  1. Forcing people to post it is not the best way to produce a good and interesting debate. In my opinion and i am sure some of the people in Trap will agree Trap forums are mostly empty of contents. It is true that i got valuable feedback more than once for people hosted here but most of the time i feel like losing my time navigating through all these forums. I try to keep posting only to interesting stuff and and posting to interesting threads to keep my hosting. So far, so simple.
  2. Please, do not add music or noises to Web pages!!!. You will damage people who navigates at work place. :-)
  3. You should optimize your site for IE users. Most of the people in Internet use IE so i will do optimize my code for IE. I prefer Firefox too but reality is reality.
  4. It is too much: 25000 songs x 1,5 minute each song = 2250000 seconds = 26.04 days. I will just buy another hard disk and one of these boxes that allow you to connect hard disk with a usb cable.
  5. Thanks a lot thablkpanda,It was exactly the problem you were telling me. I modify my CSS file, setting the background of my links in the multi-tab menu to none and now it looks good in IE, Firefox and Opera. Here it is the code: #nav-top li a { background: none;} Thanks for the help guys!
  6. In my opinion the invitation process is a marketting campagne. It converts gmail in something desirable since you need an invitation (which is really easy to obtain) to enter it. So, a lot of people is changing to gmail and i bet that in not so long time Google with announce a instant messenger client.
  7. Here are my sites: GRAZASMUS A site about the live in Graz with interesting info for Erasmus. MoonSun Web My Web Design siteLa Ponderosa A personal site

  9. Hi, I built a multi-tab menu. Each tab is a gif file with a transparency background. Each tab is over a background image. In Firefox, and Opera it works properly but in IE the tab's background it is not transparent and shows a blue background instead. Should i have to build every image with no-tranparency backgrounds or is there any method to go around this problem.? I put a link to the Web-page so you can see the problem i am speaking about. Link

    Icq Linux Clients

In the topic's subject is written "ICQ Linux Clients" and Trillian is absolutely not an ICQ Linux Client. Please answer only if your feeback is releated with the topic content!!
  11. For ICQ, I use Gaim. Which is cross-platform and supports also MSN, Yahoo...
  12. I prefer Google the most even if i do not get my Web page indexed by it.

  14. i was satisfied with my old computer (i am not a gamer) but i need to buy a new graphic card because i am entering a game-development project and i need the game to run in my computer at home. Can anyone else answer me about the questions i made before? Thanks a lot for your answers.

  16. I need to buy a graphic card because mine is quite old. I am new in the graphic cards world and i want to ask you some questions:1) My computer is the next: Proccessor: AMD K7 Athlon XP 1600+, Palomino RAM: 2*256MB SDRAM, PC133 Mainboard: Elitegroup K7S5A 3.1 DMA100, FSB266, DDR+DIMMRight now my graphic card is : ST Labs SIS315, 32MBMy question is, Can i buy any graphic card because my computer will support it? or should i look for documentation of my mainboard to see if it is supported?2) I use my computer most of the time under linux so i will like to buy a graphic card which works properly in Linux. Which are the best graphic cards for Linux? 3) I bougth a 19" a month ago and i have a wird problem (that i think is caused because my graphic card does not support some frequences). The horizontal and vertical refresh frequenzes of the monitor are 31-80Hz Horiz and 56-75Hz Vert. Every time i boot my computer in linux, during the operating system booting process, the screens shows "Mode not supported H35.4Hz V86.6Hz" but once it loads the login manager it works ok. It works Ok because I edited the/etc/X11/XF86Config-4 file entering there my refresh rates. However it is a big problem because for example i can not install another O.S. with this monitor because it will not show me the installation manager. Thanks in advanced for your feedback, i really need help to buy this graphic card.
  17. Hi, I am looking for a good ICQ Linux Client. Rigth now i am using Gaim which includes hotmail, ICQ and Yahoo messenger in just a program but i am not really satisfied with it. Most of my contacts area under ICQ so i do not mind if your recommendations support just ICQ. Thanks for your help.
  18. Hi, I do not know if you know about the CSS ZEN GARDEN project. This project really ilustrates what can be made with CSS.
  19. - Box widht should be bigger. Nobody likes to scroll three pages to read your blog. - Font size should be bigger. Your site does not have almost any additional graphics (i appreciate that). You focused on the content. So, the content should be easier to read. - If you continue with a narrow page. Write at least some links to the top of the page. Something like an "up" link. - I will put the menu in boxes. Not just in plain links. Boxes with a different background depending on the hover atributte will be grate. Not so difficult with CSS. I hope i help you.
