I agree with all the statements. I do not know if they are really Bill Gates' ones but i will not be suprised. I am not fan of Microsoft at all neither B.Gates but i really think that he is extremely ambitous, intelligent and realistic. I really love his quoute:"Sucess is a lousy teacher, it seduces smart people into think that they can lose".

Hi,I appreaciate your last posts but i posted some days ago in the same thread telling you that i already bought a graphic card. Maybe will be a good idea if all of us read the hole thread before posting ;-)

Agree, with the statements above. The wave backgrounds make everything difficult to read and users have to scroll to see the content. Maybe you should change the idea of your design.

Once you buy a domain name. - Point the DNS to ns1.trap17.com and ns2.trap17.com. you should make that normally in the place where you buy the domain. I made that for example in godaddy. - Wait until is propagated. - Log in in CPanel. - Add the domain you just bought. In "Parked Domains". - You new Domain should point now to your home directory. That it is to say: /www You bought another domain and you want to point it to a sub-folder. Let say: /www/second - Log in in CPanel. - Got to "Add on domains" - Enter the new domain New Domain Name: http://www.cyberfinder.com/ UserName/SubDomain Name: second.mizako.trap17.com pwd: a_pwd (i do not know exactly why you have to enter a pwd here) - You second Domain should point to /www/second -
Your site breaks some of the usability guidelines. You have gray text in a gray background and your font is extrimely small. As a result of these things the site is difficult to read. I will supress the underline decoration of the menu links. Maybe you can change background and font-color of the menu options when the mouse is over (CSS [a:hover]). The content organization is good but please make the font bigger.

Voip(voice Over Internet Protocol) real money saver

Are you kidding me? Did you ever try Skype? Messenger sucks a lot. -
I suppose that you mean that the Win boot does not recognize linux. That it is true but you can recover the dual boot quickly. Just after installing Windows, reboot your computer, boot from the SuSe CD, log in and activate Lilo or Grub again. Next time you boot your machine, you will have the dual boot manager again. I just wanted to clarify this thing in order to avoid people thinking that if they have to install Windows again they will lose the Linux partition.

It does not depend of the sharing software that i use (i tried with it not activated) and i have also installed Service Pack 2. I discovered that all my friends have also read-only box checked in the folders of their XP OS. I do not know exactly what that means maybe you also have. At the end the problem was that i had some files with read-only permisions (but i could remove this restricition in files, not in folders). So i could do what i wanted. By the way thanks for your quickly answers and your clarifying ideas.

I discoverd that all the folders in my computer have the rea-only permision checked. What is happening?. I went to control panel to make me sure and yes i am administrator. What can i do?. There should be one configuration in XP that i have wrong. Please help.

Hi,I am working with a firma. We use WinCvs which is a software similar to perforce. I downloaded the developement to C: (eg. c:/development)The folder c:/development and the folders under it have Read-Only permisions. I need to remove that restriction. I press right-button, i unchecked the read-only check-box and i apply to this folder and folders under it. Whe it finisehd i click ok. Whe i press the right button again i discovered that the folder has still the read-only attribute. So it seems nothing changed. something similar happen to you?How can i uncheck the the read-only box forever?I really freak out about this permissions problem. Yes, i am administrator. Thanks a lot for your secure feeback.

I think that focusing in a package like "html, CSS, php/mysql, javascript, xhtml, photoshop" will be better for you in order to get a job. PHP/MySQL are quite demanded there you are right. No idea about the money in States i am european.

To preoload just an image takes 5 lines of code. Two images 7. Not that much :-)

Totally Agree!!!!!! A normal user could move to Linux and keep using tools really similar and powerful as he used to. Let say: Gimp instead of Photoshop, OpenOffice instead of Office and so on... What keeps most of the people there, are the Games. Even if now some Games run in Linux and Mac there are centuries behind Windows. The next year battle for Linux developer will be to achieve Games support and persuade Games developers to programm also for linux. Until that moment arrive linux will remain as a programmer/expert user platform.

Hi,I bought two domain names. I pointed one to my Xisto account root. It works perfecttly. My doubts come while pointing the other one. I would like to point the other one to a subfolder of my Xisto domain. For example:http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ --> should point to --> mizako.trap17.com/domain2/Just now i just went to CPanel/Parke Domains/ and i add there the domain2. Now i have boths domain names pointing to the my Xisto root. Can anyone tell me how to do to point the second one to a subfolder? Thanks in advanced.

Whats Wrong With Trap17 TRAP17 WEBSITE LAYOUT
mizako replied to scab_dog's topic in Web Hosting Support
IE is the most used browsers out there and it is normall that Xisto is optimized for Firefox. Hopefully it can be for both. :-) Signed by a Firefox user. -
Forget databases and scripting. If you have time read this page, it could help you to get the XML Hype Not moving from HTML to XHTML is like keep using Netscape 2.0 when there is already outside the 7.0 version.
