly CGI. you would be better downloading phpbb for another forum software.
  19. I would say the same as KuBI it would be great if you could do some more post. I love the 3d graphics by the way
  20. i would really not bother downloading this i did for my pc. It messed it up completly ended up having to reformat the drive so dont do it.
  21. well drinking is ok at parties and stuff but general no i dont tend to do it as it damages your liver if you drink to much.
  22. No hees not evil i just force him to be lol He is a great guy on and off trap and probabaly one of the most unique persons ive ever got to know
  23. get avast Home Edition its free and its better than AVG Free. it will remove the virus from the code so you would end up with a virus free code that you can use.
  24. icompletly dissagree i think fireworks is the best ok so its cant do as much as photoshop but just play around with things you will soon find what you need.
