  1. Seriously, if no one knows about Ragnarok Online would think your private server is a NEW game as how you made your description in there. Many private servers have been doing that claiming other games as their own work.
  2. The truth is inaccurate information was on purpose. I have seen many wiki entries that is edited by jerks and even included links to porn and so on. Usually they target on famous people like the Presidents, book authors etc.. Wikipedia on the good side is they no need to pay anyone to sit the whole day making accuracy on the information since its all driven by the users. I rely on Wikipedia heavily on my research and so far, i have yet to encounter inaccuracy in information.
  3. With D60 going to be discontinued, D5000 seem to be the new center of attraction for its value .vs features. https://www.dpreview.com/reviews/nikond5000/ As shown in the review above, the difference between D90 and D5000 isnt that much and i learn that many is diverting their first time experience with D5000 than the always recommended D90 for starters.
  4. Hmm.. good color theme but overuse of soft drop shadows. Your carbon background create a distraction to the viewers when they browse through your text. You may want to consider in putting a lower opacity for your background.
  5. I was shocked over the accident and have been following the news in CNN. Its going to be time consuming for the Brazil navy to find blackbox since its hard to pinpoint the actual location of the crash . Still no news about the blackbox and cockpit recorder. Quoted is fresh off CNN
  6. Good review but you miss out the most vital information, the material that this chassis used to build on. I am going to buy this as honeycomb have better airflow than those mesh but honeycomb is fond to be a dust collector too
  7. I discussed this over an open conversation with a client and he requested the pictures to be cut like what is shown above. Its called Tiles Art. Mosaic is now where closer to what is shown above. Mosaic is an art technique which requires different shade of colors to form a large image / finishing. Tiles art is a photographer's underestimated technique that cuts a large picture into smaller piece and rearranged it into a grid layout. The term reflects to house construction when you arrange large ceramic tiles to form a seamless pattern. Not really identical in analogy but its way of preparation is almost the same. There is many ways to cut photos. Some preferred each image not to have the same size, creating certain concentration point / level of details.
  8. Used to be a hardcore gamer. Trying out every possible games in the market and stick on some good ones. Later in 2005, i got hooked into MMOs and became an addict to it. Right now, having a career and the future seems to be all booked up, i hardly have space for gaming except on poking around some RPGs, shooter and if some of the upcoming MMOs appeal me, i would maybe subscribe one of it and thats all. From my view, i consider myself a casual gamer now, hardcore no more.

    Sims 3

Yes i do agree on the expansions. I was tip off that Sims 3 will have Sims Shop where you buy premium addons, premium content etc.. IMO, all i want to spend on is just the core game, anything else is not needed unless i find it useful in my Sims experience.

    Sims 3

Sims3, for me, it is much better in terms of avatar interaction with the player. More options on your todo list for your sims as well as much more building options too :lol:I couldnt wait and downloaded a Sims3 through torrent and took a ride. Despite the vast range of expansion given to Sims2, personally, Sims3 brought in some realism to the Sims world. Preordered the game and waiting for it to be release in here.
  11. Pretty pics there. Let me guess, 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 DX ED II Nikon lens? the one that come with with D40 as a package? Dont go for Macro lens if you plan to use D40 for sometime. Yes partly its expensive and due to the small body chassis, it cant hold any zoom lens / fixed telephoto that is < f/3.5 in aperture. The bulkiness of the lens will block some of the accessible features in front of D40. Alternatively, you can scout around for a second hand macro lens if you are into macro shooting. Try getting the one i am using, Sigma 90mm f/2.8 Macro lens. It shouldnt cost a bomb for a 98% mint condition. Maybe you can do some price shopping :lol:The macro filter really did a good job for a cheaper macro fix. Question, does the lens comes with a lens hood? Pic of my choice, the dandelion. Keep up the good work :XD:
  12. I manage to try it on my work mobile workstation and i have to say, the given improvements in SP2 for Vista isnt really noticeable except for some what you have listed. Yes, it does improve some hardware compatibility but not its kernel, memory usage optimization. The mobile workstation, Dell Percision M6400 comes with Vista Ultimate x64 perinstalled and have Photoshop CS4, Dreamweaver CS4, Maya 2009 SP1, zBrush 3.1, The Foundry Nuke 5.1v composition software installed. Laptop is new as in 2 weeks old. As usual, it boots with nearly a gig of memory but the stability is much better than SP1 which it should. File transfer have a much better speed but on network transfer, i felt that its still the same (sorry couldnt give a much precise benchmark due to lack of tools). Seeing that Windows 7 is in the make, i would say the SP2 is more like a vanilla fill up in your ice cream bowl till the king of the hill comes in, Windows 7, or a fix for those who have yet to made the bleeding edge change to Windows 7.
  13. The best hand phone is the brand and phone model you liked. I like SonyEricsson since its much more flexible on the theme making and the customization. Anyway, all phones have its own solid advantage but whats the best lies to your instinct and what attracted / appealed you most.
  14. Well i believe in them differently. UFO do exist, since its a way to identify an unknown flying object without long winded explanation of that particular object. In general UFO dont need to be linked to extraterrestrial life forms out there. The commercials, the hype of ufo activity and our years of "wrong" exposure lead all these brainwashes that UFO is alien.I strongly believe in life form beyond our solar system but i dont believe in them having big oval eyes with green skin. For my years of chasing UFO news, i can only say, 12 / 50 news i came through is genuine. Lets say this, IF they want to study our planet, why show up and create attention in our media?
  15. A best way to do photo blog / dairy. Taking a photo with wide angle lens then cut out portions with story about it. Not really a new trick but its been in around the industry for years but only a handful get to use it creatively.
  16. I am going to share abit of my view about this. a task manager is good but not up to what a group needs. In general, an art group, needs the following : 1. A commonly used instant messenger. Be it iChat, MSN, Yahoo etc.. just make sure its the same protocol used. For large discussions etc. 2. Project Manager. Like what you mentioned, but with a much more options, log files on download / uploaded / updated files, time scheduler also a storage space for project files that allow you to retrieve it at anytime you see fit. 3. A shared test server. A server for you to run websites and test run on database and everything else. This is vital as working in a group, you must see the problems on the run in order to fixed it as a team as well. 4. Flickr account. Everyone needs one. Creativity isnt only in the designers blood but in everyone. When you have an A-HA moment, sketch it or digtally sketch it and post up to Flickr. Since there is no budget fixed for the group, I would suggest this method, buy a hosting package off Xisto, make it a test server and also a project files upload area. The file managing will be all manual so labeling of folders and files is vital here. Start using rememberthemilk.com for time scheduling. If the creative team is about to finish a layout for a site, put up task for coding team to start working on the backend and implementation of frontend to their backend.. etc. Still its all manual here, put in tags like [iMPORTANT], [uRGENT], [bUGFIX], [uPDATED] before any task title. Make up meetings in instant messenger every week. Discuss on issues, new ideas.. still, dont keep it till the very end on this. Progress speak for itself all the time. IF you plan to have a budget to spend on to boost the productivity in the team in near future, you can consider using https://basecamp.com/ . That is what i am currently using.
  17. I am currently running one at my living room. But Pentium 3 might not have the sufficient horse power for the large screen display.First of all, you need a mini ATX mainboard, a small form factor chassis, a decent graphics card HDMI capable, 1GB of ram, a durable DVD drive and a decent good HDD.You can give it a shot with Linux OS installed. Although it will be bulky for the living room but still, functional. The major problem will be the graphics card, i dont think there will be any AGP card with HDMI capable.
  18. I would suggest you to boot into BIOS and check the temperature from there. Rebooting so frequent would just shorten the HDD life fast. Faulty PSU wont reboot your comp just like that, it will just auto shutdown. Still better be safe than never, if you have an extra PSU, plug it in for a test run.Another possibility came into my mind, the thermal paste between your processor and HSF has reached its life span and require a clean off and reapplication.
  19. I disagree on the highlighted statement. HIV can be avoided and treated on long term. Cancer can be monitored and treated at long / short term. virus like SARS and any others is short and deadly. WHO did not panic anyone with their warning levels and alerts but to create proper attention to the unaware ones. Those virus can kill just anyone so there is nothing wrong that WHO made so much noise about the swine flu.
  20. Nikon D100, Nikon D3, 80-200mmm (f3.5-5.6), 50mm NIKKOR (f1.4), 28-80mm G series, 400mm VR (f2.8), 500mm NIKKOR mirror, Sunpak zoom flash. I used to have a 70-300mm ED lens but fungus infested it before i have the chance to put it into the air tight box. Currently deciding to shift my freelance into macro shooting as well as vehicles so might consider a faster fixed telephoto lens and a 1:1 macro lens with optional macro ring flash.
  21. Ah my bad, the bonsai image you used is so frequently used now.
  22. I hope that you tell me that the bonsai in the picture is a stock image. The header thing is so identical to some css showcase site. Anyway, its an honor that you post up your showcase. Hope others do the same. Good luck!
  23. You didnt get my point overall. Read what you have just written : If you're having problems with installation then contact Adobe and ask for help (they have an online support system you can use). When you tell them you got it from a torrent, make sure you provide your name and address and they will send round some friendly police officers to help you out. You have just given a non-constructive respond and no, i don't find it funny. The very first thing i would do is to do a search on the knowledgebase for solution before making contact to the customer support. I made phone calls to Adobe many times and i mentioned i got my Adobe software through torrents due to slow internet download speeds from Adobe sites after my purchase early this year. They dont care on how you obtain the software, as long as you have a legit Product ID and serial key, they are willing to help you out on your problems. As highlighted in bold. At rare situation you have to. Want examples? This one should do : http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ This is today rvalkass, actual customer support as the primary solution while torrent as plan b. Pirate or not, its up to the user on how they obtain the software. The key here is convenience. This is not all about legit way of doing but the fastest way of fixing up things.
  24. http://www.msn.com/de-de/ This is one humorous article to amuse yourself. Sometimes i did realize on some of the actions i did is included in there too. Ouch! Am a jerk too Update : dont mind the typo on the title. Didnt notice it until just now.
  25. Sandbox fantasy based RPG. Nothing i could think off except the ones you played. So far there is a few other genre that you can give it a shot.1. Far Cry 22. Mass Effect3. Fallout 3There may be others but i will post it when i come across such games. Alternatively, you can browse around at http://www.gameborder.net/
