Becki's New Template My new template
FLaKes replied to Becca's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
You are creative... I like the site, the white didnt hurt my eyes, maybe because I dont have my monitor set very bright. Though it is kind of hard to see the gray text inside the cloud but then again it may be my monitors contrast. The other thing I would fix is your link in your signature, when you click your homepage it sends you to a directory in your webpage which doesnt exist, and you have to take everything out and just leave vintagefairy to access it. -
Awesome!!! I had been waiting a long time too see more frome this little robots, ever since some person posted it here a couple of months ago. Besides, I had heard this song on the radio a few weeks ago but didnt catch the name or the artist (they mustve said it at the beginning, and I didnt listen to it from the beginning). So this thread kind of killed 2 birds with one shot for me. Thanks!

I would like a psp, If it could turn into a cell phone it would be all I ever need, because I listen to music so much in a day that I wouldnt worry or ever want to carry 20gb of music that Im probably not going to finish listening too ever.

I think some parts are true, but in a relationship you have to let each other breathe also, unless you are mid way through your twenties I would agree you have to be with each other but when you are young, you are still learning and enjoying your freedom (not that you loose it when you are together, but sometimes you cant go everywere with your girlfriend, and I bet that she wouldnt like to have you when she is out with her friends). This is were trust and honesty comes in, and if your relationship does not have that, I seriously doubt that it will last, you cant be seeing each other 24/7 until you are married anyway.

I have yet to try one of those programs. and what faraz said is the reason in which I believe they are not for me either.

Cool, your site is sweet. That check a lot if interesting stuff on iDeserts.com totally drew me to your web page, and it Is a cool web page. The layout is nice and visually appealing. I immediately read the axis of the earth joke, lol. I was going to comment on it but having the email required sort of drew me away from it. This wasnt after reading this thread, I had seen one of your posts from another thread, and as soon as I was going to another thread, I read your check a lot of interesting stuff on Ideserts.com and I immediately opened up a new tab and entered the site.Overall its a really nice site and I hope you get a whole lot more visitors.

My Greenhole Website My new web site about Car Insurances
FLaKes replied to joeysicily's topic in Websites and Web Designing
What about insurance in Mexico? hehe... J/k. I think your website needs an interface, as it is right now it is just data but I think you could present it better. If you dont know how to make an Interface there is a lot of tutorials on the web, and some are so easy that you can do it yourself without any experience needed. For the tutorials I recommend the following site: Pixel2Life I hope this helps you and Good Luck!!! -
"gamer Buys $26,500 Virtual Land" (from Bbc News)
FLaKes replied to wonbin's topic in Computer Gaming
ummm.... I think the people who created Entropia are filthy rich now, with the buying of that island, and all the money people are spending on items, plus if you look at the news on the project entropia page you can see that someone bought a space resort for $100,000. http://www.entropiauniverse.com/ It must be a fun game, I will try downloading it and playing it some time soon. -
Ive Been Revolutionized About Gaming Revolution has awaken my inner gamer
FLaKes replied to FLaKes's topic in Computer Gaming
Exactly!! I definetely agree with you Spectre, the same thing happened to me with the gamecube, I had to sell my gamecube to buy an xbox because I couldnt stand the games that were coming out, besides since me and my friends started college we couldnt play smash bros. melee anymore, So I sold my gamecube and got the xbox and played .... halo, gta and halo 2.... after a couple months I sold my xbox and dedicated my time to music and studying. I thought I would never spend money on a videogame like I used to, and that I would never again be the first in line to get a next gen console. I have also realized that I no longer care about graphics, I prefer game play and lasting appeal way before I could even care about graphics, I can definetely tell you that I still think some old 8 bit and 16 bit and 32 and 64 games are way better than some new top end graphic boring games.Thats why I think that Nintendo Revolution IS going to be a revolution, I mean, playing with the controller that way is going to be awesome, I can see me playing vs my grandma (yeah right, I really doubt they are going to attract grandparents) J/K. I just want it because I know that I will be able to play the past nintendo games, I would love to play duck hunt again and the olympics game were you had the mat and invite my cousins to play just like when we were 6 year olds. Though I doubt it. I wish it could have old sega games, like Toe Jam & Earl which was one of my favorite games of all time (see Im not a nintendo Hardcore fan, I just play what I like.) -
The Nes Reincarnated NES remake with newer hardware.
FLaKes replied to Zythrix's topic in Computer Gaming
Wow thats really cool. Ive always preferred gameplay over graphics, I still think some nintendo games are funner than most newer games. You can never beat supermario bros 2 and 3 though, those were awesome games. -
I was just surfing until I accidentaly happened to see some more nintendo revolution and I decided to investigate about it. I was totally impressed, I read a lot of the details (controller, backwards compatability, wifi, etc.) and I bet that there is still some more to come. Seriously, I thought I had matured and that I wouldnt like games anymore after the xbox got a bit boring about a year ago. I wasnt even excited about the xbox 360 release, I was really careless about the new consoles and video games, and now that I read about the revolution, its like if the inner gamer inside of me has awaken. Right now Im probably going to start saving money so that I can buy it whenever it is that it comes out. Anybody know the date? I dont want to be saving money forever.

Your Nature According To Your Birth-date Of Month
FLaKes replied to OpaQue's topic in Dating And Relationships
Wow, it is true, I do agree with it, but its not complete, its probably just like a intro of your nature, and there are some other things that you add to it for people to be different. It also seemed to be true for my girlfriend. -
I really liked the second one, it reminds me of the part in the matrix where neo touches the mirror. That image kind of feels like we are on the other side of the mirror and that the hand is going through getting the melted mirror stuff on it.

It definetely is summer for me, first of all because its my birthday, and second of all because I like the word summer and I like how the sun shines on that season and the climate is really nice and you can go swimming and stuff.
-
My favorite one was the third, I think it was because it was easier to read and understand for me. I really liked how you talk about love through nature. Though the first one was also really really good, what threw me off was the second paragraph, I didnt like how desolation, and apparitions came together, maybe you could save those Ideas for another paragraph and find something that rhymes better, but I dont know, I havent studied poetry in over 4 or 5 years. Overall they are really good, keep it up! Cheers!

I cant imagine how it would be to drown in syrup. What if you accidently swallow a bit? imagine how you would open your eyes afterwards, all sticky. Though it is a fun experiment that probably has people thinking, how on earth can people think that they can swim on syrup as fast as they can swim on water?

I really like playing all types of sports. The only time when I think the sport if boring is when I watch it on tv, its really rare when I like to watch a basketball, soccer, football, volleyball ..... etc game on tv, unless its really exciting like the finals or I like one team. Usually I dont care, I really prefer to be the one playing.About my least favorite sport, I think it would be, though I dont know if it would fit in, would be the novillada, I think is what its called, I dont know what its called in English, its where the "torero" has to make the bull go through the red blanket, and torture him while he goes through. I really dont see any fun in torturing a poor animal, I still cant understand why some people enjoy this.

Ipod's Dirty Secret independent documentary
FLaKes replied to BuffaloHelp's topic in General Discussion
I really liked the video, it is produced really good. I cant believe that apples products where so disposable. Even for the price, thats why I think apple is for very rich people, people that buy stuff and then abandon it a couple of months later cause they got the new version etc. They are really nice products, especially design wise, but you can get the same kind of products from the competition with a decent design but a whole lot more reasonable price. -
Harry Potter 6 Spoilers! Warning: Harry Potter 6 Spoilers
FLaKes replied to semeticsister's topic in General Discussion
Dont you think it would be interesting if the movie director and the author suddenly decided to change the outcome of a movie in some way that doesnt affect the whole novel? The ending of the sixth movie was also spoiled for me as someone told it to me when I didnt care/like harry potter movies. It would be interesting if it was fake and the movie had a different outcome, though I really doubt it could ever be possible. It would be fun though, just to throw the audience a curve ball. -
Lol, I do the same thing unless its a really interesting post, or if it doesnt have a lot of posts. Usually the main reason why I dont read them all is because I dont have the time to read them all. To be honest, I am also here for the contest but sometimes I do like to hear most peoples opinions on the thread and lots of relevant/new interesting subjects are made every day. Good Job, Trap 17 is a Great community.

I bet youll never see something like that here in Mexico. It depends a whole lot on the peoples culture. I bet it would be very fun to have those, but many jobs would be replaced which I dont think would be very good since many people depend from a job like that to help out their families, and they probably a little training, no need for high level education for a job like that.

Optimus Oled Keyboard a keyboard revolution
FLaKes replied to Goosestaf's topic in Science and Technology
OMG!! That looks so cool. At first I was like... Oh just another mac type design expensive keyboard. Then I saw the first images on the keyboard and I was like well it looks cool, until I saw the quake configuration that I realized that the keys could be replaced by anything. I really see a huge international market for this, just imagine this, the manufacturers of notebooks and keyboards wont have to make a whole bunch of different versions of keyboards. They can just display the key it can be and anyone will be able to customize their keyboard however they wish. I can also see a huge market on audio and video programs where shortcuts are at your fingertips, imagine replacind the numpad when not in use with a whole bunch of shortcuts to photoshop or something, although you already can, but it would be nice to see the images there, it would especially be good for newbies. -
What Makes An Rpg Good? graphics...IGMs...playability..or what?
FLaKes replied to Arin Sky's topic in Computer Gaming
I totally agree with the past posts. If the game is going to be a 1 player game the story definetely has to be engaging and really stick to the person, good rpg stories I have liked are the chrono trigger and ff7. If the game is going to be mmorpg, then its definetely going to be the community that are going to bring life to it. -
I also had problems with formal spanish when I came back to Mexico after living in the United States with my dad. I had the luck, well not really, of living in Mexico and the United States since my parents are divorced, I lived the first 5 years of my life here in Mexico, then from 6 to 8 or 9 I lived in the United States with my dad (and I went to elementary school and learned English there), then from 9 - 11, I came back to Mexico to live with my mom, and I did 4th and 5th grade here, then I went back with my dad to the United States and did middle school over there. Then I came back after middle school to Mexico where I studied High school and went to the University. The really huge problem was in high school, I failed spanish class and had to repeat it on saturdays. The only good thing that came out of all this is that I know spanish and english, but not 100% either one. I bet that if I would take english in high school In the United States I would probably also flunk it. About the formal Spanish, It did bring me some problems because some people really do get offended if you dont talk to them formally.
