  1. Well after trying some stuff out I finally got it. So give me a " I LOVE YOU SM" .main {width: 758px;background:#000066;padding: 0px;border-bottom:none;} I predicted it was margins or padding
  2. Not that I am aware of, in order for a image to repeat you need a new line of text to pull it off. so you best option would be to create a footer image that as an end image to it and then set it up as a div. Here would be a loose example <Div>Top</div><div>repeat</div><div>Footer End image</div> Now to have your footer look correctly if you look at the bottom of your new site, copy at 1050x50 section of that bottom the flip it so both bottoms connect to each other. So they will look the same. Hopefully I explain that good enough for you get were I am going with this, if not, pm the background image and I make the cut and then set it up for you.

  6. WORK IT Yratorm WORK IT :PAlthough I am surprise you didn't mention crunches in there , they could be an alternate to situp's just double the normal repitition. You can also do army presses. Instead of showing my sexy self doing them, all your really doing is standing up and then pushing your straight in the air and then bring them down. In order to feel any burn you would normally want to do at least 100 a set.Another good exercise is the bicycle kick, in which you lay on your back and then with your feet in the air move them like a bicycle. Also another good for a good challenge, put you feet on a chair and then do push up's or sit up's, with this higher elevation is makes a bit more changing since you have to go higher and lower then you normally do.That is some army fitness stuff I remembered.
  7. you want to do something like this <table border="1" width="200"> <tbody><tr> <td><img src="frames_files/top.gif" alt="dfgfd" height="18" width="174"></td> </tr> <tr> <td style="width: 180px; height: 210; background: url('frames_files/sides.gif') repeat-y; padding-left:9px;"> 12345678901234567890<br> 12345678901234567890<br> 12345678901234567890<br> 12345678901234567890<br> 12345678901234567890<br> 12345678901234567890<br> 12345678901234567890<br> 12345678901234567890<br> 12345678901234567890<br> 12345678901234567890<br> 12345678901234567890<br> <!--will repeat the background from this point forward--> </td> </tr> <tr> <td><img src="frames_files/bottom.gif" alt="gfhg" height="20" width="178"></td> </tr></tbody></table> with the y-axis set on repeat each new line after the original background will repeat it like so with the example I have in here. You can div this as will doing it the same way thus the table look will disappear.
  8. OMFG HAHAHAHAHA that is funny and nasty at the same time well then I guess they all failed then AHAHAHAHA.
  9. Oh I think I know what your talking, ie. fluid website when you shrink your browser your website adjust to it? Hmm I don't know anything off the top of my head about making liquid text. Just made a search on google came up with one result close enough and the one post said no unless you javascript of some sorts.
  10. I would check this link at wcschools http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ then try out the different properties and see what you can get. Also instead of px try em you usually get better results then px.
  11. Just when I had it fix well most of your problems after your last update this does clean up some of your issues hopefully it works.CSS body{background-color:#000000;}.bannerhead {background-image: url('bannertest2.jpg');width:1050px;height: 271px;}.menu {position:relative; top: 4px; background-image: url('menutest.jpg');width: 1275px;height: 40px;}.backgroundimage { position:relative; top: 0px;min-width:1050px;background-image: url('bgdone2.gif');background-position: top center;background-repeat: repeat-y;background-repeat: no-repeatx;} .textholder { position:relative; top: 9px;background-image:url('bgdone2.gif');max-width:1050px;font-size:1.8em;}.container {position:relative; top: 0px; margin-top: 0px; margin-left: 50px; width:930px; color: #000000; }.counterTitle {font-family: arial, times; font-size: 16pt; color: #000000; text-align: center; font-weight: bold}.counterTitle2 {font-family: arial, times; font-size: 12pt; text-align: center; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none}.counters { background-color: #ffffff; text-align: center; font-family: arial, times; font-size: 10pt; }.borderlicious { position:relative; top: 15px; left: 15px;border-style: solid; border-collapse: collapse} HTML <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ xmlns="http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" /><title>Untitled Document</title><link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="index_files/style.css" /></head><body><center><script type="text/javascript" src="index_files/minmax.js"></script><div class="bannerhead"></div><div class="menu"></div><div class="textholder"><div class="container"><table class="borderlicious" align="right" border="2" bordercolor="black" width="300"><tbody><script src="index_files/casualties.js"></script><tr><td colspan="2" class="counterTitle" bgcolor="#bbbbbb">Casualties in Iraq</td></tr><tr><td class="counterTitle2"><a class="new" href="https://www.iraqbodycount.org/ Civilians (min-max):</a></td><td align="center"><img src="index_files/ibc_b.gif" /></td></tr><tr><td class="counterTitle2"><a class="new" href="http://www.antiwar.com/casualties/. It isbecoming increasingly apparent that we are trapped in a quagmire, andthat ourcurrent path will not help to extradite us. What is needed now ishonest discussion about the war, its realities, and how we canstabilize the regionenough to bring our troops back alive and safe to their families andfriends. This website is meant as an incubator to foster thosetypes of discussions;a place were people can come and discuss the realities of the war weare entrenched in, regardless of their political orientation.</p><p>One of the largest obstacles we face in these discussions ispeople's detachment from the actual events that are occurring. The media, whither it beliberal or conservative, only paints a very limited picture of what isactually going on. This is quite unfortunate as the less peopleknow, the lessthey feel obligated to engage the issue. In an attempt towardsrectifying this informational blackout we are hosting a <a href="http://www.facesofwar.org/rg-erdr.php?_rpo=t of images</a>from the war. A majority of these pictures were taken by thetroops themselves. These are the atrocities they experience everyday. <i>This</i> is what war trulylooks like.</p><p>War photographs have had a long and powerful history of influencingthe struggles they depict. Few can forget the images that cameout of <a href="http://www.rotten.com/library/history/war-crimes/my-lai-massacre/ Lai</a>or the use of <a href="http://www.krysstal.com/images/democracy_vietnam_napalm.jpg; in the Vietnam war. Likewise, <a href="http://www.shutterbug.com/content/alexander-gardnerbrhistory-made-history-recorded Gardner</a> captured imageswhich had dramatic impact on people's understanding of the civil war. Now it is time for our generation to see <a href="http://www.facesofwar.org/rg-erdr.php?_rpo=t images</a>, a job made much more difficult with the media's new practice of embedded reporting. Please help to spread the word.</p><p> </p><div style="text-align: right;"><p>Sincerely,<br /><i>Paolo Unger Dvorchik</i></p></div><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p></div></span></center></body></html> and it looks so code :PHopefully you don't make to many changes when you see this. It cleans out some of the problems you had on your old design plus hte second update you did before you reedited the site which I see you where doing.
  12. Oh I can vouch easily for that you cannot see planets with the naked eye except for the star like appearance. You need at least high powered binoculars to high powered telescopes to see any planet in our know universe. This is from 5 years of astronomy experience. So yeah I take those methods wit ha grain of salt, also why do that when you got lasers to correct your eyesite for you. Yeah expensive but better odd's to see better.
  13. Well of course you can't forget Microsoft little hand in this, remember they own a good size chunk of Apple stock. Of course Apple is trying to be like Microsoft and bend all the rules about copyrights and all that good stuff. But I say if Cisco was smart they sell the name, it's not like they are using it or anything.
  14. your seeing them too? that two other people, nightfox thinks it's a target ad in the states. I have run several scans and I can't remove it so it has to be internal, since it only shows up on the index page.
  15. Step 4 Verticle Nav Menu The next step is to add in a basic rollover menu so I bring you to the following online tool: Menu Generator Now with this online tool you can not only create vertical but also horizontal rollover menus. Since we will be doing a Verticle menu we will keep it on that option. Now the next part is deciding if we want it fixed, relative, or absolute. If we have learned anything it is insane trying to make a absolute or fixed postion work perfectly for all three broswers (IE, FF, Opera). So to keep oue minds sane we will use relative, this is due to the fact that with relative position it will look fine in any browser with slight movements that are barely noticable unless you really look. Next we want to set up our Horizontal alignment of where the menu will be upon adding it in. So we have left right and rtl . Since we want our menu on the left keep it as so, Next we set our vertical alignment "Top" "Botton" instead of trying to explain this and it's usefulness heres a quote. Wasn't that fun kids?? Anyways to keep our lives simple we will select top alignment (most people do). Next is out XYZ postions, basicalyy with these positions this will determin where the menu will be with in the structure at 0,0 coordinates (XY). With the z this is used to stack the menu just in case you use drop down menu's. So instead othe dro down menus showing in the back of the content it will show it up top of it. So our XY coordinates will be 0,0 just because you may want to edit those numbers to fit within your struction properly. Since we are not using drop down menu's set your z index to 0. Next we set the width I save you trouble and set it at 10.6 em. NOTE=Of course if you making your own design you may want to save this step till after you do everything else. Reason being is that you will have to adjust the setting multiple times until it fits just how you like it. Ok so far we have set the the Following: -Vertical Menu -relative postion -left -top -XYZ coordinates -width (optional last step) Ok next is horizontal stripe (your guess is good as mine) Just read the info about it and see what you think Info on Horiztonal strip I set it to none just for simplicity. the next part is how we want our boxes to look like in terms of margin and padding. So our first option is margins, this will determine what kind of gap will be in between each link so we will select 0. Next is hte size of the border since we want to keep it nice keep it at one pixel since it will provide enough division for each link. Next is the left and right padding this is used to show how much of a gap the text will have on the left side of the box, so to keep it nice keep it at nine. Same thing with top and bottom it determines the gap between the text and top of the book and so keep it at five. Ok next part is how do want the current text to look like, we could underline, bold it or something crazy like that, Make it big text or small, align left right or center and some other good stuff. Tutorial wise we will use the default settings so as to keep things moving along. Not the next settings are for unvisited link meaning they havn't not been click before this includes the following. -border colors -border styles -background color -Font color -font style -additional CSS Of course the question we ask ourselves is how should it look like, Best answer use the colors of the site to work with, as you can tell from the site we are using a light blue background so we whant are background a blue so put in the following. Next we want to up a border so we will go with a light blue so put in the following 4 times #BFBFBF (for each side of the block. We keep hte borders solod, however you can used dash or non at all and so we will keep it on solid. Next is font color so we want our text to be seen so we will use the color of our website #34729C. This time it will be a good idea to click on preview just to see what it looks like so far. Now we set up our rollover styles, so if you all assume correctly will we set up the opposit colors so we will use a light background and dark text and border so put in the following: #142E3F #142E3F #142E3F #142E3F solid #34729C #34729C normal blank Now for current links simple and eas used the same settings. Ok so we now set up how our menu should look like, Next we will generate the code, NOTE=I didn't bother with the text stuff but you can if you want to. OK so click on the first generate button and you should get he following code or something like it: /* LUL1.0 :: Generated CSS [Created: Sat Jan 13 2007 02:55:15 GMT-0500 (Eastern Standard Time)] :: http://www.listulike.com/ */.lul,.lul li,.lul ul{margin:0;padding:0;list-style-type:none;}.lul{position:fixed;left:0;top:0;z-index:19000;width:10.6em;cursor:default !important;border:none;text-align:left;}* html .lul{position:absolute;}ul[id="lul"]{position:absolute;}ul/**/[id="lul"]{position:fixed;}.lul{margin-left:0px;margin-top:0px;}.lul li{display:block;width:10.6em;position:static;}@media Screen,Projection{.lul/**/[class="lul"] li{position:relative;}}.lul li a{position:relative;display:block;}.lul a{margin-top:-1px;}.lul a,.lul a:link{background-image:none;background-color:#142E3F;cursor:pointer !important;z-index:0;text-align:left;border-style:solid;border-color:#BFBFBF #BFBFBF #BFBFBF #BFBFBF;padding-left:9px;padding-right:9px;padding-top:5px !important;padding-bottom:5px !important;text-decoration:none;color:#34729C;border-width:1px;font-style:normal;font-family:tahoma,sans-serif;font-weight:bold !important;}.lul a{font-size:75%;}.lul li a,.lul li a:link,.lul li a:visited{letter-spacing:1px !important;}.lul li a:visited{background-image:none;background-color:#34729C;border-width:1px;color:#142E3F;font-style:normal;border-style:solid;border-color:#142E3F #142E3F #142E3F #142E3F;}.lul li a:hover,.lul li a:focus,.lul li a.nohref:hover,.lul li a.nohref:focus{font-style:normal;background-image:none;background-color:#34729C;text-decoration:none;color:#142E3F;border-color:#142E3F #142E3F #142E3F #142E3F;border-style:solid;border-width:1px;}* html .lul li a:active{font-style:normal;background-image:none;background-color:#34729C;text-decoration:none;color:#142E3F;border-color:#142E3F #142E3F #142E3F #142E3F;border-style:solid;border-width:1px;}@media screen, projection{* html .lul li{display:inline;}}@media screen, projection{* html .lul li{display/**/:block;float/**/:left;}}This code will set up how the menu will look. NOTE=I basically skipped the fonts and color generate but can use if you did the text set up above it.. Now open up your CSS file and then copy and paste this code under your left column CSS like so: #leftcol {width:170px;float:left;position:relative;left:0;background-color:#33729d;border:solid 1px;}/* NEW STUFF / *//* Left Menu / */.lul,.lul li,.lul ul{margin:0;padding:0;list-style-type:none;}.lul{position:relative;left:0;top:0;z-index:0;width:10.6em;cursor:default !important;border:none;text-align:left;}.lul{position:static;padding-left:1px;padding-top:1px;}.lul li{display:block;width:10.6em;position:static;}@media Screen,Projection{.lul/**/[class="lul"] li{position:relative;}}.lul li a{position:relative;display:block;}.lul a{margin-top:-1px;}.lul a,.lul a:link{background-image:none;background-color:#142E3F;cursor:pointer !important;z-index:1000;text-align:left;border-style:solid;border-color:#BFBFBF #BFBFBF #BFBFBF #BFBFBF;padding-left:9px;padding-right:9px;padding-top:5px !important;padding-bottom:5px !important;text-decoration:none;color:#34729C;border-width:1px;font-style:normal;font-family:tahoma,sans-serif;font-weight:bold !important;}.lul a{font-size:75%;}.lul li a,.lul li a:link,.lul li a:visited{letter-spacing:1px !important;}.lul li a:visited{background-image:none;background-color:#ffc;border-width:1px;color:#142E3F;font-style:normal;border-style:solid;border-color:#ead4a4 #edbb85 #edbb85 #ead4a4;}.lul li a:hover,.lul li a:focus,.lul li a.nohref:hover,.lul li a.nohref:focus{font-style:normal;background-image:none;background-color:#34729C;text-decoration:none;color:#142E3F;border-color:#BFBFBF #BFBFBF #BFBFBF #BFBFBF;border-style:solid;border-width:1px;}* html .lul li a:active{font-style:normal;background-image:none;background-color:#34729C;text-decoration:none;color:#142E3F;border-color:#BFBFBF #BFBFBF #BFBFBF #BFBFBF;border-style:solid;border-width:1px;}@media screen, projection{* html .lul li{display:inline;}}@media screen, projection{* html .lul li{display/**/:block;float/**/:left;}}/* NEW STUFF END / */Then go ahead and save, next open up your html file then locate the left column and delete the lipsum text and then put in the the following HTML <div id="leftcol" ><div id="navdemo"> <ul class="lul"> <li><a href="/" title="List-u-Like home page" class="warn">Home</a> </li> <li><a href="/generator/" title="List-u-Like CSS Generator" class="upper warn">Generator</a> </li> <li><a href="/help/" title="How to use the program" class="warn">Help</a> </li> <li><a href="/about/" title="About List-u-Like" class="warn">About</a> </li> <li><a href="/discuss/" title="Discuss List-u-Like" class="warn">Discuss</a> </li> <li><a href="/contact/" title="Contact the author" class="warn">Contact</a> </li> </ul> </div>Now go a head and save. So there you go you now have a verticle rollover nav menu. Now go back to your CSS and decide if you want to keep the border to your left column or not. I keep it up because you may need to balance out headers and other good stuff. Thats about it for menu now you can take the next step and go thte extreme for you verticle nave in which I recommend the following website. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/'>http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/[/url] http://forums.xisto.com/ These are some of the best design nav menus on the net simple to under stand and put it, so check them out and see what you like. But like I mention in previous tutorials we are just settting up the basic design the good stuff will come later. Next Tutorial Content Boxes so stay tune for that.
  16. Step: 3 Usually The footer is a simple design of lett people know who design it, when the design was made and of course links to the HTML and CSS validation thats about it really. Of course if you plan to have more links to different website services then I recommend this drop down menu that opens up instead of down. Drop Down Menu Step 4 Since that was a simple step how about we design our content box make it look stylish in the sense that you can make rounded corners, use a background image or setting up stylish news headers. NOTE: Their are litterally millions of designs on how ot set up content box and millions more with using news software. I recommend that you check out many different websites and see what they look like. Or if your going to Design you site in pure images then check out tutorials for content boxes and see what you can do with those. So for our first Eye Candy we will set up a gradient background, make sure not to over do it or you will turn the text invisable and hard to see. So go ahead and save and now go to this site for a little corner code. Content Corner Although you don't have to do it (Most likly I will change it later for something better), this will give our content that a little style. Ok as you can see from the Site we got some CSS and some HTML to paste to make things easy I tell you where to paste it so to keep some organization. So look for your #MainCOl in your CSS file and then under that paste the following: /* Content Header\*/.content1-pagetitle {overflow: hidden; width: 400px; margin: 0px 0px 5px 0px; padding: 0px 0px 2px 0px; border-bottom: solid 1px rgb(88,144,168); color: rgb(88,144,168); font-weight: bold; font-size: 120%;}/* Content Corner\*/.curlycontainer{background: url("grad.jpg"); background-repeat: no-repeat;border: 1px solid #b8b8b8;margin-bottom: 1em;width: 100%;}.curlycontainer .innerdiv{background: transparent url(brcorner1.gif) bottom right no-repeat;position: relative;left: 2px;top: 2px;padding: 1px 4px 15px 5px;} Then go a head and save your CSS File and now for your HTML file, Open it up and in your HTML code look for <div id="maincol" > then paste the following underneath it: <div class="content1-pagetitle">Welcome</div> <div class="curlycontainer"><div class="innerdiv"> Then We need to close it up and so after your Lorem ipsum paragraph add in two </div> and you are set. Then copy the content info like so: <div class="content1-pagetitle">Welcome</div> <div class="curlycontainer"><div class="innerdiv">Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit, sed diam nonummy nibh euismod tincidunt ut laoreet dolore magna aliquam erat volutpat. With this we get to see what changes, if any will happen and also see how far we want our content to go. Of course this is a simple content box nothing more, Of course I be showing different styles later on to show you how dynamic a content area can get. Next Step Vertical Nav Menu.
  17. Step 4 Vertical Nav Menu The next step is to add in a basic rollover menu so I bring you to the following online tool: Menu Generator Now with this online tool you can not only create vertical but also horizontal rollover menus. Since we will be doing a Verticle menu we will keep it on that option. Now the next part is deciding if we want it fixed, relative, or absolute. Next we want to set up our Horizontal alignment of where the menu will be upon adding it in. So we have left right and rtl . Since we want our menu on the left keep it as so, Next we set our vertical alignment "Top" "Bottom" instead of trying to explain this and it's usefulness heres a quote. Wasn't that fun kids?? Anyways to keep our lives simple we will select top alignment (most people do). Next is out XYZ positions, basically with these positions this will determine where the menu will be with in the structure at 0,0 coordinates (XY). With the z this is used to stack the menu just in case you use drop down menu's. So instead of the drop down menus showing in the back of the content it will show it up top of it. So our XY coordinates will be 0,0 just because you may want to edit those numbers to fit within your structure properly. Ok so far we have set the the Following: -Vertical Menu -relative postion -left -top -XYZ coordinates -width (optional last step) Ok next is horizontal stripe (your guess is good as mine) Just read the info about it and see what you think Info on Horizontal strip I set it to none just for simplicity. the next part is how we want our boxes to look like in terms of margin and padding. -border colors -border styles -background color -Font color -font style -additional CSS Of course the question we ask ourselves is how should it look like, Best answer use the colors of the site to work with, as you can tell from the site we are using a light blue background so we want are background a blue so put in the following. Next we want to up a border so we will go with a light blue so put in the following 4 times #BFBFBF (for each side of the block. We keep the borders solid, however you can used dash or non at all and so we will keep it on solid. Next is font color so we want our text to be seen so we will use the color of our website #34729C. This time it will be a good idea to click on preview just to see what it looks like so far. Now we set up our rollover styles, so if you all assume correctly will we set up the opposite colors so we will use a light background and dark text and border so put in the following: #142E3F #142E3F #142E3F #142E3F solid #34729C #34729C normal blank Now for current links simple and eas used the same settings. Ok so we now set up how our menu should look like, Next we will generate the code, NOTE=I didn't bother with the text stuff but you can if you want to. OK so click on the first generate button and you should get he following code or something like it: /* LUL1.0 :: Generated CSS [Created: Sat Jan 13 2007 02:55:15 GMT-0500 (Eastern Standard Time)] :: listulike.com/ */.lul,.lul li,.lul ul{margin:0;padding:0;list-style-type:none;}.lul{position:fixed;left:0;top:0;z-index:19000;width:10.6em;cursor:default !important;border:none;text-align:left;}* html .lul{position:absolute;}ul[id="lul"]{position:absolute;}ul/**/[id="lul"]{position:fixed;}.lul{margin-left:0px;margin-top:0px;}.lul li{display:block;width:10.6em;position:static;}@media Screen,Projection{.lul/**/[class="lul"] li{position:relative;}}.lul li a{position:relative;display:block;}.lul a{margin-top:-1px;}.lul a,.lul a:link{background-image:none;background-color:#142E3F;cursor:pointer !important;z-index:0;text-align:left;border-style:solid;border-color:#BFBFBF #BFBFBF #BFBFBF #BFBFBF;padding-left:9px;padding-right:9px;padding-top:5px !important;padding-bottom:5px !important;text-decoration:none;color:#34729C;border-width:1px;font-style:normal;font-family:tahoma,sans-serif;font-weight:bold !important;}.lul a{font-size:75%;}.lul li a,.lul li a:link,.lul li a:visited{letter-spacing:1px !important;}.lul li a:visited{background-image:none;background-color:#34729C;border-width:1px;color:#142E3F;font-style:normal;border-style:solid;border-color:#142E3F #142E3F #142E3F #142E3F;}.lul li a:hover,.lul li a:focus,.lul li a.nohref:hover,.lul li a.nohref:focus{font-style:normal;background-image:none;background-color:#34729C;text-decoration:none;color:#142E3F;border-color:#142E3F #142E3F #142E3F #142E3F;border-style:solid;border-width:1px;}* html .lul li a:active{font-style:normal;background-image:none;background-color:#34729C;text-decoration:none;color:#142E3F;border-color:#142E3F #142E3F #142E3F #142E3F;border-style:solid;border-width:1px;}@media screen, projection{* html .lul li{display:inline;}}@media screen, projection{* html .lul li{display/**/:block;float/**/:left;}}This code will set up how the menu will look. NOTE=I basically skipped the fonts and color generate but can use if you did the text set up above it.. Now open up your CSS file and then copy and paste this code under your left column CSS like so: #leftcol {width:170px;float:left;position:relative;left:0;background-color:#33729d;border:solid 1px;}/* NEW STUFF / *//* Left Menu / */.lul,.lul li,.lul ul{margin:0;padding:0;list-style-type:none;}.lul{position:relative;left:0;top:0;z-index:0;width:10.6em;cursor:default !important;border:none;text-align:left;}.lul{position:static;padding-left:1px;padding-top:1px;}.lul li{display:block;width:10.6em;position:static;}@media Screen,Projection{.lul/**/[class="lul"] li{position:relative;}}.lul li a{position:relative;display:block;}.lul a{margin-top:-1px;}.lul a,.lul a:link{background-image:none;background-color:#142E3F;cursor:pointer !important;z-index:1000;text-align:left;border-style:solid;border-color:#BFBFBF #BFBFBF #BFBFBF #BFBFBF;padding-left:9px;padding-right:9px;padding-top:5px !important;padding-bottom:5px !important;text-decoration:none;color:#34729C;border-width:1px;font-style:normal;font-family:tahoma,sans-serif;font-weight:bold !important;}.lul a{font-size:75%;}.lul li a,.lul li a:link,.lul li a:visited{letter-spacing:1px !important;}.lul li a:visited{background-image:none;background-color:#ffc;border-width:1px;color:#142E3F;font-style:normal;border-style:solid;border-color:#ead4a4 #edbb85 #edbb85 #ead4a4;}.lul li a:hover,.lul li a:focus,.lul li a.nohref:hover,.lul li a.nohref:focus{font-style:normal;background-image:none;background-color:#34729C;text-decoration:none;color:#142E3F;border-color:#BFBFBF #BFBFBF #BFBFBF #BFBFBF;border-style:solid;border-width:1px;}* html .lul li a:active{font-style:normal;background-image:none;background-color:#34729C;text-decoration:none;color:#142E3F;border-color:#BFBFBF #BFBFBF #BFBFBF #BFBFBF;border-style:solid;border-width:1px;}@media screen, projection{* html .lul li{display:inline;}}@media screen, projection{* html .lul li{display/**/:block;float/**/:left;}}/* NEW STUFF END / */Then go ahead and save, next open up your html file then locate the left column and delete the lipsum text and then put in the the following HTML <div id="leftcol" ><div id="navdemo"> <ul class="lul"> <li><a href="/" title="List-u-Like home page" class="warn">Home</a> </li> <li><a href="/generator/" title="List-u-Like CSS Generator" class="upper warn">Generator</a> </li> <li><a href="/help/" title="How to use the program" class="warn">Help</a> </li> <li><a href="/about/" title="About List-u-Like" class="warn">About</a> </li> <li><a href="/discuss/" title="Discuss List-u-Like" class="warn">Discuss</a> </li> <li><a href="/contact/" title="Contact the author" class="warn">Contact</a> </li> </ul> </div>Now go a head and save. So there you go you now have a vertical rollover nav menu. Now go back to your CSS and decide if you want to keep the border to your left column or not. I keep it up because you may need to balance out headers and other good stuff. Thats about it for menu now you can take the next step and go the extreme for you vertical nave in which I recommend the following website. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/'>http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/[/url]http://forums.xisto.com/ These are some of the best design nav menus on the net simple to under stand and put it, so check them out and see what you like. But like I mention in previous tutorials we are just setting up the basic design the good stuff will come later. Next Tutorial Content Boxes so stay tune for that.
  18. Eodem modo typi, qui nunc nobis videntur parum clari, fiant sollemnes in futurum.Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit, sed diam nonummy nibh euismod tincidunt ut laoreet dolore magna aliquam erat volutpat. Investigationes demonstraverunt lectores legere me lius quod ii legunt saepius.</div></div> After that paste it under the the two </div>'s. With this we get to see what changes, if any will happen and also see how far we want our content to go. Of course this is a simple content box nothing more, Of course I be showing different styles later on to show you how dynamic a content area can get. Next Step Vertical Nav Menu.
  19. When post stuff from other sites or if you want to reply to a previous post in which you click on the quote button then click on add reply and the quote is generated for you to respond to.
  20. I will go on the offense and say I would disagree on this, now the challenge I face is how to explain it .It is true people are born to be smart or be veggie people but it's a genetics thing though. It not like they decided to become one, although some people do decided they want to leave life of the meat. With India they leave a simple life in the sense they don't worry about have the best cat, house or all that crazy stuff. With India I think they are some of the brightest people in the world, when I had to do my Power Point presentation about computers, I learn that most of the math that we used today has come from India and heck you could say they set up the foundations of today's computer programming as well with all the math techniques they have discover/invented in the last 2000 years. One example would be the Jaina mathematicians who invented the logarithms which is a primary language in computers. This happen in the year 200 and who would have thought they are the one's who made computer possible in terms of programming. So you could say my argument it's not their eating style more like lifestyle and environment. They had lots of free time to think about stuff of science and math that we used today. But how do you explain people like Stephan Hawking, I believe his meals consist of liquids and not solids(some one verify that). Or people who are handicapped and yet some weird and and yet awesome way are just as smart or even smarter then "normal" people. But like haslip mention results from the 70's can't verify if it is true basically they would have to start from scratch, but instead of pick normal people they should hit hte whole spectrum with those who have disabilities and those who don't and those who are very smart or those who are average. From my arguments if plausible debunk the idea that eating certain foods will make you smarter. Although I won't entirely disagree it could be possible but you need like scientific proof to change my mind about it. Or think more on the idea.
  21. A light alteration to haslip post ig I might, when you do the add on domain, vo to set up redirect and then type it out like you want it should hold the mydomain.mydomain.trap17.com look try that and see what happens.
  22. it's shouldn't be unlimited it should be 9 park domain and 9 add on domains thats how many you can add delivi.
  23. What you do with your credits that's your own business but you do not advertise it nor can you sell them. Also since most likely you didn't read the readme only hosted members can transfer credits.
  24. I know for me I play games to escape from reality for a few hours just to clear my head and enjoy my fantasy of being that hero with a large sword or street racer. Stuff I normally wouldn't do in the real world. The fun factor is a by product of me playing games.
  25. I would say it is not a possibility to for the following reasons. 1. It is not possible to travel 186,000 mi/sec or 669,600 an hour (base on some calculations. Because nothing is faster then later. If you could pull that kind of speed light will still be just as fast, considering a time between launching a craft like that. 2. I do believe Black Hole prevent reflection of light so you won't even know if that object is there or not. 3. No source of energy is powerful enough to launch that, correctly a stable source of energy powerful enough to launch a craft. 4. The craft would be have to be small enough that you have no room whatsoever, to lower any drag to the craft to obtain optimal speed. Which would drive a sane person mad. On top of that the craft would have to handle that kind of pressure and force put on it as well. 6. Then a Final question would how will our bodies handle that kind of speed. Reminds me of a episode of Star Trek Voyager, in which Tom Paris hit warp ten and then started mutating into a new life form. Now that's all speculation that would happen. Of course that still raises the possibility that are bodies could change form that or just blow up form the pressure. Now if that's all figure which I doubt in the next 1000 years then maybe space travel will be possible. Time travel would be on another plane of theory and thought on how it should be done. 300 post: I am in the club now
