The flu is still very "alive". The fact that it is getting lesser news coverage is due to the fact that it have become so wide spread that containing it is impossible. If the fatality rate of it is as high as SARS, you be sure that the human kind is facing a monster as huge as the Spanish Flu. Having said that, there are incidents of the virus becoming resilient to Tamiflu and this is definitely not a good news. It could mean that the virus have mutated. So the advice is, better be safe than sorry.

With the new season a couple of weeks away, lets guess who will win the league title. There is the usual big four of Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Man Utd. And then we have the likes of cash rich Man City looking to gate-crash the party. Outsider bet would be Aston Villa, who have had a brilliant season and will be looking forward to improving their league standing.For me, as an Arsenal fan, I will go for them to win the league title. Rarely is there such "contest" whereby you dont have to do anything. In this case, it looks like the company is using the free car as an marketing tools. And they have succeed in getting 1) free publicity and 2) most importantly, leads.

Social networking site is touted as the tools for people to remain in contact with friends. I dont think that is the case. As you would have join at least one by now, you will realise how time-consuming it is. Instead of catching up with friends over the free time that we have, we spend it online playing with such websites. That will further "deplete" the free time that we have to meet friends. So tell me, is it a social or anti social networking site afterall?As for cheating, it goes everywhere, not only with such websites.

Free will? There is no such things as free will. Human have the honor to choose the life they want to lead. Nah. It is circumstances that make them what they are. If there is a very good point about human, it is the ability to adapt and adopt to the new environment / circumstances.

Likewise, we have TV licensing in Singapore. Thou most of the time, we will be enjoying the channels from the cable tv provider (whom we are paying a monthly fee), we are made to pay for a tv license. Not only that, if we have a radio in car, we have to pay a licensing fee. If we opt not to pay, then we are not suppose to have a player in the car. You can choose to listen only to CDs but still you cant do so without paying the fee. So in total, we are made to pay for 2 services that we rarely or don't use.

After courting AC Milan and Barcelona the previous season, Adebayor was at in it again. This time, he courted Man City and Chelsea and eventually joined the former. Not that it will upset the Gunners faithful. In fact, they are glad to see the back of him.

I am kinda surprise that your fiance actually do earn from such paid-to-read scam. I have sign up for a few programs previously. Initially all is fine, with a steady stream of advertising that I faithfully click. After a month or so or when the amount is near the min required, the advertising emails suddenly stopped. And in place, came hordes of spams that I have never subscribed to. The spam is so bad that I have to forego the email address and sign up a new one.

Hardware, I rarely do any upgrading except to add on more gadget. As for software, it will be once in a while.

I have 2 plans. One is a 3MB and the other 10MB. Both are broadband. Reason why I have both, the former sucks big time. Internet signal always drops, be it wireless or cabled. Worse, their customer service always make us do things to check without actually solving the problem when we pass them the result of the test.

MS should be worrying now. Not only have they seem their market pie being eaten by Mac OS and Linux, they have to deal with the Google OS when it is launch. Will you switch from MS Window or Linux to Google OS?
