Hi, It really looks professional. I agree that maybe the music is too quick for your site. I am not that enthusiastic about Website with Music also. The intro is nice and without music will be better. Also, the padding of the "Our Company" and "New Products" text does not appear good in Firefox. It looks good in IE but not in Firefox. Also, you should put a title name to your page as it was previously mentioned.

The funny thing is that the graphic card has less than a year. It is still on guaranty!!! He already brought it to the shop. ;-)

Hi, I just spoke with my friend on the telephone. I kind of missunderstood him before. You were right Galahad his computer does not turn off just stays turned on but not booting up. I told him to unplug the RAM modules and the graphic card and clean the dust on the slots. He will try this evening and we will let me know how it is going. Thanks a lot for such a quickly answers!

Hi,A friend of me call me telling me that his computer is *BLEEP*ed up. His computer turns off before anything comes into the screens. Three beeps sound before it turns off. He asked me for advice but i did not know what to tell him. I guess could be the Bios but i do not have a big background experience with this computer problems. He told me he was cracking a program or something like that. So, maybe a virus *BLEEP*ed him. If anyone know what is the problem and what it is the solution would be really nice.thanks in advanced!

I have a couple of hotmail accounts. I use them to register myself in Pages and for messenger. Then i have the uni account which i use a lot because the Uni works basically with email notifications. The most used account is my gmx account. I have also a gmail/yahoo account but i do not use them. Basically i always use email clients such as Thunderbird so it is pretty much the same the account that i use.

Hi,I just installed the ftp server proftpd in my linux machine. I executed it and i can login it with my user. It redirects me to my /home/myuser. Until here everything ok.My idea was configuring a ftp server where a predifined user could access only a folder's range with read only permisions and also a folder with write permisions but not read permisions. I am not sure about the steps to follow to do this. So i thought that maybe someone in trap is using proftpd and could help me. So the steps will be:- Create a user with the command useradd/passwd- Modify the file /etc/proftpd.conf to achive the desired configuration.I have been loking to the file /etc/proftpd.conf but i am not sure how can i achieve this. Hopefully someone can help me a little bit. Thanks in advanced.

You should try k3b. It really rocks and you can use it without KDE. I use Gnome and i use K3b. I think it already comes with KDE and with Gnome you have just to download/install it.

I use Gimp always. It is free, cross platform and i agree that it is almost as good as Photoshop. I use it always for editing and creating images for the Web.

About the small distro i know Guadalinex-Mini. It is a spanish distro. Guadalinex The beauty of linux is that it is opensource. You can go directly to the official website of the a lot of distro distribution and they will point you where you can downloaded. Ubuntu goes far away and they send you for free home the number of copies you order :-)

https://www.skype.com/en/ You can call from PC-PC total free. It works like a messenger. You add contacts and when they are online you can call them. I just headphones and it is really confortable. When someone calls you a pop up windows appear and a ring tone sounds. Like normal telephone. You can also call from PC to fix or mobile phone with skype. For that you have to pay (but it is really cheap) and the quality is it not as good as PC-PC calls. You hava an integrated instant messaging service but i do not know if you can transfer files. For PC-PC is really great.

As i wrote in my second message i am trying to implement Remote Scripting which aims to reduce the code (avoiding redundant markup) sent by the server to the client. That it is to say that the PHP scripts just send plain text to the client and the client creates the interface by means of Javascript. I know PHP and i know that i can write the whole page with PHP but i need to do it by Javascript. I did not want to begging a topic about Remote Scripting in this thread (maybe in another one), i just wanted to obtain a Javascript solution for the problem i exposed. I appreciate a lot your help but please answer me with a Javascript solution if you know it. Thanks in advanced!
