You are really wrong. A lot of people uses small conection and the speed connection will be a limitation for a long, long time.Moreover, it is really stupid to increase the bandwith (Remind that you pay for it) without need. Also, Nowadays the client's machines are almost of the same power than the server's machines. So it does not make sense to have a server processing a lot of http-request and generating redundant markup while the client does not make anything and just wait. A lot of people is moving into Remotescripting. For example, the php scripts return pure plain text and the GUI interface (XHTML markup) is produced based on that pure text with Javascript help.

Hi,Sure they have a lot of storage size but i do not think that they have one giga for every gmail account. It is a marketing point that worked perfectly for them. About the point that maybe they change this free email system into a paid one. I heasitate about it. I think they get more money with google adsense in every email account than they will earn with paid account. I bet most of the people will migrate to another account. Remember they parse every email content (I also think that it is not moral at all) and they publish publicity according to it. it is more probable that they create a messsenger to expand their market.

What do you mean with refresh an image?. Change the image for another one, for example when the user clicks a link? If it is that it can be done with Javascript?Please, explain more detailed what it is exactlz what you want to do and maybe post a link.

In order to change the corners to rounded ones, i acomplish that using small background images, these are just a rounded corners which match with the others colors, for some elements. In CSS you will right something like: Lets say you have a div elment with "id=footer". You want the bottom left border to be rounded. I think ICQ and MSN have already some links into both clients that points you to comercial places. Having a messenger for example for MSN is a clear way of keeping users using their products. E.g. Hotmail. Most of the people would not use Hotmail if they did not have the MSN messenger. The small companies i really do not know how do they get founds. Really interesting method but why is more useful and much better than Javascript image replacement. I use list for my menus also. I think it is correct to use them because a menu is an enumeration not a table and nowadays the desired effects can be achieved by means of CSS.

It looks much better than the previous one. But i still get an ugly template because the current poll box does not float in the right side and because of that the content beggings almost in the bottom of the page. I guess that it is not the desired effect. For your info: I am using Firefox.

Maybe you should think into moving to linux. ;-) There are some really light distros that will run decently in your box. Maybe you can configure a light desktop environment like fluxbox.

I do not now if you are using Windows or Linux and i assume that a paint programm is a computer graphic program like Photoshop. I recommend you GIMP. The linux photoshop ;-)

If you speak about videoconference i also do not think that messenger is the best combination. Eg. GnomeMeeting. It is true that there are a lot msn users and it is easy to stablisch a videoconference with msn. But in VoIP Skype is clearly in advantage. And they have already 100 Millions of Downloads. Quite a lot of people!! eh!

Hi,Recently i added a second domain name with "Addon Domains" in CPanel. Now this domain points to a subfolder of my home directory (eg. www/secondDomain). Today i wanted to check the Web statics of this second domain but under CPanel/Web-FTPStats the statics concerning this subdomain does not appear. The statics of the rest of my site appear correctly. How can i check this statics? Have i to log in CPanel in a different Way?.Thanks for your future feedback.

Try to - Log in CPanel- Go to MySQL databases- There create MySQL databases and grant users permisions- At the bottom of that page you will find a link to PHPAdmin. PHPAdmin provides you an easy way to manage databases tables, insert data and so on.Good Luck and let us know if you do not manage.
