there's a program called "Wink" that records desktop. It's free and it's good. Just I think it records in flash maybe..and it's meant to make tutorials, but you can work with it...it should be able to take a vid of desktop.

there are a lot of people still playing this. im selling mine. diablo 2 and lod for $20.

they are essentially the same thing. they just give you different software with them. I wish they'd just sell the plain operating system and standard software (browser....etc...even though their browser sucks) and then we'd just get some opensource/GPL stuff onto our PC. ofcourse...we could just all get linux. hehe. linux is going to dominate the world one day.

you guys are getting a difference here. virii and holes are different. virii are made by others to damage your system. holes are not from malicious intent. when photoshop edits itself into the registry and whatnot, it probably alters some settings that just make your system more VULNERABLE...not necessarily damaging the OS itself.

broadband internet is also shared among people. not just one line per house.

im not sure if i've posted through here before,but recently i've use DC++. and since it's all private hubs and whatnot, i've found almost everything i couldn't find before on there. a bajillion people sharing files privately. i can find recordings of james galway and whatnot. it's awesome. i also use ares for general modern music, like..iono greenday and whatnot. downloads very fast too.didnt winmx get shutdown too?

im not scared about losing the mental part of me. what happens if particles are lost. liek jsut a FEW? Everytime you use teleportation...you'd end up like 1/2 inch shorter. or a finger mising. or something. jeez i dont trust that stuff. I'll leave it for a future generation, but teleportation is not for me.

wow damn. lol i didn't know that. what i assumed though, there is a right to not allow someone to view your stuff on a website. so therefore, you can prevent groups of people from going to sites as long as it doesnt deal with things such as racism and whatnot, there are guidelines.....isnt something like this stated in the Constitution? That people have a right to have "secrets" or something, or have privacy?! XD Just because it's on the net doesn't mean it's public. So there is a possibility of a statement that would make it unlawful for people that are told not to view the site view the site. just like pornographic sites, they would ask about 18 years or older thing, you know? Same concept...i think.

yeah. but if you pay yearly plan avalon (whcih is recommended..it's cheaper) then you can pay off. of course in the initial months you will have to sacrifice. but if you really want to.....use chitika eminimalls that pay off at 50.

some people make 6 digits off websites. of course you can do this. especially if you got a nice host....starting packages start at like 2.99 for good hosts.....you can pretty easily make 2.99 off ads as long as you are following the terms but you use strategy. i dont make much...i make around 10 bucks a month with free hosting and i havent had the ned for domain or anything. or else use hosting like Xisto...and buy a domain....and use the free hosting (that has plenty of bandwidth and you can use an offsite filehost for downloads if you are really concerned) and make $$$$. what im saying is...it's very easily possible. (by the way, a site that lets you hotlink file downloads of up to 10 gigs is http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ , but they just delete your file every couple months or so...so once in a while give it a new link.)

yeah just lightening your startup and decrease a great ammount of holes. and you can always have a faster startup...just makes using the computer more fun. most of the applications that "create" security holes are the ones with just bad programming as those researchers had found. a big cause of this is that when programmers at a company begin programming, they follow bad syntax or don't want to fix it. eventually as they build onto the code they had already done...it's a big jumble of pieces of programming that causes ties in machines and just creates problems. If companies spent the time (and money) in which most cases they won't, to re code their programs more organized....they'd probably have less problems.just a lesson for all of you programmers out there......be neat from the start and follow correct syntax.

according to secret...seamonkey is a load of crap. hehe. you can probably get plugins for IRC and email into firefox.

everyone has to start somewhere to not be a newbie anymore. anyways overclocking is meant as a way to maximize the potential of your computer. many people that have slow processors and overclock it even a little bit can see the difference.

it's probably just an altered version of linux to directly fit their needs. most people who are technically make their own distribution of linux for their needs.

i was playing CS 1.6 in a clan match and the leader wasnt around...so i was the dude in charge. i forgot to quit out of IM's so that i wouldn't be disturbed. It was a tie game or something really close, and it was crucial to whether we won or not so that we could get into cal sorta "finals". anyways then i get a message on AIM. and im just thinking "Alright what the hell does this guy want that could be so important?!" and it's the clan leader dude and we got invited for cal-im/cal-i. so after that it was like ecstasy. I just thought "Well now who cares about that match, we're moving up!"

the fun is creating your own way to do it. I would personally put the computer as a mini-mobo in the glove compartment and wire it up to where a gps would go. of course it's a small lcd. but i dont know if even a small lcd would fit. definately a project worth thinking about and it can be very useful.

photoshop...or else the gimp. both are heavy though and slow the computer down. but they are pretty much the best and most professional out there. but when all else fails...use MS paint (unless you're on linux.)

i never buy new line cards. way over priced. (then again, i don't game anymore). i still run on a 9800 pro which plays most games at max, except for some that deal with more stuff that i dont know about. but all in all, i would say x850 is the best one for the money ($150!!!)personally, i think ati's latest series just kicks butt. if you're willing to spend the money, the x1900 is worth it.
